There has been a staffing change, and the bat-​shit crazy, scary bartenders are no longer working here. Not only are those assholes gone, but the new bartender is Brilliant. Yes kids, he’s so good I had to capitalize that «B».
Collin is not only friendly, but he knows his beer better than most (he is also a brewer). So, should you be undecided on what you want to poison your liver with, ask Collin for a suggestion, and he’ll steer you right.

Well, if you are using Unilocal to figure out where to go, you aint got no choice — this is the late night hang out. Don’t bring up Sean White or act like a tourist, or you may be slipped a mickey and your body shipped back on the greyhound bus that picks up Mexicans at the haunted hotel down the street. Pub food (the brisket sandwich is suppose to be special, but it is just cooked in tomato sauce), cheap beer, and white boys who need a quarter to call home and have their mama do their laundry. One good thing was the fireside chat and watching the Olympics hockey over a cheap tap beer, and the fact that the town is caught in a time warp.

Big bar, with giant high ceilings and all kinds of crazy old Silverton memorabilia on the walls, a stage with live music on most Friday and Saturday nights, and a fireplace with a couple couches and rocker chairs around it for relaxing. Did I mention the fireplace has a huge moose head above it? Yeah.
Pretty good booze selection, 6 or 7 beers on tap, and a cool selection of local bottled beers, including a bunch from SKA brewery in Durango, and also the really local Silverton brewery.
Food is definitely bar food — burgers, sandwiches, and wings, but it’s all pretty tasty. They’ve got a few smallish TVs too if there’s a game on.

The beer tap was having issues so my bf had to get a bottle. I had a long island. It was way over soured but the barkeep added some more coke for me. The prices were high for a dive bar, but the fire was cozy!
