Not only great customer service, but phenomenal coffee & food. Definitely a great pick!

Great food with perfect atmosphere! The menu was refreshing with enough options to keep you coming back for weeks without having to double back. The outdoor seating was perfect for a Sunday morning. The omelet I ordered had plentiful ingredients. Too often restaurants skimp on ingredients and compensate with additional eggs.

Best coffeeshop west of Minneapolis and East of Portland. Really truly made our pit stop through Sioux Falls exceptional. Excellent cinnamon raisin toast. Great healthy options(steel cut oats were yum!). Amazing music choices. Great atmosphere. We bought a mug! Go go go!

Returned to Josiah’s and enjoyed the high protein salad — very fresh and healthy ingredients… and it was tasty to boot! Exceptional service!

The atmosphere was great and the owner was very polite and welcoming. I had the Americano and it had great flavor. The andouille wrap for breakfast was very filling and flavorful. The sauce that came on the plate was spicy and cooling at the same time. Hit this place up for some great food and coffee.

Excellent space that they have also expanded into the lobby of the building complex. It is only slightly off of the downtown strip so it’s a locals joint mainly. They serve hot breakfast and have a separate weekend menu that includes delicious omelets and a wide variety of breakfasty options. I had a nonfat decaf cappuccino and a side of toast for a super light caff free morning and absolutely loved it. They are super great and open when the other places are closed on the main downtown area. It’s good for going by yourself to study or with friends for brunch!

Impressed. Very nice coffee shop/café. I had lunch on back to back days. I had one of their artisan pizzas(fig jam, prosciutto, goat cheese) and their Cuban panini. Both were very good — pizza was my favorite. Very nice atmosphere and great employees. I talked with the owner for a bit. Very nice gentleman.

Tasty and dog friendly! Ate on the patio as we were traveling with our small dog. Husband and I shared two flatbread pizzas: sausage and basil and the habanero brisket. They were both great the the brisket was our favorite.

Who says you can’t find excellent, fresh, real food in the mid-west. This place won’t disappoint. Menu is outstanding. Lots of great options, including healthy choices(I said choices, they have great pastries and pies too) Perfect for breakfast and lunch. It’s a little hidden away in an office building next to the Hilton Garden Inn downtown, but definitely worth discovering. I always eat here when traveling to Sioux Falls. My favorite was the steel cut oats with flax and chia. I also enjoyed their version of Bulletproof Coffee.

Josiah’s is a great find in this Midwest town. Called after the founder of Sioux Falls and his story written beautifully on the wall in the coffee place. I was here about 3 times on my travels and always look forward going here. The staff is amazing, fast and friendly you order at the counter, get a number and pay, they bring you your stuff. First the coffee is excellent, different kinds of milk are available. The food menu is quite large, pizzas,(look like homemade, little artisan ones), omelette, wraps, sandwiches and salads and a breakfast menu that’s available all through the day. My andouille breakfast wrap with egg was a great choice, just the right amount of spice in the sausage. The food arrives usually fast and one time a waitress recommended a dessert to me that was a enormous piece of some kind of velvet pie that was to die for. I would be a regular here for sure. There is plenty of parking across the street and at the bridge you have access to the river greenway.

Great coffee, fabulous lunch-type food, and a friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back! This business is locally owned, and according to the local paper the owner is involved in the movement to cap the predatory interest charged by the«payday loan» industry. He’s faced a lot of opposition from the predatory industry; and when I made the connection I’ve tried to make a point of supporting this business!

Theres plenty of seating, wifi, and just an overall good ambiance. The décor of the café fits the modern feel of the building adjacent to it — the staff is polite and the food is great! First time in South Dakota and already I want to come back!

My absolute favorite place for lunch. The Cuban sandwich is my go-to meal accompanied with a side salad that they have a specialty dressing. It’s local with friendly staff. Always impressed and they use fresh and local ingredients

This was not a planned stop for our trip, but when I searched best breakfast in Sioux Falls Josiah’s was on the list. Order the English Muffin and I promise it will be worth the visit! Food: I ordered the English Muffin with Eggs, Bacon, Cheese and added Avocado. I also ordered the Carmel Roll since it looked so good sitting in the display. The Carmel Roll was delicious, but a few bites was all I needed(glad my dad was there to pick up my slack and eat the rest). When the English Muffin arrived it looked a bit small(I had been eating lots of big breakfasts on this trip so my concept of normal sized breakfast was off). The English Muffin sandwich was amazing and plenty of food! The English Muffin is made from scratch and tastes amazing… I was tempted to ask if I could take a few home they were that good. Heads up, the sauce they serve with the sandwich has a kick… it takes a second, but you’ll feel it. Service: The woman that helped us at the counter was amazing. We had no idea what to order and she guided us through the menu. You could tell by her descriptions of the menu items that she was passionate about the food they served. She checked on us a few times during our meal and was wonderful! Atmosphere: The atmosphere is nice and they have outdoor seating as well. They have a story on the wall about the history of Josiah and lots of homemade goodies available for sale. There was a steady flow of customers and the place had a nice local feel. Location: There is a large parking lot which made it easy to find a place to park. It is located on the first floor of an office building. It has a bit of a mixed crowd with house moms, kids, professionals, and tourist(us!). Overall: I give Josiah’s a high 4. The English Muffin was delicious! Josiah’s will be my first stop if I make it back to Sioux Falls anytime soon. Worth the visit!

Located in a corporate building, this café is an unlikely spot for a quick bite but we visited due to a glowing recommendation, it’s being open for the late lunch hour, and its proximity to our destination. While the waitresses did not disappoint, the food was mediocre and the grumpy cook sat at the coffee bar texting and did not engage with his staff. The salmon bowl had great ingredients but was flavorless as was the tuna sandwich and empanadas. Fortunately, the coffee and cookies were tasty! The funny personalities of the waitresses kept us there but it is not first on my list of restaurants if we visit again.

Ordered the reuben to go based on a recommendation from staff. It was terrible. Tough and stringy corned beef and completely unmelted cheese. Even worse, it was almost 10 dollars! Two stars only because the potato chips were fantastic. Didn’t try any coffee beverages here, but I would not recommend the overpriced food.

Found this on Unilocal while on a three-week road trip. Quick overnight visiting Sioux Falls. was one of the only places open on the July 4th weekend but so so worth our little side trip to eat there for breakfast. It was very busy but we sat at the little bar counter. everyone was very attentive and kind. even felt like we were the only ones there by the way they had a chat with us. coffee was perfect and I had the most amazing omelette I think I’ve ever eaten. it was called the Greek omelette and besides the artichokes red bell pepper and olive they had freshly ground large chunks of pepper in the eggs which made it super tasty. My husband and I both had breakfast and coffee and it was about $ 25.00. F.y.i when you’ll take you there you think its in this folder small shops it’s actually in the three-story CNC building across the street. There was a lovely outdoor area to sit in and a couple people had their puppies with them.

Came on a couple occasions for coffee in the morning, and like others enjoyed the strong, yet smooth coffee. After my good morning experiences I decided to give their food a try and so stopped by for lunch. I had the vegetarian wrap and a cup of their pork chili. The wrap had humus, romaine, tomato, red onion and carrots in a flour tortilla, it was pleasantly filling without making me feel weighed down. The chili was also nice, hints of bbq, plenty of meat and not too salty. A good value for lunch for under $ 9.
