Salon Fleur de Lis

Both my husband and I happened to have the day off together and we both needed hair cuts. We are in walking distance to fleur de les and I read great reviews on Unilocal so we decided to give them a try. We are both extremely happy. I called last minute and they worked us both in. Kat cut my hair and Trista cut my husbands. He has curly hair which is hard for a lot of people to get right. Trista did a great job but the true test will be when it starts to grow out. As for me its not often I have someone actually listen to what I would like. Kat did a great job and I am so happy!

Im from Califorinia and when I visit St. Louis, I stop here to get some TLC and always get excellent service every time. I always see Cat she’s great. Getting my roots touched today and waxing. Clean and professional service.. All staff are very friendly gals.

Great hair salon with a killer staff.
My first visit here was to correct a horrible haircut from a salon school in the city that will remain unnamed. My hair was a Macklemore-​Hitler Youth bastardized mix. Pretty gross.
However, the friendly stylists at Salon Fleur de Lis fixed it right up on my first visit. I’m terrible at giving directions and prefer to rely on my stylist to do something that looks trendy and professional. I was not disappointed.
I’ve had 3 different stylists work with me here and each has been great (I didn’t switch for any particular reason — my schedule is whack). For men’s cuts they’re reasonably priced, and they always offer a wash and scalp massage before the do the ‘dos. If you arrive early, which I admittedly struggle with, they provide a complimentary water, beer, wine, tea, or coffee. Pretty great way to wait.
I can’t recommend them enough.

Finally made my return to Salon Fleur de Lis last night after a much too long hiatus. I love the hours here — my last salon closed at 6 and just doesn’t work for a 9−5er. My former roommate recommended the salon and now 2 other friends also go here :-)
Sally was very friendly and gave her recommendation for my hair. She added some much needed volume and a cute bang. She also provided advice on how to keep it from looking flat. Very happy!
I really love the scalp messages they offer, great start to the hair cut and very relaxing.
The only thing that’s annoying is their push to purchase products — It wasn’t as bad last night but I’m an awkward person and don’t like things pushed on me. I get it, they are an Avada salon and that’s part of it, but it’s really my only complaint.

New to the STL, I was in need of a new hair stylist. Katie Russ was a godsend! She listened to what I needed, executed it perfectly, was reasonably priced, and best of all, didn’t try to force-​feed products from the lobby down my throat! I will certainly be back again, and again!

Very professional makeup and updo. There is an entire team to complete your beauty needs. I went on my daughter’s wedding day and was very happy with the results.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year. Sally, Lisa, and Caitlin have all been awesome. Caitlin is helping me do awesome things to my head before I go bald. Dudes and ladies alike, they know what they’re doing. And a scalp massage. The review could have only said that. Scalp massage. What? Every time. Awesome.

I started going to Salon Fleur de Lis a few months ago and wanted to get a couple cuts and color under my belt before I left a review.
First of all, I agree with the other review that the receptionist is super friendly and willing to work with your schedule. When you come in she is just as friendly and helpful, as were the other stylists who were free when I came in– hanging up my coat, getting me coffee. It was a great first impression. They also will call you to remind you of your appointment the day before, which is sometimes a good thing with me. I rarely forget about an appointment, but it has happened.
I came in to repair the damage a previous stylist had done to my hair (bad cut, and really bad color job – I was supposed to get highlights. I’d bet money she mixed up the bowls with the colors so I was super blonde with darker brown highlights).
I had an appointment with Nancy. Nancy took a great deal of time to listen to my requests for the cut I wanted and asked questions to confirm that she understood what I wanted. We discussed the color but put that off until my next visit.
Nancy cut my hair perfectly, exactly as I wanted it and took the time to show me how to fix it and that paid off as my hair looked great up to the time of the next visit. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on my new cut.
Second visit, we did a cut and color. I had a picture of the coloring I wanted for my hair (which involved three different shades) and she matched it perfectly.
Unfortunately, its prices are the only downside. When I’ve gone to pay, I’ve been left a bit breathless and my budget may eventually exclude going to this salon, but as long as I can afford it, I’ll continue to go there.

My VVegaz hairstylist quit because «she no longer wanted to do hair»?? And she just cut my hair a month ago. Anyway, I thought I’d try a neighborhood salon and called Salon Fleur de Lis. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful and they could get me in at my convenience which is always a plus! This salon is within walking distance for the St. Louis Hills/​Lindenwood Park residents, so there is no need to drive. Kelsey cut my hair upon request, as she works with curly hair. She took her time examining my texture and made MAJOR improvements! Adiós bell-​like poof! I was amazed by how well my hair laid down, and you could actually see my curls and wave shine through! And all it took was a stylist who actually knows what she’s doing. So many stylists have pretended to know what they’re doing with my hair, but end up massacring my hair which results in weeks of the painful growing-​out stage and wearing my hair up. This is the first time I can actually get out of bed, throw some cream in my hair to get the bed-​head look, and look great. She also gave a killer head/​neck massage before the cut. Thanks Kelsey!
