I have to say, I’ve been in sales and service for 12 years and I cannot imagine this happening at any job I’ve ever had. Got home from work late last night. Didn’t want to cook, or wait for delivery. So I hopped back in the car and headed to Subway.(I checked the hours before I left) I arrived at 9:20PM. Before the door was closed, the young man sitting on his cell phone said, «We Closin.» My reply was, «Oh, I looked at the clock on the wall(9:23PM), then looked at the door to read the hours of operation… Still 10PM. I was too bewildered to even get mad, so all I said was, «Don’t you close at 10?» His reply, «Yeah, we closin» «But, it’s 9:20!!!» «Yeah, we closin…» Knowing that if i pressed the issue I may end up with hair in my food I left. Went to the Subway near Kappy’s and received better than excellent service. I’ll never visit this store again.

This is a *great* Subway. They always do a great job loading up my veggie sub with plenty of veggies! Employees take their time with your subs and don’t rush them like Subways in more congested areas. The inside is extremely clean and the employees are very polite. I wish every Subway was this nice. If you’re tired of rushed subs that are hardly a meal, stop by this Subway and see how thing should be done.

Gotta love Subway… Eat Fresh! This Subway opened up a month-or-so ago. I’ve gone twice now and it’s true to Subway form, i.e. tasty-fresh-cheap goodness. The staff are very polite, albeit amateurs compared to the assembly line beasts you’ll get at a Subway in downtown Manhattan, but hey, they’re putting some love into your sandwich here! There is very limited seating inside(about four seats total) but Powderhouse Park is right across the street with some good shady benches for enjoying your sub. I like that this Subway is new — it’s all sparkly and squeaky-clean. If you’re in the habit of driving to get Subway, then you’ll be happy to know there’s lots of free 2-hr parking on College Ave and a few metered spots, too. It’s right next to Tufts’ campus too if you’re in the mood for a walk down memory lane. A for effort, A for execution, A for being in my backyard.
