I had a ridiculous experience with another lensware vendor that cost a lot of money for glasses that weren’t to prescription and I could not wear them. So, I went to the Barnes Vision Center to salvage the situation. It’s on the third level of the Center for Advanced Medicine — the same level you use to get from the parking garage to the Center for Advanced Medicine. Yeah, you’ve got to get through the parking garage, but once you walk over the bridge, you’re there. I took my two pairs of glasses in(This is the first time I’ve had wear-always-glasses.) with my new prescription from the ophthalmologist. They looked at the glasses. They looked at the prescription. And declared the frames could be used for this new prescription. They don’t create your glasses on-the-spot. They call when they’re done. Usually within a week. I’d rather have them correct than fast! Service is friendly and generous. When you go to retrieve your glasses, they have you put them on and read a card. .. so they know the lens is working. Welcome, warm, inviting. .. that’s what I can say about the Barnes Vision Center. And they do stupendous and exacting work!
