Great gym! I’m relatively new to CrossFit, so it has been extremely encouraging to encounter a welcoming and patient staff as well as a supportive group of regulars. The facility and equipment are well maintained; and, from what I can tell, the owner is continuously working to make the gym even better. There are several classes per day, so it’s easy to find a class that works with my irregular schedule. If you’re looking for a great CrossFit program, check out No Shelter CrossFit.

Very solid gym in St. Louis. I’ve coached for a few years and now am going to graduate school at Wash U so I’m just looking to workout when I can and Tom has been the most accommodating CrossFit gym owner I’ve ever worked with. Lots of open gym hours so if you have an ever changing schedule, this is the place for you.
Old school facility that’s constantly improving, they program conjugate method style training, so unlike most CrossFit gyms they DO NOT overlook strength! They fill up the entire hour class with work and individual athletes do accessory exercises specific to their weaknesses — ideal training for all levels. Keep it up.

I tried CrossFit for the first time ever last week. I am a 30 year old adult and I was so scared to go in because everyone there looks so strong! Tom, the owner, teaches the Foundation class and he made me feel so welcome. He and his entire team are so supportive and encouraging. Classes are affordable and accessible, I can work them in to my busy schedule. Anyone interested in trying something new and getting stronger and feeling confident, I completely recommend No Shelter CrossFit!

I gave it only one star because they gym and classes are pretty good. Staff is great from when I went for a few months last year (2014). So whats the problem?
Well since I’ve cancelled my membership I was charged for 4 additional months. I gave them the 2 months notice so 2 out of the 4 months of payment was legit. 2 months was an over payment. I’ve been brushed off and hung up on by owner Tom Jones. He has dodged my calls and emails for the remaining $ 240 that needs to be refunded. I finally got him to speak with me and he returned 1 months fee $ 120. I’ve still yet to be refunded for the last months. This is just right out stealing and criminal!
Avoid any financial agreements with this establishment!
