I am so sad this restaurant closed! It had great food and the servers were helpful and friendly. One of the few places on Main Street with interesting food. Sad.

Found this place on Unilocal,a bonus that it is located in the historic Saint Charles district. Chose several small sharing plates which were all delicious: Pistachio encrusted scallops, lobster fritters, toasted zucchini sticks, steamed black mussels & salmon carpaccio. Great service from a friendly staff.

Pretty good food. No complains! Not the best I’ve ever had but pretty good. I would go back and try a few other times before rating this restaurant five stars. The service was quick, friendly and very efficient. The food was hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken orzo which came with a perfectly toasted piece of garlic bread. The combination was great. The chicken wasn’t very good though, it seemed like the chicken you get when you go to subway and they take the chicken out of hot water. The orzo itself had an excellent creamy taste. I got $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food deal through Unilocal and that was great savings! If you are near the area and want to try something different I would definitely try this spot.

Came in during the Festival of Little Hills because we wanted something tasty(non-festival food) to eat. Atmosphere is very nice and gave a great first impression. Staff was excellent throughout, friendly and attentive. I was a little disappointed by the food presentation. The Gyro’s were wrapped in paper as if from a deli for a take order and both meals were served on plastic plates. The meal itself was tasty but nothing amazing. The baklava was very tasty but served with plastic forks on a plastic plate. Overall, this is a nice plate with not bad food but the presentation does not go with the resturant atmosphere. Cheaper presentation vs nicer resturant atmosphere. Honestly, we left feeling a little disappointed.

Great service, awesome recommendations from our waitress. The spinach pie and three cheese gratin appetizers were amazing and their new signature drinks were very good. It doesn’t hurt that the weather was great out on their brick enclosed garden patio.

Friends and I are new in town and had been shopping at the St Louis mall and were looking for a place to grab a bite. After checking out reviews, we finally wandered our way into this quaint little town. It was around 5pm so the restaurant was pretty quiet but we made up for it with our loud banter. We chose to sit indoor since we had been out and about the whole day and our server, Pano, kept us entertained the whole time through and gave us advice on the best options on the menu Spinach pie(perfectly tangy/crispy/soft), goat cheese crostini(SO creamy, but not overwhelming), tzatziki with grilled pita(holy hell, the pita was so delicious, we got extra), chicken kababs with spinach/arugula and greek rice(nom… by now we were getting full but couldn’t resist the typical kabab dish). Ended up treating ourselves to some tiramisu — and although you can never really go wrong with tiramisu, this was the fluffiest/lightest one I have had so far. So five stars for food, but what I loved even more in this restaurant is that welcoming feeling and being taken care of the entire time!

My first visit to this well reviewed Greek restaurant/bar was just ok. I enjoyed the live music, the friendliness of the staff and the drink selection. Overall, I would categorize Eros as a decent bar with a patio, that’s in a great location, and serves some okay Greek food. We ordered a special sampler platter as an appetizer, the salmon dish and the traditional gyro(requested to be served open faced). Everything was delivered at once, the appetizer special was missing the falafel due to some ‘mixup in the kitchen’ and the gyro was not open faced. The quality of the food was just okay. We ordered 3 desserts to go, yes, we wanted to try multiple things from their menu, and even the desserts were just okay. I would go back if I were looking for a bar in downtown St. Charles with live music and was comfortable settling for a county fair quality gyro.

Nice little place on Main. Can’t believe I have lived in St. Charles City for damn near 2 years now and haven’t tried this place ’till now. Def one of the better places to eat on Main. Kinda pricy but I’d rather spend a little more here for better quality food. I love their sea scallops — those are my favorite to order. BF usually gets grilled chicken which I didn’t like quite so much. I was bummed that their tiramisu wasn’t to my liking but may be a matter of personal preference and not so much quality/recipe. The interior is simple yet classy and the patio is quite nice too. They have lots of different wines and some good beers to choose from too. I will probably be back again; we’ve already been twice. There’s still many other items I’d like to try from their menu!

On a beautiful day the patio is very relaxing. The tables are shaded by umbrellas and surrounded by planting a of herbs, veggies, and flowers. There is a definite«dive» vine, but the food more than makes up for it. We started off with the Roasted Red Pepper and Feta cheese dip with grilled pita. The pita were soft and the dip flavorful. We decided to try the chefs twist on the classic Gyro, the Gypsy Gyro. All the usual players… the tender, juicy lamb, soft pita, crunchy lettuce, but spicy BBQ sauce takes the place of the tzatziki. Add to that a healthy dose of hot Italian giardiniera, and you have a winner my friend. If you would prefer a Greek salad with your Gyro, instead of French fries, you have but to ask. All in all this was a peaceful and relaxing spot to dine after a busy day of boutique shopping. So, sit back, and relax in the shade with your favorite beverage and a plate O’ Greek.

This was my first visit. The service was excellent! The atmosphere was laid back every one that worked there seem to go out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves– including the owner. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. I had the special– Alaskan white fish, it was cooked perfect! Best Greek place in town! A must try if you enjoy fresh Greek food!

Pair this with a beautiful day, outdoor seating, and a belly full of yummy gyro and you have one happy gal on your hands! Also, used a Unilocal deal for the first time so I got all of this for a bargain! Go here now. You won’t regret it!

Delicious! Shared the red pepper and feta dip with warm grilled pita bread. Pita bread was warm and fresh. Husband went with the gyro, which smelled amazing. I had the Fisherman’s stew which did not skimp on the seafood! Our waiter was fantastic — the perfect balance of attentive but not annoying. I will definitely return!

We were driving from N. Carolina to Denver and decided to stop for a late dinner. The kitchen was closed, but the owner, Pepe, went back to the kitchen making us gyros & salads. Chris, the GM, and Allison, a server were welcoming, attentive, and charming. Great place, great food

This is a pretty nice place right on Main St of Historic St Charles. The manager is super nice, we usually go there in a group and she builds a package for us. We were there for the New Years and they reserved the best table in the bar. The one that faces the street and is a little secluded to get privacy and still be part of everything. The new year party here was awesome. A great DJ, good crowd and a lot of on the house props… Hats blow horns everything you can imagine. The servers and organizers were super friendly and kept the troublemakers at bay. The only thing I didn’t like about this place is that smoking was allowed inside. Not fun when you are a non smoker. Anyway beautiful and amazing, will keep returning.

Best Greek Food in 400 mile radius! Some of my personal favorites were the Moussaka and the Fisherman’s Stew. It’s hard to find good Greek in St. Louis/Saint Charles but this place is the BEST! The chef is amazing, great service and great food! I would give it 6 stars if I could.

I liked this spot on a sunny day in St Charles. We were walking by and took time to glance at the menu posted in the window and were scooped up by a very friendly waitress. Found our way to the back patio and found shade under an umbrella. Decided to split some small plates(fried zucchini — good, pistachio encrusted goat cheese — tiny servings, and house made hummus — yum!). Wife had some gyro meat on a Greek salad and found the meat to be tender and flavorful :) We split a bottle of sauvignon blanc which went well with lunch and I was tempted to have a single malt as I was surprised at the selections but seemed a bit heavy for such a warm day. I would say swing by for happy hour as the locations vibe feels more evening than lunch. The patio is on backside so no people watching like you can get at other locations on main street.
