in search of balance

I’m not what you call a ‘clothes hound’ and shopping for them isn’t exactly my thing. But when I’m in St. Petersburg once every year, we always make an effort to stop into In Search.
We happened to find In Search a few years ago when we were in the area checking things out. Originally, it wasn’t the clothes that drew me into the store but rather an old gumball machine that sat on their counter. Interestingly enough the first thing I ever bought was that gumball machine… off Ebay (not theirs). In the years past we’ve stopped in to look at their clothes and shoes though. They have some cool off-​brands that I like. The owners here are also a great conversation. Had a good chat with them a couple weeks ago and told them about the gumball machine thing. I also picked up a t-​shirt.
We’ll continue to make our annual visit every year. Cheers.
