Organized an event with 30 people. .. Jason was extraordinarily helpful, upbeat and amazing. Everything promised was delivered fantastically: great room attendant and bar tender, endless food, clean bathrooms, spotless facility, etc. Pool table was great! Pizza was hot, thin crust with a wide variety of toppings. Fresh salad, cheesy quesadillas, fried ravioli — a huge hit! We didn’t want to leave. Our two-hours in the Palm Room flew by. Nice, friendly staff. Clean, fun environment. Great fun. Great price. Great time. I highly recommend!

If you need a late night dining option, buy a frozen pizza at Walmart; do not come here. The food is horrible. The pizza was obviously a frozen cheese pizza, which had toppings thrown on to order. The pizza was bland. The sauce tasted of nothing, and the cheese was a rubbery pile. The toasted ravioli were also obviously frozen and tasteless. The biggest problem we had was with the toasted ravioli. When the runner brought it to us and left, we noticed it was burnt. Not over-brown. This was a plate of charcoal briquettes. We took it back to the bar where it was ordered, only to have the bartender say, «Oh, s — .» That’s how burnt they were. The bartender was excellent and sent out another order, but this one was under-cooked. To the runner and cooks, if it’s burnt, DON’T SENDITOUT. *dope slap* It’s open late and has food, of a sort, but this place doesn’t deserve your money.

Fun place to go bowling at late night with friends! You may have to wait for a lane but they have a full bar so you can be entertained until then! Very cool place to go with friends or to double date! We came here with a bunch of friends after going to MX and seeing a movie. We all had a blast.

We went here for a corporate event, they did a great job accommodating our large group. Good service, clean facility, and the food was pretty good too.

Stopped by one evening, the place was very crowded and had a hipster vibe. Not very friendly or comfortable. Fancy bowling if you can get a lane.

A fun bowling alley downtown! I went in there with a group of three people to bowl a game and it was a lot of fun. It would’ve been even more fun with a bigger group because you can order food and have a little party right there in your booth. A very trendy hipster place so it’s perfect for downtown.

Its usually pretty fun there! Expensive though… a few games and some beers will cost about as much as dinner and drinks. Food is just ok. We always get food and wonder why afterwards. Nice location though since we live downtown!

This place is fun but overpriced. $ 10 for a small SMALL cocktail. Was not worth it. The guys working were friendly but never smiled.

The couches are torn and beyond«over used», the bowling screens barely work, lanes are glitchy, and the employees itchy and surly. While we had fun, it was all our own doing. This place needs a major overhaul and better help.

Stopped in around 11pm for a bite to eat after attending asms at the renaissance. This is one of those places where the staff seems so annoyed that you came in that they stare at you until you decide to order. Not welcoming at all. I ordered tacos, and my friend ordered the turkey club which she said was okay. Her food came out 10 minutes before mine which was a little weird. The chicken in my tacos were completely unseasoned, not really good at all. Once we had our food, the bartenders never came back over to see if we needed more napkins or water or anything. They were a little busy flirting with the blondes at the end of the bar. Bottom line: not so great service, less than desirable food with jacked up prices, I’d definitely skip this place.

I helped organize a 3 day conference with our«social night» at Flamingo Bowl. I worked with Gabe to setup a budget and schedule and he was the consummate professional. He knew how to structure the menu, what sort of space would work for the number of folks attending(30 in my case), and was on top of handling pricing and payment. The venue was great. Just the right size with plenty to do for everyone. Some folks took to the lanes like a bowling ball to pins, other hung out around the pool table. A few wanted to hang out and chat and there was a perfect amount of space to to just that without feeling excluded or being overwhelmed by the other activities. Our barkeep was incredibly nice and accommodating. The food was brought out at just the right time with plenty of options for everyone. If you’re looking for a nice place to hold your next shindig, Flamingo Bowl should be at the top of your list.

I was at Flamingo Bowl with a group of friends for a birthday party on 3÷14÷15. We had two lanes reserved for two hours, and we spent several hundred dollars on appetizers and drinks for our party of 10. We asked for a knife and some plates for a birthday cake that we’d brought in, but the wait staff refused. They said no outside drinks were allowed. It was a huge disappointment, and it’s the last time that we’ll take a large group there. Other than the issue with serving the cake, we had a lot of fun. Drinks were good, although the bartenders were slow.

First time there today & it was a great experience. Upon entering the place is small(8 lanes) & decorated very relaxing & cool. There is a very nice bar & the appetizers we ordered came fast & were very good. Fun experience & definitely will go again.

I’m not quite sure why so many people hate on Flamingo Bowl. Even my own roommates refuse to go there anymore because they believe the lanes are ‘rigged’. In other words, my roommates aren’t very good at bowling because Flamingo Bowl’s lanes are fine, if not better than fine. I say that because my very first experience resulted in one of my finer bowling scores, and to this day I won’t let that go. The prices are very reasonable and they even have some more cheaply priced drinks than you would find at bars next door. The only reason one may not love Flamingo Bowl is because of the size of the place. The size can either be a positive or a negative, since it is rather small. If you snag a lane you feel like you are bowling in a secluded, trendy bowling alley, but you will want to throw a 10 lb ball threw the window if all the lanes are taken. I will definitely be back here because of the closeness, the coolness, and to maintain my dominance. Good alley.

This place is looking pretty tired. The chairs are all scratched up, the fabric on the sofas is all torn and stained. Definitely in need of a renovation!

Came here for a work event. Our company reserved the Palm Room, which had tons of seating, a pool table, 4 private lanes, a private bar, and private restrooms. From the appearance of the room, it looked like the room was decently kept up. There was only about 20 of us, but the room could easily fit 40+. The bowling alleys had projector screens right above them, so you could watch a football game or anything on tv. The couches at the lanes were nice, and there were plenty of places to put food and drinks. There was a good drink selection and our bartender was very helpful. There were no issues with the pool table. It was well kept up with nothing missing. The bowling lanes were where the issues started. The first lane I bowled in, the balls would never return. We had to get maintenance to fix the issue, which took about 30 minutes. This happened more than once and in another lane also. I was a little disappointed. I mean this is a «private room» and for the money we were paying, I may excuse one or two hiccups, but more than two is just unacceptable. The food was okay, nothing to rave about. I would say pretty typical bar food; toasted ravioli, pizza, chicken tenders, chips. There is parking right next to Flamingo Bowl for $ 5. I did like their private party room, but just wish there wasn’t so many issues with the bowling lanes.

Ehhh. I was on a business trip and stopped in late one night because the Flamingo was the only thing open. The staff seemed pretty friendly, especially compared to other establishments in the area. The layout and design of this place was pretty cool. Unfortunately, the food was really subpar and overpriced. When I think of this place, I think«ehhh».

Eh. I live a few blocks away, and now that I think about it, I’m surprised I hadn’t been here before. Anyway, my mom and sister were in town, and I wanted to take my little sister bowling, so Flamingo Bowl it was. Thanks to other Unilocal reviewers, I got the scoop on Happy Hour being between 4pm and 7pm wherein drinks and appetizers were half off. Three bucks for a quesadilla or nachos? I’m in! I’ll cut to the chase– Relatively clean Very Quiet 80s music SUPERTINY… I’m used to 30 lane bowling alleys, not 8! Updated décor Delish food(for a bowling alley) BUT, here was my problem with the place: they tried to over-charge me on EVERYTHING. Food? Overcharged by 4 entres($ 18 – happy hour half off) Shoes? Overcharged by 1 pair($ 4) Bowling? Overcharged by 1 game($ 3) Drinks? Overcharged 3 drinks($ 9) I completely shit you not! I paid for the food and drinks separate from the bowling and shoes – they screwed up twice. By the time I walked out the door after correcting(and catching!!!) them on everything, I had a half dozen voided receipts(because they screwed up four times when REDOING my charges, too). What the fuck. They didn’t contest me on anything, and neither guy who cashed me out had an attitude, but still. Christ. I’d go back, but will be triple checking every single receipt.

This was my first visit to the Flamingo Bowl. it was the check in place for the Stan Span run. I felt like I had stepped back in time when we entered the door. Retro pink flamingo’s everywhere. We needed to use the restrooms, and for as many people that stopped and used the restrooms, they were clean, with is such a bonus. I look forward to going back to bowl a few games and enjoy the food and drinks.

Surprisingly this place has decent pizza and the bowling option – although more a gimmick than a serious alley – is visually entertaining to watch. Flamingo Bowl was jumping on the night of my downtown St. Louis visit and I enjoyed the chance to people watch.
