super generous portion of salad for $ 6 ish(no meat) …probably the best deal on campus(even better than thai café where you will get 3 pieces of meat and a lot of rice) more than enough to keep you full till dinner time. You can either pick your own selection ir get the pre-selected classics like southwest salad caveat is … they are not healthy at all even though it is salad. the dressing tends to be on the heavier side and they gave you even mkre dressing so that is bad. throw in some fried dumpling and some candied nuts, you will get enough calories for the whole day i normally order my own salad and tell them to go super super light on dressing yet my salad came out super soaky lol

Easily the best $ 3.25 I have ever spent on a parfait. The vanilla yogurt was perfect balance between creamy & smooth, delicious sophisticated vanilla flavor and paired SO well with granola which was of an amazingly well-done moist texture, like oatmeal, not soggy but just the right level of softness. Almost like a crumbled oatmeal cookie in a parfait, except perhaps slightly healthier ;) At $ 4.95 my turkey sandwich was filled to the brim of the container(see picture), fresh and very generous portions, with plenty of turkey and swiss to match a multigrain bread and tomatoes and lettuce. They don’t skimp at Heirlooms. The food is definitely worth the price for freshness and quantity. And they take Meal Plan Dollars. Yes! Maybe the secret is to get there at the start of opening hours, just before 11 am, when they roll out fresh sandwiches, wraps and other refrigerated grab & go for the day. tl;dr — Fresh, generous Grab & Go portions

Good place to get healthy food on campus. The southwest chicken was very filling too. Not surprisingly, they can make the salads with or without meat. It’s also quick which is always nice.

It’s a pretty generous amount of salad for the cost — they really go out of their way to pack that plastic box up to(and often beyond) capacity. The southwest chicken salad with a medium(vs. small) dose of dressing and extra tortilla strips is the way to go here. They also have weekly specials(i.e. chinese chicken salad, bbq crispy chicken salad, etc) but so far nothing has taken down the southwest as my go-to. One of the better healthy options on campus, check it out!

Amazing fresh tossed salads! I wish they had better working hours, it’s a bit hard to accommodate their schedule

I love their fresh-tossed salads! They have some blends they suggest(Classic Southwest, for example) but you can also make your own– which I love to do! The base is 6.75, and you can add protein(chicken for $ 2 and salmon for $ 4.) They have different lettuce(spring mix, arugula, baby spinach, romaine) and tons of toppings(black beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato, cucumber, quinoa, feta, parmesan, croutons, tortilla chips, cranberries, raisins, etc). And also a whole bunch of dressing choices: balsamic, champagne vinegar, raspberry vinegar, caesar, and cilantro. A little expensive but definitely your healthiest choice at Union Square!
