Friendly professioal Pharmacy with compounding expertise. All mainstream drug avenues are expensive but Lindewood just feels better than say Express Scripts or Walmart.

Buyer Beware!!! I just went to Lindenwood Pharmacy to fill a prescription and the Pharmacist quoted me $ 400.00 for 60 tablets of Prednisolone. He also mentioned that there was only one manufacturer and that is why it was so expensive which is a lie. I did some research and found the 60 pills of Prednisolone(not generic) tablets online for $ 9.00 and locally for $ 15.00. Quite a difference! I don’t typically write reviews but thought it was important since he mentioned he fills about 50 prescriptions a day for the medication Prednisolone. I would expect care to come before money when you rely on pharmacist for life saving medications but this just proves otherwise! Did I mention that it also smells rancid in the store!!!

Good quality old fashioned customer service here. A real person answers the phone and the staff will know you by name by your 2nd or 3rd time in. They get your prescriptions ready in pretty short order no 3 hour waits like a big box pharmacy. Over all it’s pharmacy service like it should be, with personal touch and attention to detail.

This is like your old fashioned corner drug store, except, over the years, I think it has probably lost some its 1950’s luster. Obviously, this is, at its heart, a drug store. You can have your prescriptions sent here and the prices are comparable to anything you would get at a Walgreen’s. But, like any other drug store, they have all the other essentials. There is a decent selection of over the counter items like Claritan and cough drops. Also, they have the same goodies that you would expect from a corner shop like this. There are snacks and candies and of course magazines. This place isn’t that special, but it’s nice that corner drug stores like this still exist. It is most definitely something I appreciate and it certainly adds some old timey charm to the neighborhood.
