There’s not a ton of selection here, but that’s because it’s a small neighborhood branch– as long as you have time to request an item to be sent there, then it shouldn’t matter. The staff is really nice as long as you are respectful to them(they deal with so much crap, cut them some slack). One trick I learned is that if there’s a new book you want to read, and it’s not urban fiction or an oprah book club book, you have a very good chance of being near the top of the request list if you pick it up at Cabanne. The books that they purchase go to their own patrons first– so if you want to read Twilight, you’d be waiting forever at a branch like Carpenter, while not many people at Cabanne are going to request it, so you will be near the top of the list. Just try it and see. Only real downfall is that the parking lot is small and the bathrooms are kind of yuck.
