Peaceful Doves Family Child Care

With the simple over the phone answer I knew this was not the place for my child. The person who answer was very rude when she answered the phone. It was just a simple hello, I asked if I had dial the right number and she said yes. Then I explained that I was looking for a day care and wanted to ask a few things. Her answer was: «ok what do you need?» (with an attitude) she simply didn’t care about my business. It makes me wonder if she talks like that to the kids.

I am so happy we decided to give Ms Enright a shot. We had a wonderful experience. Our 1 year old had a great time, and got to play with a small group near his age which was great. We would highly recommend!

Man, kids. I guess they can be funny and cute but I really like to do grown up thangs and then just go home alone to peace and quiet. I never thought I’d have one of my own.
But now I do.
And I love my little man — because he’s cute (it helps) and he’s actually a good kid most days– but I can be honest and say straight up, I don’t always want to be around him.
That doesn’t mean I’m just gonna drop him off at any daycare.
I don’t have friends with children and I’m not great at going to those Mommy and Me classes (because who voluntarily wants to hang out with more kids when you’ve got your own, right… amiright? I’m just kidding… maybe…) so I didn’t know the best way to look up daycares. I’m a huge Unilocaler so I looked for daycares around my area but there wasn’t a lot of reviews showing up. I was drawn to Elisa’s page because she posted a ton of pictures and a nice description about herself but she had no reviews. Turned out they’ve been filtered.
I’m glad we gave each other a chance. I went to visit her home while she was working. I got to take a tour of her property and see how she played with the children. I was also able to see how my little man could interact with other kiddies his age.
PROS:
— Her home is clean and well maintained inside and out. There is a lot of space for the kids to play. She has toys inside and outside she has a playground and bikes and balls for the kids to go crazy.
— She only takes around 6 kids per day.
— She has a variety of great animals for the kids to interact with: Chickens, goats, sheep, a llama, dogs, birds! This is what sold me to give Elisa a call in the first place.
On top of all that, she’s been taking care of children for years and has a lot of experience. She’s nice and friendly and affectionate with my kid and will sometimes even send picture texts to show what my little man is doing.
I feel good about leaving him with Elisa. She gives me my me time back, so I can return home alone to peace and quiet and do my grown up thangs.

I am so happy with my and my husband’s decision to have our boy attend daycare with Elisa Enright. When my first baby turned 8 months old and it was time for me to go back to work, I was hesitant (more like terrified) to leave my precious boy with a stranger! I requested a list of recommended daycares from the local childcare referral center and my husband and I set out to interview the prospects. We ran through many places feeling okay about them, but after we interviewed Elisa, we both just knew that she would be the perfect fit for us.
Her house is beautiful, spacious and always clean. The house has a very open floor plan and Elisa is able to keep her eyes on the children at all times! She has a beautiful backyard with a wonderful (and sturdy) play structure, a water table, tons of ride on toys, and many animals (very cuddly and well behaved dogs, a llama or alpaca, goats sheep…) to entertain the children with. I know that when I send my boy there, he will have plenty of action, socialization, adequate sleep, perfect gentle but firm discipline, and participation in many thoughtfully planned activities each day. And he will eat well to boot!
Elisa not only has this great environment for the kids, but also, she has the most lovely personality and she has the most natural way with children. We love her and couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. My son is always so excited to get up and go play with «Miss Lisa» and his «kids.» He runs from my car to her door every morning. He is now three years old and has a new baby brother and baby sister. I’m hoping that she will have space for them when I return to work again.
