Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Bummmmeeeeedddd. They seem to have gotten rid of the junior size breakfast wrap and the add any smoothie option, which used to keep my meal around $ 5. So today I spent $ 9 and wasn’t thrilled. The woman at the drive through was VERY nice and patient with me, so I’ll give them that… But overall, I’m pretty bummed.
Also, I got a copy of their to-​go menu to keep in my car because I usually have a baby in the car and don’t want to get out. But they don’t list ANY PRICES on the menu. That seems foolish and counter productive. I know this all sounds pretty cheap, but when you’re on a family budget, you’d like to find the best way to make the pennies stretch.

I’m a big Tropical Smoothie fan and was happy to see another location added in South Portland. I’ve found the service in this location to be better than the other, much faster (wait time less than 10 minutes from start to finish) and consistent.
TS is a little pricey when you take the time to consider what’s in your smoothie (fruit, ice, yogurt, etc.), but it’s a great meal on the go!
