Came here around 2pm on a Monday looking for some happy hour specials. They had $ 2.50 miller light drafts and $ 8 pitchers of miller light and deals on well drinks. I have been to some other Miller locations in Tampa bay and they had way better specials for happy hour. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been here a couple of times before for lunch/dinner and the food was just okay. It didn’t bring me back for food. Was casually in the area on my bike and decided to grab a drink. They have local craft beers on draft but no deals at all which was disappointing. I hope that they have better happy hour deals in the future because being down the street from here I would come back more often. Jules was great and the atmosphere was good.

This is a good neighborhood staple. They have a good beer selection. The food isn’t spectacular. .in fact some of it is terribly bland boring but I stick with the basics that are really good. The zingers of course… the smoked fish dip… the grilled chicken sandwich. the clam chowder. Always consistent as it is a chain. Never had bad service. It’s always clean and fairly priced Oh but don’t order a black and tan. for some reason they’ve decided to not use bass and use yuengling instead. That’s just not right

There are insufficient adjectives to adequately describe how great this evening’s experience was at my favorite eating establishment. First, thank you to the management for the 50% reduction in cost for the entrée due to being a military veteran. Second, my hats are off to a relatively new member of the staff, Anna, who performed all of her duties in an extremely professional and timely manner. She was a joy to have serving us this evening. She was eager to learn and was meticulous in ensuring our satisfaction on everything. The drinks, as always, were spot on! My wife absolutely adored and enjoyed the ossobucco that literally fell from the bone. It was extremely tasty and well seasoned. My filet mignon was the second best that I have EVER eaten. Only Frenchie has done it better. The corn and peppers were great as was the Apple Crisp for dessert. The Courvoiser was a tad short and originally in an incorrect glass, but we all recovered from that minor misstep. I congratulate all in creating another milestone event for my bride and I. We will be back tomorrow night with a guest who we are bringing for their first experience at this Ale House. I fully expect to have the same experience repeated.

Extremely happy with every part of my experience!!! The food, service and bar staff was amazing!!! The zingers are so tender and moist and the and the shrimp scampi is awesome. To end a great meal with the apple crisp was perfect Couldn’t have been more satisfied with my visit.

Well plenty of beers on tap but this is a safe place to take a family as well. Plenty of TVs all over with a wide variety of games or ESPN on. Always a beer special. I always ask my daughter to name the species of fish hanging on the wall. Daily special(today it was 35 fried shrimp and it looked good!) and the burgers and chicken sandwiches are great. I’ve been happy with most all of the menu but I really like the salads. Key lime/chicken today-very good but my favorite is the Asian.

Great neighborhood spot. Limited gluten free options both(both beer and food), but that is expected. Nice bar with plenty of TVs to watch your favorite game. Service at the bar Monday evening was good. With that being said this place need a better gluten free menu and some more gluten free options at the bar. It’s not that difficult to do.

Cleaner than most ale houses I’ve been to! But the service isn’t any better. We must have waited 30 minutes after asking for our check and we only ordered drinks. The excuse was that our waitress had a «big table.» From what I saw there was only a high top table beside us she had. I thought that was a rookie excuse! Give it a try if you’re looking for cheap drinks, but I wouldn’t stay for a whole meal.

OssoBuco. Was it me? I’ve never had one like Ale’s before. It was dry not savory wth tyme, rosemary and bay leaves. No savory tomato sauce. Yeah, it was dry as if it was roasted in the oven not Dutch oven made with the trilogy. I w as disappointed last Tuesday night.

I come here at least a few times a year. It’s great to watch sporting events with others. The food is good. It’s always served fast and well portioned. Usually get the quesadillas or fish tacos. Nothing fancy. Various all American 1 level above bar food. Hits the spot. No local brews, but good selection. Never had a bad meal. Perfect place to fill up after shopping in the nearby shopping outlet.

Went to Ale House last night. Huge portions of food and quite tasty. Beers are a little expensive, but they do have a large selection. I wish I had room for dessert after dinner, they look delicious. But, I didn’t have room after dinner. Maybe next time.

If you love football, then you will love this place. There are TVs EVERYWHERE. Service was pretty mediocre, but the food was delicious and the beers were on special. The only thing I would change would be the wooden booths because it became uncomfortable after a while.

Wonderful restaurant! My mother and I stopped here after reading reviews on Unilocal. We just landed at the airport and have never been here before. Very attentive staff. The waitress was sweet and checked on us often, while the manager stopped by for a visit. Great food and the Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure dessert was divine. Unlike anything we ever had. First timers get to split a free dessert!

Another winner located through Unilocal! We’re in town for the Outback Bowl and were looking for a place to watch some football and have a decent meal. Miller’s delivered both, and for a reasonable price. Our excellent server, Susan, recommended the better-than-average fish tacos for me. My husband had steak fajitas. The meat was tender and well-seasoned. AND — BONUS — because we were first-time diners, Susan brought us a free dessert — Capt. Jack’s Buried Treasure. The dessert alone is worth going for. One note: we were hoping to find local craft beers. This is not the place. However, they have a huge variety of beer on tap and in bottles, with some terrific daily specials.

Can’t go wrong with a smoke-free sports bar! Plenty of seats and multi TVs on every wall. They have a wide food selection so don’t worry about picky eaters. I had the chicken tenders(they call them zingers) with mango habanero sauce — just the right amount of sweet and spicy. Overall, a place that had enough that you won’t get bored with it.

Came to Miller’s Ale house to wish a friend off to better pastures. We’ve been here once and had a good time. So I am glad that we got to go here again. We hung out in the Bar area, sipping on Martini’s and passing stories back and forth. The service was good, but for some reason my $ 2.00 vodka martini was actually $ 5. *shrug* not that it’s terrible, but I didn’t quite understand the explanation.

Why is there no real decent option for sorta-late night eats in this area? My friends came up with Miller’s as a last resort option; even though they were familiar with it and said they liked the food, I was less than impressed. The place was quiet an hour or two before closing on a Wednesday night, and our waitress was friendly. She’s probably the only reason they didn’t get a one star. I poked at the menu, looking for something that wasn’t especially heavy or greasy, and I settled on the key lime chicken salad. I know this is a sports bar type of place and I should know better than to order anything remotely close to healthy. Better life decisions overrode common sense though, and I ordered one of the things that they probably only sell two one in a given week. Out orders arrived — fried crap for one friend, osso bucco for another, the wifey got a soup that looked like melted butter, and I ended up with a salad that was pretty pathetic. Globs of heavy dressing composed mostly of mayo everywhere, crap thrown in a bowl, and some grilled chicken. Guys, I’ve had better salads courtesy of WaWa. I know, I know, it’s not a salad place, but can they at least pretend like they care? Even putting dressing in a cup on the site would have been a better option. Needless to say, I was less than thrilled. Unless I’m in the area and nothing else is open, I’m not sure I have a reason to be back.

Beware of the lobster. Went in on Wednesday night for lobster night. My lobster smelled so bad of ammonia that I couldn’t eat it. Had to send it back. Why wouldn’t the cook check the freshness, someone could get really sick. Will never go back!

35 shrimp for(around) $ 10 how can you go wrong? My husband loves this and every time we are in Florida we try to find the closest Miller Ale House. The first one we dined at many years ago was in Orlando. This was in 2008 and we loved it. Perhaps the rose colored glasses and years between visits to Florida tainted our memories or perhaps the one in Orlando is just that much better than this location. We were greeted by some friendly folks and seated immediately. They were not busy on Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was okay. She put off the vibe as though we were putting her out by being placed in her section. She delivered our food and stopped by the table only a few minutes after to find out if everything was okay. I don’t even think we had time to taste our food. Then off she went. We were seated by the kitchen entrance and saw her flash by at lightening speed a few times. She never once stopped back by to check on us. I did have to flag her down for more cocktail sauce and then when we needed more for the table we had to ask another waitress to send ours over so we could ask for more. She outwardly showed an annoyance each time we asked for these two items. We opted for a 15% tip because this is what the service warranted. The food is that of a sports bar and is reasonably priced. They have other options where you can get 35 shrimp — I wonder what it is about 35 shrimp. Must be a lucky number somewhere.

Our swim group of parents and swimmers enjoyed a night at Miller’s. After a little research I found it to be the perfect fit for all ages and of course a lot of taps for parents. Surprisingly I found it was a chain too, but there is not one in Virginia where I reside. The exterior will remind you of a run of the mill steak joint like an Outback etc. Parking was fine, but when busy would be a challenges I suspect. No debris in the parking lot, or walks leading into the business. Something to note is the outside say St. Petersburg Ale House in huge letters. Our group passed it twice, Miller Ale is in much smaller letters. When stepping in I saw the difference from a chain steak joint, again even though this is one. Lots of open space with a combo of booths and high top tables that seated large groups. Also a bar in the center of the dining room. What may be the most striking are the 50 some large flat screen TV’s. The dining room presented well and was clean. Service was immediately attentive and continue to be so for our large party of 15 the whole evening. No argument whatsoever on breaking the checks down, but as a courtesy it was mentioned up front. Service by both our waitress and the manager who stopped over a few times made the experience top notch. Both food and drink orders were taken quickly. For me the beer list was above average, but not what I expected from someone calling themselves an ale house. No craft beers were on the list as I recall, but if there were it was not a big enough selection to be impressed. Drinks were quickly handled by the bar as we hit them at the right time before 7PM. The food was brought out close to all at the same time, I think a hiccup of one, or two entrees but with such a large group I would not even think of saying this was an issue… especially since mine was no delayed, ha, ha. Turn around was probably 30 minutes which was great for that large of a group that was not in a hurry and enjoying libations. The temperature on my dish a rack of ribs and fries was perfect and I really enjoyed. The small side of slaw did nothing for me, it was dry. I only hear complaint from one person on their oyster dish, but it was just that it could be improved. The manager stopped by to check on us and asked if certain customers could complete a survey on their dish to assist the restaurant. He was friendly and provided into about the chain and locations around the country for background. I was really shocking seeing that they were in so many states and I had never even heard of them. Some at the table opted for desert. I recall the brownie sundae being gigantic and heard rave reviews. My son had the Captain Jack buried treasure, a huge Oreo type of desert. He loved it and I tried a bite agree. Lots of positive and I would return. Keep up the great work, our party really enjoyed.

Came in for a weekday lunch and it didn’t seem too crowded. The zinger salad is a crowd favorite. Definitely more salad than you would expect. Everything was fresh. The others at the table ordered grilled zinger salad, chicken key lime salad and a mahi sandwich. Everything looked yummy and fresh. Even though everyone was very nice, service was a bit slow.

This will be short and sweet since it’s the third Miller’s I’ve reviewed and this location was just as good as the others. Great service, consistently good food and a ton of beer on draft make Miller’s a chain I’m happy to go to. I usually go with the Osso Buco, but this trip and I was in the mood for dumplings and soup. The french onion had some chewy onions in it, but the broth was delicious and I could taste the sherry. The dumplings were good, too. Great texture and flavor. This was another happy meal for me at another Miller’s.

Pleasant surprise, I was a bit hesitant stopping in– I wasn’t sure how kid friendly this place was. I came in for a quick dinner with my son. The host greeted us and seated us immediately. She was very pleasant. They have an awesome kid’s menu, with lots of choices! Our server was also very nice and helpful. Very prompt with our drinks and our food came out with a quickness. Interior is nicely laid out. There are about 30 TVs(my son counted lol), large comfy booths and tables. A big bar sits in the middle of the restaurant with seating also. Very clean and everyone that worked there appeared friendly(no scowling faces!). I ordered the fish and chips and my son got the kid’s chicken strips. VERY big portions. I was only able to eat half and he didn’t finish his chicken either. Fish and chips– very crispy crunchy! Fries were also good! Lots of greasy goodness. Took half rack of ribs and mashed potatoes to go for the hubs. I didn’t get to taste it but it looked delicious! I’ll definitely have to come back and try some other dishes. Prices were very good for the portions you get.

Came by Ale house after landing at Tampa. Got the seafood Mac ‘n’ cheese since my friend talked about it. He got the fish and chips. The Mac ‘n’ cheese was not bad but very oily and cheesy. It also came with bread which was good with the pasta. My friend raved about the fish and chips and literally cleaned the plate. Two days later, 3 of us ordered from them again for pick up. The two guys got the fish and chips again and I got the fish taco. The fish lacked flavor and was a bit dried out. It was ok but not super great. I got fries instead of rice and beans but the fries were cold and sort of stale. It was a short drive, maybe 8 minutes away, so the fries were a little disappointing. To me the prices seem reasonable and the place looked hopping when I dined in the first time.
