Average AF. Pretty much the equivalent to the most basic b***ch you can think of. It’s cheesecake, what do you expect? Spotty service and overpriced decent food. This is the closest cheesecake to my area. I’m not the biggest fan of stairs and they make you climb what seems like 5 flights but I’m not about to take the elevator; a good excuse to burn 1 extra calorie. Everyone that works there are either in their high school jobs or significantly older. There’s hardly an in between. I come here mostly of their lemonade and the bread. They shiest the F out of you never filling up the 5.00 lemonade to the top so that’s pretty shitty and you already know it’s not free refills. Food is decent nothing special. They have lunch specials for half price. I guess that’s a plus. Nothing special. Service can be hit or miss but they’re mostly pretty shitty and have you waiting long periods of time to be waited on.

To first start this place was moderately busy when my party of 7 arrived. We had to wait 10 – 15 minutes which myself and my party did not mind. We were eventually sat at a booth and the waiter came up to take our drink orders. I ordered an old fashion and it took a whole 30 minutes to get my drink while everyone else got their lemonade and all else of which they ordered. This was just the start of the downfall of service, my menu had a piece of chewed gum slapped between the pages. Wonderful. The table was covered in some greasy, oily substance that was not properly cleaned. The food took forever to come out. When the food did arrive it was very good but the overall experience was ruined. 2 stars. Won’t return for a while.

Service is alright. Sort of slow. Thankful for the bread :) Seared Tuna Tataki tasted fine. The portion is just right. The atmosphere was suitable for conversations.

I decided to meet a gal pal here for dinner and, from the start, was not expecting a mind blowing meal. It was a Thursday night so we were seated briskly. I have to say, I love how open this restaurant is and all the warm colors. The lighting also provides a very romantic, relaxing feel. Our waitress had a very unfriendly demeanor and looked annoyed throughout our entire meal. I do not think I saw her smile once… seriously, why are you even in this business? Aside from that, the food was good. The menu offers a large variety so it’s quite hard to decide. Both my guest and I decided to settle with salads. I ordered the Luau salad– it was seriously bigger than my head! Not to mention, it was pretty good! It’s filled with so many mixings so this salad is super filling!- grilled chicken, pineapple, cucumbers, peppers, green beans, carrots, onions, crisp wontons, and peanuts! Like wow– talk about a salad! My other guest ordered the Santa Fe salad and said the dressing, the spicy peanut vinaigrette, was divine. Surprisingly, at the end of the meal, I was stuffed! I did not pass on the cheesecake though. I mean duh– it’s the cheesecake factory. I know I will be back here because, besides LEYE restaurants, I think this is one of the better chains.

I am from Buffalo Grove, and I will travel all the way to the Skokie location just because of the layout. I’m all about the view and the beauty of where I am sitting. This Cheesecake Factory is unlike any of the others. I love the second floor dinning. I go here quite frequently, whether if it’s for meeting a friend, a date, a family sit down or just a casual noshing session after walking thru the Old Orchard Mall. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried everything on the menu,(they have a large selection/variety of food). I would order these avocado egg-rolls, as an appetizer, you will not regret it. I will say EVERYTIME I sit down here, the service is nothing less than fantastic. The food is always to perfection.

The place is great with food and staff and server were friendly even though we had more than an hour wait before we got seated. Bought a whole cake for a surprise for my sister after we ate dinner which would have been unfrozen after 3 hours but it’s still frozen. Just could not help to think if they did remove the cake the time we told them to.

Even after reading all the horrible reviews, tho I have been to cheesecake factories all over the US I was a bit worried, but me and my husband actually had great service and the food was even better. You either like this place or you hate it… which I don’t really understand how you could hate it. Their menu is a freaking book. They have everything… Mexican, American, Chinese, it’s all over the place. I love that. I like options! Our sever was so friendly and it’s such a beautiful restaurant! Don’t get why the reviews are so horrible but to each there own! I had the chicken Madeira! So so good! The sauce was yummy and the veggies were fresh! My husband had the spicy chicken sandwich and loved it, very spicy though! We started with shrimp appetizer and avocado egg rolls which are always amazing. No complaints here!

Food can be average or decent at best. Been there several times and I live near Old Orchard. I remember the first time I tried this place, I think I ordered turkey club with fries. The fries were hard as hell, felt like it was burnt to crisp. The food portions are pretty big. I’ve tried other items on the menu such as pepperoni pizza, shrimp angel hair spaghetti, and shrimp tacos? They were pretty decent. Their desserts are pretty good, too. I remember trying their chocolate tower truffle cake, but I couldn’t finish it because the portion was kind of big. I’ve also had their strawberry cheesecake which was so good. I love cheesecake!

I came here for dinner with my family and we all had a great time. There is such an extensive menu that there is something for everyone. I had the delicious pasta da vinci and others ordered the orange chicken, shepherd’s pie, and shrimp scampi. The portions were huge and we were too full for dessert. My favorite dessert to get there is the red velvet cheesecake. Can’t wait to go back.

I’m not the biggest fan of the Cheesecake Factory to begin with, but I stopped by with a friend for lunch earlier last week. We were seated upstairs and got our bread and water relatively fast, and I ordered the Louisiana Chicken Pasta, which is usually pretty good(out of Cheesecake Factory offerings). Unfortunately, I was really surprised and unhappy with how salty the dish was. I couldn’t decide whether I just misremembered how the sauce was supposed to taste, or they had oversalted my dish. Overall, not the best lunch experience in the world and will probably go back to avoiding the Cheesecake Factory for another year. My friend did seem to like her Oreo cheesecake though!

We took our 12 yr old to the cheesecake factory for dinner. It was her choice for her birthday dinner. What a really nice restaurant. It’s a huge restaurant so I’m glad it wasn’t rush hour. We may not have ever gotten our food. Not that it was slow, but when there is a rush it can be a long experience. That wasn’t the case though. We had a wonderful dining evening. Our bartender was very funny and her drinks were tasteful, not watered down. She served us herself and was very personable. We had potstickers and chicken wontons for appetizers and both were very good. We were going to order another order of the wontons but wanted to save room for our entrees. And as for the entrees, big portions. I got the American burger, 13oz cooked medium, it was perfect. My wife ordered Beef medallions that were wonderfully cooked and my daughter got a pasta dish, both were off the skinny menu. Great concept, the skinny menu. It’s for folks that are watching what they eat and calorie counting. My in laws also were very pleased with their entrees too. All in all we had a good time. .

The wait for brunch on a Sunday was no problem for me and a gf. It is so spacious at this location and love it!!! We put in my name and got called within 2 minutes of doing so. Our server gave us the complimentary bread and butter(so delish), and there is so much on the menu that it took forever for me to decide… so came the rescue of our server. He was so personable and funny, had to tip him well!!! I was debating between two salads and he suggested the BBQ salad. So that’s what I did and could not be any happier! I may add they need a bit more dressing though. Sangria was the only thing lacking here. It was by strong, tasted like a Virgin sangria. Not worth the $ 11 or $ 13 I spent.

Did you know the founders of Cheesecake factory created Grand Lux in Downtown Chicago? If you’ve been to both, you can tell there is some relations. Most of their food is frozen if you weren’t aware of that. We asked about a couple items on their menu and they said they couldn’t change it anyway because it’s «ready made» or something. The food is delicious though! I just feel kinda sad that I’m paying a lot for frozen food. Service was above average. Our waiter did a great job of checking up on us and offering suggestions. She knew the menu very well because she knew what can and can’t be modified to our liking. HUGEHUGE space! You can bring groups here and have a good time in their neat ambiance. Yes I’d come back! But it wouldn’t be on the top of my list.

I admit to this being my first time at The Cheesecake Factory. On a girls night out, we met for an appetizer and glass of wine before heading to a play at Northlight Theatre. It was extremely crowded, but we still managed to get right in, and our server was right there ready to take our order. Aiming for a light bite, and completely overwhelmed by the beyond ginormous menu, for some reason my eyes landed on the Southern Fried Chicken Sliders. I figured it would be fairly small, so I added fries for $ 1 for all of us to share. Holy chicken! The appetizer portion was a legitimate meal. Take note, the portions are huge here, and I had no idea what to expect. I also expected my chicken to be pretty basic, but can I just tell you? I enjoyed every bite, and it was so good I fought hard to finish it. The plate came out with sliders piled high and a huge portion of fries. It was really pretty hilarious. The chicken was tender and lightly crispy with a nice buttermilk batter. The buns were toasted with butter(yep, pretty rich), and the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. I fully admit that I’m craving the chicken right now. I eat a lot of chicken, and I have to say this was a memorable meal… and I mean meal. Yep, I’d go back again, and it’s an ideal location to stop before a show at the North Shore Center of The Performing Arts.

There is a long line but my friend and I almost have waited for no time before we got seated. That is probably because we only have two persons but most guests are waiting for larger tables. The complimentary bread is the best I have had in any restaurant, especially the dark one. We ordered the pasta with shrimp and sausage and the red velvet cheesecake. We are really really full after we finished the shared pasta, but the cheesecake is so good with different layers! It is huge and I did feel very guilty after I finished it. I would definitely try the«skinny menu» next time.

I must have eaten here ten times but never have I enjoyed the place so much. I asked the maitre de and two other servers whether they prefer the Tuscan Chicken over other entrees. All of them said to get the Tuscan Chicken; now I know why. It started with grilled, moist chicken which was covered with grilled cherry tomatoes, capers, broccoli, artichokes and fresh basil. The entire menagerie was doused in a balsamic vinaigrette. The dish was filling despite being under 600 calories. My sons could not finish their Cashew Chicken, so out of the goodness of my heart, I cleaned up after them. Their dishes were very well prepared, but much heavier. Nothing Lo-cal about them. As always, the environment was festive and fun. I love the high ceilings, ceiling frescos and colored, spiral sconces. The service was fairly good for a busy Sunday night, our waitress was a pleasure.

I know that Cheesecake Factory is a chain, but this particular location was minutes from my place and a convenient restaurant to choose after a day at the mall. From the Pasta category, I usually get the Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic(it contains bow-tie pasta, chicken, mushrooms, tomato, pancetta, peas, caramelized onions, all in a roasted garlic-parmesan cream sauce — the pasta is usually cooked al dente, and the sauce is very thick and creamy, and very savory with the pancetta cubes, peas, and the caramelized onions); Shrimp with Angel Hair(large shrimp sauteed with herbs, lemon, and garlic, combined with angel hair pasta, tomato, and basil — the shrimp is deveined and comes with tail on — they are succulent and great with the light side of angel hair pasta; the herb sauce is very nice and has a slight tang from the lemon); or their Luau Salad(grilled chicken breast, mixed greens, cucumbers, green onions, red and yellow peppers, green beans, carrots, mango and crisp wontons, macademia nuts, sesame seeds, all dressed in a vinaigrette — the salad is very fresh, and I love the combination of the crispy wontons with the mix of the green beans, carrots, and the chicken; this also comes in ½ portion during lunch). My favorite cheesecake of all time is their Pumpkin Cheesecake — it is only available from October through the holidays — we always order it ahead of time so we can enjoy it during Thanksgiving — it is creamy, and has a wonderful pumpkin flavor throughout — not too sweet, but quite decadent and a great way to finish up the meal. Service can be a hit-or-miss, as during the lunch and the dinner rushes can be a bit chaotic. +brown bread with soft butter(complimentary) +Luau Salad +Shrimp Scampi +Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic +Pumpkin Cheesecake

Saturday we were invited to lunch by our friends to The Cheesecake Factory in Old Orchard. It was good to spend time enjoying the company and the food. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance. The food was pretty good. I had the herb encrusted salmon w/mashed potatoes & asparagus spears. Our friend also ordered a side dish for the table of pasta carbonara(delicious heart stopping food). The cheesecakes looked very good too, but unfortunately I didn’t leave any room for dessert. Probably just as well as I don’t need to gain more weight. The herb encrusted salmon — 4 stars Mashed potatoes — 3 Stars Asparagus — was good, but only 4 asparagus spears(come on) — 2 Stars The food is decent the ambiance is nice.

Tonight my son Nick asked me where I’d like to go for dinner, and honestly the first place that popped into my mind was the Cheesecake Factory. And, the last time I was here was almost 2 years ago on Nick’s 28th Birthday and it holds special memories for me. Now, people have stated that the Cheesecake Factory is a major tourist trap, well then, the fact that I love the Cheesecake Factory as much as I do must make me the biggest tourist of all, Lord knows I definitely take enough pictures! Tonight upon entering my son and I saw crowds of people downstairs and upon the stairwell just waiting so we knew we’d be in for a wait for a table. We approached the hostess stand and we were given a 30 minute wait time, but actually we were called in about 20 minutes… We had a lovely little booth with a great server named Sarah, and we were asked if we would like a bread basket. yes, please! But in all honesty the bread basket size has shrunk to include only 2 small pieces of bread, which was okay because the bread was freshly baked and still warm… Nick ordered Mac and Cheese Balls which he loved, and I ordered their Signature Dish of Chicken Madeira, and let me tell you, this is a Signature Dish for a good reason, Tender Chicken Breasts with Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes in a Wine Sauce to die for. well, not literally, hopefully. And, yes, dessert had to consist of a piece of Banana Cream Cheesecake for myself and Key Lime for my son Nick… So, another great night at the Cheesecake Factory, and they are worth the wait everytime, even if they are a tad pricey! I love this place, and that will never change. Because I have great memories of this place, and am looking forward to many more…
