This place smell unclean, it had a weird smell… food was not appetizing… was not that great either…1st and last time… I traveled half hour because it has a 3 ½ star… if possible I will give them a –1 star… we had to asked for water twice. I have seem better buffets that this one… Awful

For $ 6 you get what you pay for. Some of the servers were decent but others can be very brash and should just be left mopping floors. Like I said, the décor is cheap, wooden chairs and tables mostly although you cannot argue with the value you’re getting for decent tasting food. Now onto the food: They do have a small selection for sushi, but don’t expect the quality of the sushi to exceed passed mediocre. They do have a lot of western/soul foud such as baked clams, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and breaded scallops along with your«eastern» Pseudo-Chinese style food such as orange chicken, lo mein, boneless spare ribs. As for the desserts they have wide variety of cookies and cakes. The food is decent and is able to satisfy you for the day. I gave this joint 3 stars because of the value you get for food. If you and your buddies are looking for a cheap and quick feast then I definitely suggest coming here. P. S. The bathrooms were surprisingly very clean for such a low end place.

I am baffled and shocked at this restaurant’s 3.5 star rating. I am not a picky eater and of course, I don’t expect much from a Chinese buffet. However, the food here is below average– probably worse than the food you would get from a dingy Chinese take-out place. The options of food choices you have are rather underwhelming, and the quality of the food is even more underwhelming. First of all, the Kimchi they offered was mixed with Italian dressing. But why?! I am not really sure as to what type of concoction they were going for, but that’s NOT kimchi. Out of the little choices of food offered, the best would probably be their fried chicken. However, it doesn’t make sense to come to a Chinese buffet for its fried chicken. The stuffed clams were too soggy, the regular clams were cooked with an unusual sauce that just DIDNOT taste good. The list can go on but I’m sure my point has been made already. In terms of the atmosphere of the restaurant, nothing made the environment seem«oriental». They had a total of two paintings hung on the walls– one with horses frolicking around and one with a random house on a lawn. The lack of decorations were rather depressing and you probably wouldn’t be able to tell it was a Chinese restaurant if it wasn’t called«China Buffet». All in all, do not come here because it is «cheap». With a couple extra dollars, you can probably get a better meal elsewhere.

Gone there for lunch a couple times. The inside looks better than the outside. For such a low cost buffet they seem to stay a float by keeping it simple. There’s no Hibachi grill and very limited Japanese/American dishes. It’s a relatively small selection of food, the majority what you’d see from any typical Chinese take out lunch/appetizer menu. There were maybe 4 repeated broccoli dishes with different meats(of standard quality). Yet I did appreciate the home style butter cabbage, baked salmon, braised beef, and stuffed clams. Scoop ice cream is always a nice touch. I only questioned the freshness of certain seafood offerings. Good value considering it cost the same as a value meal at McDonald’s. I feel no need to eat until bloated. Not that I would though. I personally get tired of Chinese American take out after a couple bites. ie. General Tso’s chicken. Some side notes. Old school Chinese karaōke blasts from the party room on Tuesday. As expected you pay extra for drinks besides water. Hot tea came with a pot with an Oolong tea bag.

Came here with a group of friends and we had a good time. The food wasn’t too expansive, if fact it was very affordable. The food quality wasn’t that great though… specifically the dishes with crab in them. There was also a strange smell in the restaurant.

An incredible value and all I eat here is the sushi. OK it’s not Japanese restaurant quality sushi but for a Chinese buffet restaurant., they have an amazing selection of sushi. I may have missed it among the other sauces, but I would have liked it more if they had spicy mayo. While I didn’t have the Chinese food, I did notice that they had many. many selections. I had green tea ice cream for dessert and it really tasted like vanilla. That was disappointing.

I went there for dinner on a Thursday night and was not impress. For the price, I really can’t complain. There weren’t a big selection of food choices. Highlight for me was the watermelon and green tea ice cream. Unfortunately I won’t be going back there again.

We went around 10 pm on a Saturday so, ok, a bit late, but they had no food out! Just a few things and those were mostly old and dried out! We would have just left but we were super hungry and just made the most of it. Also the music from the private room was ridiculously loud!!!

Beyond a good value with the varied selection on food offered– Chinese style, Japanese, pizza, small selection of house salads, fresh cut fruit and 5 – 6 flavors of ice cream. Prices are approximately $ 11 for dinner, $ 6 for lunch.

It’s only right that in your lifetime your family had that«go-to» Chinese Buffet spot. China Buffet on Park Ave was that place for my family growing up, and somehow someone in my extended family still manages to hold a family gathering here years later. I can honestly say that from my middle school and high schools years when I was more a frequent CB visitor, my food palate and standards have evolved in those 10 – 12 years. I was only hopeful to think that places like this would just improve as well too, after all, don’t we want to better ourselves as we get older? Having to attend a relative’s 11-year old birthday here yesterday, sadly, but surprisingly not, things have not changed since I have last stepped foot in here. The carpet, the party room, the garlic bread, the sad bathroom. But with that said my favorites years ago, had not failed me yesterday. The steamed white fish, the green beans, and sauteed mustard greens. The chicken wings were better than I had remembered them and their selection of sushi had expanded. My only disappointment was the lost of a soft serve machine. What blasphemy to install a freezer and to scoop your own ice cream. Looking back on it now, if this place wasn’t in my hometown, so close to wear many of my family is located, something my family had picked, I would not make my way out to come here.

It’s a Chinese buffer with the usual offerings. Nothing to rave about. Wait staff is very active so the cups stay full and tables clean. Price keeps the place packed during lunch. I gave it 3 stars because there are better buffets in the area.

Like others have said, I do not know how this place makes money. They have whole Dungeness Crabs and king crab legs! That alone makes the $ 11 for dinner worth it. I am a huge seafood fan so I was in heaven when I saw the dungenous crabs. They only allow one cracker per table — just fyi. In addition, it’s BYOB — we brought a bottle of wine and they happily gave us wine glasses, which was nice. This buffet is definitely a local spot… maybe not in the best area but I was pleasantly surprised when I went in. Like its plain given name, this a no-frills buffet. No Mongolian stir-fry here. There’s sushi options and your usual Chinese food offerings. They have raw oyster but this is not the place to try it. Added points for offering green tea ice cream. We fed a family of 6 for $ 86(dinner buffet plus 2 cokes).

We generally like this place. In fact, it’s our go to spot when we have a Chinese food craving. All the food is always tasty and at a reasonable price however, I got a small bout with food poisoning this week after eating there. I mainly ate the sushi this week. It hit me in almost 24 hours. A word of caution should you choose to eat here on a Friday night… the party room is often loud. I haven’t decided whether or not I will eat here again.

I ate here in July 2001, and two additional times since then, the latest being in January 2013. Good selection of entrees, salads, and desserts in the all you can eat buffet area. Food was hot and tasted very good. Price for lunch when I was there in January 2013(price for Monday to Thursday lunch) was a stunning $ 4.99 per person. I don’t how they can make much money at that price. My wife and I both ordered cokes in a can, but got coke in glass with ice. Not a big thing, so we drank it as it came.

They have everything from shrimp, pizza, General Tso’s, and Dungenous crabs and king crab legs. i love the place! They tidy up the place. I’ve seen some nasty buffets and this place is great overall especially when you’re paying such low price. if you want more than what this place offers then go to a place where you’ll pay more.
