Hangar 21 Bar & Grille

I love this bar. It always has a good variety of beer on draft. As well as bottles. I love all the live music too. The food is amazing as well. My husbands favorite is the egg rolls and mine if I had to pick just one would be the pepper jack cheese bites.

After the monumental, phenomenally amazing show by the band Helmet next door at The Warehouse this past Friday, March 6^th, a good friend had texted me that he was next door at this very establishment. Still on very much an emotional high, my adrenaline pumping beyond overdrive from the Helmet show (my favorite band of ALL time!!! Their first time in Shreveport!!!) I felt that I could keep this party going, and as it turns out, The Hangar was having the official after-​party of the Helmet show, complete with brain-​searing loudness (this is a good thing) from Tyler, Texas, the band Everything Shatters. Aaaaaaand the proverbial cherry on top, was there was no cover after the Helmet show. So, in I go. and I ordered an ice-​cold Hoegaarden in a bottle for $ 4 and met up with my friend. We talked old times and new times as best we could over Everything Shatters and rather enjoyed ourselves. We did not order food, but the appetizers, burgers and sandwiches also sounded pretty fantastic, so I know I’ll be back at some point to eat and catch another band, as this venue is extremely band friendly, with live bands it seems at least about four or five nights a week. I must recommend that they get the local band Black Water Bride to fill up some space one night and bring the house down. They are pretty bad a*s. This Friday the 13^th, Milk Carton Mafia will blow the place out, along with By The Machine, and Critical Failure. In my recent trip to Shreveport I had the opportunity to order delivery from this place. My order came super quick!
I ordered a burger and it was cooked really well and my waffle fries were super tasty! Great bar food!
