Poorly managed. In fact they had a sign up saying they’re hiring a manager — guess they don’t have one working till they find a new one. Girl did not ask me if I needed help or if I was finding everything ok as she walked from the back room to the register. As I’m checking out she is painting her nails — I’m concerned because I don’t want any polish on my newly purchased jewelry. Also it is very unprofessional. When I mentioned it she says «We do it all the time» — not gonna pay top dollar for a chain boutique if they have no customer service or general managerial skills.

I’m so happy that I finally came a store that I really like. They have a variety of colors, not just your basic either, they have everything sorted by colors. I have purchased several clothes from dresses, shirts and even shorts that were on sale. I normally dress in black and browns and this store has given my wardrobe a variety of color. I have also purchased tons of fun jewelry and some gifts for friends that I’m sure they will enjoy as I have. The staff is super friendly and you can always ask them for their fashion opinion.

This is by far my favorite Francesca’s just because the staff is so wonderful and always looking to help the customer. I have never walked in and felt that I was being ignored because whenever you walk in, there is always someone with a smile to greet you, and I love that! I don’t think I have ever walked into this location and not walked out with something. I love the dresses here, and the wonderful accessories they have! I have so many different necklaces from this store, and get tons and tons of compliments whenever I wear a piece from here… not to mention, I always get compliments on my dresses, too! They really have the most fun attire here that you can’t find anywhere else. I always enjoy looking around, because I know that I will find a hidden gem that no other store could match! I love everything about this store. I just wish it was a little bigger, but they have done such a wonderful job with the space that they have! Keep doing what you are doing! I come back for the staff all the time… I have never been treated better as a customer in a clothing store!

They have some of the most fun dresses for every occasion! They have dresses in every color you can imagine and in all different prints. The dresses are about $ 44 but they always have manager sales of particular items and also items for final sale. I always try to look out for the deals because I usually purchase dresses at Francesca’s for about $ 18-​$ 30!

I love this store. They always have cute items and I enjoy looking around. I almost always stop in when i go to old orchard. It’s a small shop and can get crowded but non the less it has some adorable clothes and accessories! Love Francesca’s.

I have been a customer of Francesca’s since high school when one opened in Evanston (maybe about 10 years). After my most recent experience, I am never coming back here again. I was at Francesca’s 2 weekends ago exchanging a necklace I had bought as an option for a NYE outfit. I decided it didn’t work with the outfit– NOTE: I never ever wore this necklace. When I tried to return the necklace in exchange for a picture frame, and the store clerk told me the necklace looked «worn.» Despite having the tag on it, and having the receipt, the store clerk continued to berate me for my desire to return the necklace because she saw scratches on the surface of the fake plastic jewels (I examined myself and just thought it was part of the cheap plastic). She justified her argument saying I could easily have removed the tag and replaced it and continued by saying the store issued a memo saying she should scrutinize returns more closely. While she agreed to process the transaction, she continued babbling on about how it looked worn. Basically, I left the store red in the face and shaking from defending myself. I sent an email to the company explaining my experience– thinking the company would be appreciative of bringing the harassing behavior of their employee to their attention. Instead, I received a blanket email saying the area manager would follow up with me– which they never did– thus resulting in this review in a public form.
BOTTOM LINE: Either don’t bother going here. Or if you do, only purchase items that you have examined carefully for flaws and you are certain you are going to keep, to avoid arguments with store clerks who trained to scrutinize the condition of the returns tooth and nail.

When you’re at Old Orchard, stop in! It’s inbetween The Bagel and Express

God I love this place. I was SO excited when I saw that it was opening at Old Orchard. Perfect!
It has very cute clothes, I love the arrangement by color, it is perfect! All the dresses/​tops are unique, cute and not THAT expensive. Their earrings are gorgeous, and priced at $ 18 which is quite a bit but if you compare them to the earrings at forever21 (nearby) you’ll notice a huge difference in quality.
They also have a bunch of fun knick knacks and cute items similar to what you would see at Urban Outfitters, it makes for an interesting browse!
The real steals here are their jeans, handbags and purses. Their jeans were only $ 38 and they were nice, long, dark and they fit perfectly! They have such a cute array of handbags and clutches. I saw sandals there for $ 10.
