Furniture On The Bay

Better than I had hoped it would be. A friend recommended I shop at this store because I wanted relatively inexpensive — but not necessarily «cheap» furniture. The sales people (I dealt with Vinny) are friendly and not pushy. I left and came back a couple times (after comparing their items to some other stores) and never felt pressured to «sign now.» They have several samples on the floor to see and feel what items are like and they have dozens of books to go through if you (like me) need more choices. I found it difficult to actually compare prices between different furniture at different stores, but I got the sense that the quality of the furniture at this store is pretty good and the prices are definitely reasonable.
Once ordered, I was given an estimated time frame for the items, which was followed-​up on that day with a phone call giving me more precise information. My order came in two deliveries (bedroom and living room sets) and both times I was given accurate delivery windows (within a few hours) within which the deliveries were actually made. The delivery men for both deliveries were professionally dressed (store «uniforms») and were all polite and pleasant. I will definitely recommend this store to my friends, and in fact I have already done so.

Buyers beware! Went to this place with a $ 400 certificate that I received from Salvation Army for being hurricane Sandy victi which can be redeemed in 2 stores and Furniture on the bay is one of them. The salesman Vincent (seemed like a nice guy), took my certificate and started to write an invoice with out giving me the price, not until I asked for it. After hearing the price, I said that its too much, and wanted to leave and I asked for my certificate back, after I did that there was no more Vincent nice guy. I was told that once certificate is open it stays in the store, what a non sense, the certificate has my name on it. After long argument I was left before the choice ether to buy a furniture for the high price or to walk out and leave my $ 400 certificate in the store. I called police, and after police came,$ 400 certificate was given back to me, by police officer. This store is ran by a bunch of italian crooks

Buyers beware, unprofessional, lie about delivery dates, we were promised 3 weeks wait time, it’s been 2 months, after 4 weeks I finally called them when I asked why so long a woman on the phone said that they are busy she cant do much about it, and we’ll get a call from them when our order arrives. finally when our order came in they reschedule 3 more times claiming again they were busy, horrible service, horrible experience.
I will never go back to this place again.
