This is the wrong place to go for a cut. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The owner should learn how to cut hair as she did a very bad job on my hair. I feel so bad to move around with this cut & wish I had never been there. Please avoid going to this place as u will regret it.
I will never ever go back or send anyone to this place.

As I understand, this place has changed management just very recently. It is very comfortable and clean. I luckily had my hair cut by Juliana. She is truly great at what she does, very friendly and just an overall very nice person.

I have had my hair cut by more than two dozen different people over the years, and I have finally found a place where I can get a consistently good cut as well friendly customer service. Since there isn’t much more for me to add: the salon is very well kept and always clean; there is abundant street parking. And if you get hungry after your cut, you can grab McDonald’s around the corner — if that’s your thing. I recommend making an appointment, but you can also do a walk-​in.
I cannot comment on the manicure and pedicure. Not applicable to me.

A diamond in the rough is how I can best describe this salon. I found this salon because I bought a deal online for waxing. I was not so impressed when I walked in. The salon is laid out oddly but it had all the basics and the equipment seems new. T he room was set up well for waxing. No frills but it had what was required. The esthetician added eyebrow threading even though I didn’t ask for it. It was only $ 6 so not a big deal and it looks good. My husband actually got his hair cut too while he was waiting for me and it was only $ 6!
Basically this is a good salon that is cheap, but don’t expect extra pampering or fluff stuff like lemon/​cucumber water and bathrobes.

I went during my lunch break. They let me just relax and read while I was getting my toes done and then made polite conversation while I was getting my nails done. They didn’t have a large selection of nail polish but enough to make a choice. They did have some shifty costumers come in and try to haggle the prices, which to me is rude and awful. I’m sending my boyfriend for a haircut there and I’ll ask him how it goes but as far as my mani/​pedi it was pleasant.

Not worth your time or money! My sister decided to try it out and give it the benefit of the doubt but regretted it later. Luckily we purchased the groupon so hopefully we will get a refund for that (you have to love the groupon promise) My sister and I made an appointment and showed up just a little early. There was only one lady there who explained that there should be someone else coming but she didn’t know where she went (I waited 20 min for her to show up, unprofessional) We were disappointed in the very few choices of nail polish but oh well we found colors that we were okay with. THEY GET PAINT ALL OVER YOUR SKIN! I put this in caps because we read that review and ignored it. My sister and I are the type of people who will let them know if they need to fix something so we thought it wouldn’t be a problem. Boy were we wrong! They spent more time removing polish than they did painting and still could never get it all off. finally we decided it was pointless even pointing out where they messed up. Also they didn’t completely remove my previous nail polish and I could see that through my new nail polish. The lotion was clumpy and gross, she made my cuticles worse than they were (i get my nails done often so they were just fine but she made them all jagged) She filed each nail different and REALLY short when I asked her not to! It was horrible and I DON“T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!

I go by this corner sometimes and noticed the new hair salon so I thought I would give it a try given the new equipment and the low prices advertised on its windows. The haircut I received was fine and I have no complaints about that so why the two stars?
First, the price on the window was misleading. There was extra for every little thing (including hairdrying, which I have never heard of before). So just be prepared. The price was still very reasonable so it’s not a reason not to visit, I just don’t like being misled.
Second, and this is what I consider a very important issue: some of the staff is incredibly loud. I don’t want to have to sit there for half an hour listening to someone shouting into a phone for all that time. It is unprofessional and very unpleasant. On occasion, this person would leave, but later I figured out that she simply locks herself in the restroom and camps out there talking on the phone. That is not a courteous use of the facilities nor does it reduce the noise concerns.
I had high hopes for this place, the location would make it very convenient to go there for services regularly (in fact, I was looking forward to getting a pedicure done there as well), but I will not visit again until the staff shows more professional and courteous behavior.
