Stopped by for first time and wanted a small burrito. Price was $ 4.99 for an 8 inch. I chose pork. The flavor was good with beans rice tomatoes lettuce and onion but if there was any type of meat I sure didn’t run across it. The taste was good but no meat even if it was the wrong one is a no no in my book. I was the only one there at 3pm. I’ll try one more time was it’s just blocks from my home… I love MEAT… NEEDMEAT

Their food is ok. Tacos are good, tortas are not the best. My husband got diarrhea and my stomach got really upset after eating there a few days back.

Skip the box joints hit up the Taqueria! Fast and delicious period! The reason for four stars is they wrapped the burritos perfectly. Stayed together the whole time I was eating that bad boy!

I love this place! They have excellent vegetarian burritos! And they always remember me and know exactly what I want! Good, authentic Mexican food.

I’ve finally found good Mexican food here! Cute little hole in the wall with great food and great service. I had the Cubana with rice and beans. Great rice and beans and even better sandwich. My boyfriend had the large burrito and large doesn’t begin to cover how big that burrito actually was. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Now whenever I’m craving Mexican food, there’s at least one place that I know of that won’t disappoint!

They would not take the coupon offered in Unilocal for 25% off of a $ 40 order. They stated it wasn’t authorized. It seemed fishy so we Walked and did not order from them. They could have had a. customer if they would have honored it.

Well, we tried to eat here. They offered a «check-in special» through Unilocal. The food looked good but I’ve used Unilocal for business and they don’t put that offer there unless you specifically agree to it. They claimed to know nothing about it and wouldn’t honor it. Just a tip to the business; if it’s the middle of dinner hours, there’s not a single person in your restaurant and some people come in willing to spend $ 40, turning them away is a bad idea for the longevity of your business. You must have very tight profit margins if you’re willing to give up business rather than honor a deal requiring a certain amount be spent. We only came to try your restaurant because of that offer. If we’d liked you, we would have come back frequently and told our friends

This place sucks. It was super expensive. You have to buy separate bottled or canned drinks. They didn’t even have chips and salsa as a place like this should. The food came on a plate with JUST what you ordered, no garnish, no beans/rice, etc. I will never go back.

From the reviews, I was expecting something really authentic tasting.(I moved here from San Diego and Los Angeles so I’ve been spoiled.) It didn’t taste authentic at all. My burrito was really wimpy, I could make it better at home. The flour tortilla could have been from Safeway. I expected it to have been handmade. I gave them an additional star b/c the hot sauce was decent.

Food is pretty good but expensive. The Cubana is delicious. Also they don’t provide you with enough napkins which is annoying because you’re paying a hot penny for something cheap and they want to give you one napkin. And the drink isn’t included.

Good street tacos, their tortas are not the best I’ve had, kinda bland. I do enjoy their spicy sauce, it’s really good on the tacos. Prices are really cheap so that’s nice. I’ll come back and try the enchiladas and huaraches, maybe tortas just aren’t their thing.

Tucked back from the street, it is worth the search. I had the spicy pork sandwich, the taste was excellent and though it was spicy, it was not overwhelming. Washed it down with a bottle(real glass) of Coke. Highly recommend this lunch spot.

I moved here from Southern California a couple years ago and this is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Washington. If you want something real where you won’t get ripped off come here

Awesome food! Wait can be a little long at times but totally worth it if you aren’t in a hurry. Tacos and tortas are amazing!

This place is great. I ordered the huaraches and a spicy pork torta. Both items were very fresh tasting. This place is an absolute treat and I will have this place on my mind each time I travel down Avenue D from here on out.

This place is very good. I get the Asada torta and it is awesome. I keep trying to talk myself into trying something different because they have lots on the menu that sounds good, but just love the Asada. The lady behind the counter is very friendly and appreciative of my business which is always a huge plus.

Not up to my standards. I like my tacos with a few slices of fresh radish. This place is so depressing. The actually name on the outside is Taqueria la botana. Their beef was so dry from reheating. I ordered 3 tacos, a jarritos, and one 10in beef burrito and they charged me something like $ 11.87. I don’t know how it can come out to be that considering it was only $ 5.50 for their 3 taco and drink combo and $ 3.99 for a beef burrito. I even tipped on top of that. Shame on me for not paying enough attention to when they overcharged me.

A small authentic grocery and mexican restaurant. The things I like are the Tamales, sandwiches and burritos. All are inexpensive, tasty and a great value The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and bright as well A gem in Snohomish.

First impressions is that it is a small and simple restaurant, but after you sample the food, your perception changes… Some of the most authentic mexican food in the area The owners are from Morelos outside of Mexico City. They bring with them some of the best tasting mexican food. The menu is small and simple, but it is worth sampling. They are known for their huge sandwiches and their tacos, but don’t forget to try their enchiladas and burritos. A must if you are in the Snohomish area.

This is my favorite place to eat. The Cubana sandwich is excellent, tacos are awesome, Huaraches(excellent). Never had a bad meal at this place. The owners are incredible. They serve you and cook the food. He told me that each of their tortas(sandwich with fresh bread) are from different regions near Mexico City where he is from. I want more business for this place, so the owners stay in business. They used to have a little grocery store in the place. Now there are more tables. You will love this place if you like authentic mexican. I agree with Michael. Hidden gem.
