It’s DAIRY QUEEN! What else is there to say? It’s the happiest part of summer. This location is only closed for a very brief period in the winter. They have been opening as early as February in recent years. There are few pleasures as simple and great as a large chocolate cone dipped in cherry. Their prices have remained unchanged for several seasons, and they are one of the cheapest locations in the region.

It took me a while to appreciate this place because of their parking situation, but it really has grown on me. The blizzards are definitely the best. The employees are SUPERB! I asked my boyfriend to prom and they let me put a sign in the window and wrote it on his cup! We follow their seasonal hours closely, because we can’t get enough!

The husband made me try salted caramel blizzard with him, because he is too chicken to have it all by himself. I tried the boys Oreo blizzard, it was good. Onto the sea salt caramel blizzard, I don’t know how anyone could possible eat this unless they removed all their teeth and input dentures. Before I left the parking lot I open my car door and almost knocked out two woman spitting out the tiny particles that were attaching themselves to my teeth. My husband while driving was having a hard time keeping a spoonful in his mouth. You must really, really, really like sweets and sticky thickly things to ingest this in your system without overload. People said this thing was to die for, now that I have tried it I believe it’s true.

This is an old fashioned walk up to the window and order Dairy Queen. There is no seating inside but there are several benches outside. There was no line when I ordered but a few minutes after I was done I noticed an extremely long line. I got the apple pie blizzard of the month. It was delicious and they did not skimp on mix ins. Prices were decent. The only thing I could complain about is the consistency of the blizzard was a little more melted than what I am used to but it seems like this is usually the case for fruit flavored blizzards. I would definitely return if I’m ever back in the area.

I have good memories of walking here in the summer for a treat (butterscotch dipped cone all the way!) as a kid but hadn’t been in years… until recently.
When I saw the confetti cake blizzard I knew I had to try it! It didn’t disappoint — I could barely finish a small but I enjoyed every bite!
Employees were nice and efficient, prices aren’t as high as some other places so that was nice!

Now if you want a good ice cream this is the place to go!!! This Dairy Queen is the hottest spot in town for ice cream. We went on a Tuesday night and the line was 20 deep but it moved fast. When we got up to order there were so many chooses. We asked the guy at the counter what he thought we should get and quickly answered BLIZZARD! So we choose a a peanut butter cup and a strawberry cheese cake blizzard. Both were to die for. We will def be back to this DQ!!!
