First — as a precursor to this review, I’ve searched high and low for a place that could care for my «higher end» duds and have yet to find such an establishment in existence… Let it be known that I’m not usually a sucker for gimmicks, but I was lured in to this cleaner by the appealing«free pick up & delivery» service they so adamantly advertise. Silly me! My first experience, the cleaning bill for a cashmere thigh length sweater came in at a whopping $ 20! Granted it was a «special care» garment, but man! I paid it happily since being a mom to three toddlers makes it pretty difficult to get out and about freely for the smaller things in life. The delivery was on time(to say the least) and I was even provided a sleek branded nylon laundry bag with a personalized ID tag, which was a very nice touch as well. Oh yea! I was given a door hook(wreath hanger) for my garments also! Very nice perk! Since I specifically requested that upon delivery they hang it at my back patio door — mind you it was freely accessible — where I have almost all of my deliveries made; imagine my surprise when I get home to see my garments hanging right on my front door for the taking!!! Ugh — totally not a good first impression, although they did do a pretty good job with the sweater… I left it alone and just mentioned that emphasis be placed on delivery/pick up location for future reference… Was told: «duly noted.» Fast forward a month and a large pile amassed from my escapades with two year olds and I decided to give it another go… BIG mistake! I dropped off the clothing, which consisted of three dresses(one knee length & two were maxi-dresses), three pair of Capri length pants(1 pair were tencel, 1 pair cargo/linen blend, & one pair were silk/rayon), and 4 shirts(1 white linen, 2 denim, and another silk) — a total of 10 items in all. I requested extra care for the tencel pants and the silk items and it was recommended that a «no sizing» tag be placed. Not once was it explained to me what that was — other than a starch product. I agreed to NOSTARCH. I explained I would pick the items up — for them not to be delivered. Okay fantastic! Great see you in a couple days… Upon pickup, I observed the chick at the counter bring my clothing out and my dresses — although sealed in a bag — were dragging the floor to which she stepped on. I asked for the total and it was a whopping $ 120! Jesus Christ! This bundle of clothing better look and smell brand damn new! Nope, not at all… Not only do the dresses smell as if they were never cleaned, there is a tacky little barcode I later found upon unpacking it ironed onto a friggin’ $ 250 dress that I’m extremely attached to!!! Umm excuse me — who the heck gave you permission to do that??? Not to mention you have now damaged my clothing by also placing a safety pin through material that you shouldn’t have and as a result has 2 holes in it and is now torn… I seriously don’t recall you asking me if it was alright to alter my clothing. I sure hope this review gets noticed. My couple attempts at reaching someone in your store has fallen on deaf ears… No Bueno MW — no Bueno. At the end of the day, the presentation is nice, but that’s all it is — a display or rather a dog & pony show. To pay that much for the care of high end clothing — or ANY clothing for that matter — I expect a whole heck of a lot more from a professional dry cleaner. Needless to say — unless my dress is replaced and the rest of my clothing is cleaned appropriately, I cannot imagine ever trusting anything to them — ever again! At this point I’m even contemplating escalating this further…

I am a bridesmaid in a friend’s upcoming wedding. When I got my dress in, it was quite wrinkled and I called a few places to get prices for a press. MW Cleaners told me it cost $ 5.15 to clean a dress and if it’s just a press it would be «4 something» because you get a 20% discount. I took my dress in, and when I picked it up today I was told my total was $ 9.48.(Not a fortune, but when you were told it would cost half that, it’s a bit upsetting.) I told the cashier that I was told it would cost around $ 5.00, and she told me «Well, dresses start at like $ 9.00 or $ 10.00.» She wasn’t exactly rude, but she certainly wasn’t friendly from the moment I walked in the door. She brought my dress out(which is strapless, but has the straps for hanging it on the inside), and it was hung up using a hanger for pants. This is NOT the hanger I brought the dress in on, and as I suspected the pants hanger left creases in my freshly pressed dress! Luckily they’re not so bad that I need to get it pressed again, but I can say that I will absolutely not be using this MW Cleaners again. I thought taking it to a big name chain like this would be a lower risk than taking it to a place I’m not familiar with, but I was wrong. I would recommend using this location with caution… if you use them at all.
