Moe’s Place is one of the few unknown land marks in Springfield. This local restaurant/bar is kept hidden away almost going unseen but catches the eye of those who are meant to enter. Stumbling upon this rare gem was delightful. The reason being was their service made me feel at home. This family owned family ran business has over 25 years of costumers service and treated me as a regular. Upon entering you see a mosaic mural of the one and only Marilyn Monroe and greeted by the family. The food was delicious and the company was even better. Not to mention they poor a heavy drink. I entered alone and walked out knowing I had a place. Shout out to Nadia and Zena you girls are the gems of Moe’s Place. Thank you.

Moe’s has been our favorite place to go out and eat and socialize for many years! We have Mina who treats us like family! Norman who has been here 26 years and makes the most incredible breakfast!!! NOW we have Chef Naji who can deliver the most amazing dinner specials in Springfield!!! Absolutely every dinner I have had has been 5 star!!! Shrimp Scampi, Crab cakes, Ribeye, Ahi Tuna and grape salad! I am always excited to see what his specials are! Watch out Springfield there is a new kid in town!!!

I can’t breathe, but I think I love this place. If not for the HDTVs everywhere I’d think I stepped back 50 years. Having breakfast at the bar while my car is in the shop. Good diner food at fair prices, everyone knows everyone and if they don’t know you as «Mr. Bob» you’re «honey.» According to the sign they have open mic blues on Sunday which is awesome. Smoking is still allowed, which knocks a star off for me personally, but I don’t begrudge smokers their dives. This is Murrica. No, literally, this bar is Murrica.

Moe’s is the local neighborhood/biker bar. Everyone pretty much knew each other in there. They serve typical greasy spoon fare. I had country ham, grits, scrambled eggs w/cheese and some good olé fashioned sweet iced tea. Everything was delicious and it came out super fast. There are 2 cooks working one grill and you can tell they’ve been together for years. You can actually see the grill from your seat at the bar. Don’t get it twisted, Moe’s is NOT a destination for date night but if you’re in the hunt for something to satisfy your hunger, this will more than do!

Absolutely the best people work there and own the place. The food is downhome cooking and delicious. The owner takes really good care of her customers. It has all regulars. We will always go back when in the area!

I usually would have never entered a place that is named after or connects itself to Moe’s Tavern from the Simpsons, a show that was my childhood… That’s not sad is it? Anyway, I would have never gone here if not for my brother who was all for it and said he had tried it before, having loved the food. We went and I ordered the Western Omelet. While he ordered some sandwich that I can’t recall. My assessment of this place really just started when I took that first bite, as it triggered something in my subconscious that said«This is a dirty restaurant» Then I started looking around and got a peek at the kitchen… It didn’t look pretty. Lets just say the dishwasher didn’t seem to be on duty… for 24 hours. That alone turned me off pretty good, but I finished my food for my brother’s sake. I went to the bathroom and I don’t know if it was because someone had just gone number two there, or something just plain died in there but it stank. I don’t think it had proper ventilation. I wouldn’t give this place more than two stars but I have to say, despite possibly being dirty beyond reason, the food was good so for that they get an extra star. Oh and did I mention they have a Kareoke bar? It’s a wonder how I still found their food good after seeing the dirt around me and then being tortured by some slightly overweight guy singing«My way»

Worst place I’ve ever been to. Dirty, dirty customers and dirty atmosphere. Mc Donald’s breakfast is better.

Used to be a regular there, but no more. The place is infested with ROACHES, even showing up on the bar! If they’re on the bar and in the john, they’re everywhere. The place needs to be sealed up and bombed for bugs.

Went w/my parents this Sunday. My mom had been dying to try this place out as she heard that they«have a great bfast/brunch». Ok…the food was good. I got the BLT which hit the spot– it actually had fresh tomatoes& they had flavor! Mom got the western omelet-great omelet.(I’ll prob get one next time). Dad got the french toast, which was good… nothing special tho. Yes it is a lil hole in the wall, dive restaurant but go and try this family own place! They also have karaōke during the week.

Cheap, filling, convenient breakfast buffet! Staff is really friendly. Divey, but delicious. I suggest putting the cinnamon apples over the french toast!

This place is pretty good — not blow your doors off outstanding — but solid. Service was very good. Prices were decent except for coffee.(I get heartburn at two bucks for a cup of coffee at a diner. But that’s just me.) I got the Greek omelet and the wife got the pork chop and eggs. Again — decent. Other reviews calling it a dive are correct. A few old dudes day drinking, others at a few tables. Will we go back? Maybe. But it would be after we were tired of our other haunts and just wanted to change it up.

Warped drive into Springfield’s only Dive! I’ve been in the neighborhood for over thirty years, and can’t remember if this place came before my arrival or after! It’s longevity notwithstanding, and the many visits I’ve made there over the years — I for the life of me cannot understand its endurance in serving the community and it’s alleged popularity. Despite Northern Virginia Magazine’s Warren Rojas’ somewhat riveting review turning the pages ever so slowly of this eatery’s regular patrons and Reese Hercher’s straight-up no frills insights, not to mention the lack of ‘general’ public to visit and write-up anything worthwhile on the likes of Urbanspoon, Unilocal and others — let alone anything at all, I have come to the conclusion that only the ‘so-called’ regulars and an occaisional can appreciate this dive for its convenient location, friendly staff, nostalgic yet and unmistakably time warped in some lost space time continuum or fourth dimension that this place exudes! Over the years, giving PP the benefit of the doubt, I have had most everything on their menu visiting at differing times of the day, evening or week, visit after visit — and have found few and far between samplings of redeeming value, taste worthiness or enjoyed a clean, hygienic and appealing place to eat. PP’s got great staff and Moe’s a nice guy, but I think many of us in the community would like to see some enhancements, consistency and value so we can actually be regulars as opposed to occaisional experimenters.

This place is cool. Total hole in the wall. Reminds me of West Baltimore, Washington Blvd. The people here have more teeth though.

Great little place that was near my hotel. An affordable, no-frills breakfast and fast, personable service. My coffee cup was never empty, and as a southerner, I will confirm that the grits were of perfect consistency. I got just what I needed to begin my day. I noted that this little place has been around for over 40 years. Has a real«Cheers”-where-everybody-knows-your-name kind of feel to it.
