I like this store. It seems to be doing what all local hardware stores are doing these days, and that is to sell hardware… and other stuff. Mostly fru-​fru, shee-​shee-​type stuff. Like, here you can get a hammer, some nails… or a cream cheese knife with a fleur de lis at the dull end of it… You can buy a saw or some little cutesy LSU knick knack.
Thing is, be it the hardware or the kitsch, it’s all a bit on the pricey end. Even in their sale, 50%-75% off section, I found stuff to be still out of my league. It’s still fun to look around here. This store is located in the Uptown Shopping Center. And the employees are very nice here as well.
