Fairfield Pizza – Stamford

Solid. One of the better pizza delivery places I have found in the Stamford area.

Fairfield pizza is a great spot. All the workers are really great and the food is awesome. Great spot to grab a slice or have a sit down meal. Recommend going there for lunch /​dinner.

Pizza is delicious, service is excellent. A great lunch spot. Not only is the pizza the best on the block, but the salads and sandwiches are all fresh as well. I never take a girlfriend here, because if we ever break up I don’t want to have any bad memories associated with this fine establishment.

The delivery came within about 15 minutes of placing the order. The Sicilian pizza is delicious. This place is definitely deserving of the five stars!

Pizza was OK the wings were flavorless they were mild I literally was scraping the sauce off the tin just to have some type of taste delivery was fast

No much cheese, onion, egg .

I just moved to Stamford from Hartford but have previously lived in NJ and NYC. Hartford had plenty of good lol New Haven style pizza but no good NYC style pizza by the slice that was ubiquitous in NJ and NYC. I’ve missed it so much! I really wanted pizza for lunch today and was praying I could find a place with NYC style pizza by the slice and this place delivered just that. So happy! They also have beer and wine, which is awesome. You can’t go wrong with beer and pizza.

Just flew in from LA and my teenage boys were hungry,. Walked in as they were closing, but they were friendly and only too willing to take my order! Pizza is great! Lots of cheese! If your in downtown Stamford it’s a must try,…

The pizza was yummy and hot. Not the best pizza I’ve had, but even when pizza is bad it’s still pretty good. The delivery came super quick, too. I’ll definitely order from here again!

Excellent pizza, always friendly staff. I really like the sliced tomato pizza. As others have said, one of the shockingly few places in the area where you can get NY-​style pizza by the slice.

It’s a goto place for me when I’m not in the mood to cook. Try the grilled chicken and veggies or chicken veggie soup. Both are great!

This is a pretty good fast casual pizza/​italian place. The owner used work at Planet Pizza, so menu is similar to Planet Pizza but the recipes are better and this place seems to use a different supplier for its ingredients. I hate all New York pizza regardless of restaurant, so I stick to the other italian fare at this place. The Chicken Scarpariello, Marsala, and Francese are really good, but they arent on the menu boards above the register. Look at the paper menu under «Entrees» for the dishes. Alot of the expensive tasty entrees appear as smaller and cheaper «lunch specials» during lunch time on weekdays, so try to come at lunch time window for those dishes.
There is «grilled veggies with chicken» dish that nobody seems to order and sounds very boring by its name, but I see the staff eating it often on their break, and I’ve enjoyed it when I ordered it, even though it doesn’t seem to be italian. The Grilled Veggies with Chicken dish, and the Capellini Delight slightly remind me of chinese food, but that isn’t a bad thing. The Spaghetti Carbonara is very fattening (heart attack bad) but very tasty. Most of the salads are great and have large portions, any dish with grilled chicken is great. The one salad I advise to stay away from is the Arugula. Arugula leafs are made for a goat to eat, not a human. Don’t order anything with «chicken cutlet”/breaded chicken, always get the grilled chicken version. The breaded chicken tastes like a frozen chicken nugget made with dark meat served at a public school cafeteria. The Scarpariello, Marsala, and Francese dishes dont use this frozen breaded patty so they are fine even though their chickens do have some light breading added to them in the kitchen, not the factory. The Pepper and Egg with Mozzarella Sub screams breakfast burrito and is the closest this place has to a breakfast dish (they aren’t open until like 10 or 11 AM anyway).
The manager of this place is really is the owner and calls all the shots on the food. I’ve had issues where a dish is made with a different recipe depending on who was the cook that day and he fixed the problem without protest.
The interior has some luxurious raw brick walls, and fancy wood paneling. This restaurant used to be a full service italian restaurant in the past, and a bar before that. It would be nice if all the light bulbs were the same color. There are only 2 outlets and 2 tables that you can charge your phone at. If its lunch time, those 2 tables will probably be filled.

Great pizza in the area! I ordered a sausage and ricotta pie and was definitely not disappointed. The sandwiches are good, definitely stuffed full, at a decent Stamford price. The salads are on the pricier side, I would certainly suggest the large if for dinner, the small is not sufficient. They offer a lot of toppings. And they have quick delivery!

The slices are so big! And quality is not lost in quantity. Really good pizza! Thin NY style, good sauce, and very cheesy, yum. The chocolate chip cookies were also very tasty. Good service, everyone was really friendly. Definitely a great pizza spot in Stamford!

We got a catered team lunch from here. I personally ordered the meat calzone. It was delicious but it was messy and greasy and all sorts of awful to eat with anyone present. Was it a calzone? Yes. Are all calzones delicious by definition: cheese, meat, tomato sauce? Yes. But this was erring on the greasy, not-​enough-​meat side. If there is oil and grease dripping out of my calzone through the dough… we have a problem.

I decided to order from them since the owner is Brazilian and has a few special flavors «Brazilian style». I was very pleased with their pizza and delivery services. They usually take about 30 — 45min to deliver and the food always gets here nice and warm. The hawaiian and chicken with catupiry are my favorite choices.

If I could give no stars, I would. We ordered a few things off the menu and had the food delivered. The lasagna was a joke. Honestly, I’m not Italian and I make a way better lasagna that theirs. It was disgusting. The meat was funky and it seemed like it was frozen food. Yuck! There were $ 10. Then we ordered wings which were horrible tasting. Again, probably frozen. There goes another $ 10. Garlic knots were good — but I mean, it’s bread. C’mon. Then 2 slices of pizza were just okay. All in all, I would never go back here. I’m sort of a food snob and I don’t understand how others can eat this.
