So, my experience with Big Lots is a mixed bag, but honestly, for the price you can’t go wrong. I recently purchased some Ashley furniture and a few nightstands there and although service was ultimately very slow, everyone who did help was extremely friendly and thorough. I do not however recommend the third party delivery service that they offer which is called Select Express. Avoid it at all costs! If you are willing to rent a U-Haul or truck from Home Depot for a day then that is definitely the way to go. The delivery option that is offered via Big Lots cost me $ 150 for a sofa going approx. 1 mile but they did not schedule me for the day that I was promised and it was over 6 hours late…
