I will kickoff this review by saying our server Brianna was marvelous… TOPNOTCH. she was attentive and considerate of our dining experience, RARE these days. SHE gets 5 Stars First off we ordered the private reserve wine, a Pinot and it was first rate. Starter was grilled shrimp delish and complimentary foccacia and white bean hummus YUMMY. After that we split a pear salad it was dressed flawlessly and was refreshing. Entrees were crab cakes and French dip sandwich really pleasant. To finish off we had peanut butter pie, key lime pie both were fresh and scrumptious.

The. Best. Salads. In. The. World! Who knew healthy could taste so good? When you are seated, you are handed a small paper to customize your own mix and match salad. I love ordering the grilled chicken and shrimp(amazing btw) with avocado, cashews and black olives with Italian dressing on the side. The drinks from the bar are really good(and really inexpensive during happy hour!) By far my favorite salad spot, can’t wait to try their other items on the menu. Service is great, and the restaurant’s décor is very adorable. Definitely worth going!

Excellent food. A little loud for my taste. But food was excellent but also a little pricey.

Really an awesome place. Set in a crappy strip mall but made the best of the situation. The Parker is an amazing burger and I highly recommend the onion rings with it. The atmosphere is very nice and upscale. The wait staff is friendly and professional. Job well done!

This is one of my favorite go-to restaurants. The staff is always very nice and it has a great, relaxing ambiance. The complimentary focaccia slices with hummus deep are a tasty, unique start to the meal. Personal favorites are the French dip sandwich, NY strip, and rotisserie chicken. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they switched up the beer selection once in a while, but the Founder’s Dirty Bastard tends to treat me well.

Location may seem odd to out-of-towners but it is well known to residents. The décor is very nice inside. The hostess was pleasant and informed us of a 25 min wait for a table though it didn’t seem that packed. So we ponied up to the bar to wait a bit too long for any attention from the hapless bartender, though she did pour a heavy Jameson! We were seated at a nice table and greeted by Brianna, our friendly and extremely attentive waitress. The food here is excellent. Everything we ordered was tasty. It was our first visit here and all of the appetizers seemed so appealing so we opted for 4 of them(for 2 people) and decided to have sandwiches for our meal. Brianna kept gauging when to put the orders in for the sandwiches so they would come out at the perfect time. She was awesome. The steak tips were cooked perfectly and were served with their Parker sauce which is delicious. Pretzel app was served with a whole grain mustard and was ok. My wife had the fish taco app and she said they were good and were made how she likes them, not too much liquid from the slaw. Last app was the pile of fries. These fries are really good and addictive and they are served with a few dipping sauces and they are piled obscenely high. For the sandwiches, wife had the fish sandwich which was excellent with the cod lightly fried and not too greasy. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and I have to say one of the best I’ve had and I like to eat buffalo chicken in all its forms, everywhere I go. Definitely worth a visit for date night or drinks with the guys/girls at the bar which was comfortable enough to eat at as well.

Nice décor. We were seated at a table with a bench and I sat on the bench side. Pretty comfy, but the poofy cushion made it hard to slide in and I towered over the table. But small price for comfort. Our waiter was in training so really wasn’t very helpful, actually seemed like he had never waited before, but the person training him was excellent. Bread on the table was just sliced focaccia, but instead of butter it was served with white bean hummus which was a nice change and very tasty. Our iced teas came in small juice glasses but was very fresh and strong. The menu is limited and a little on the pricey side; also, not very informative. Like the one chicken dish just listed ‘chicken’. But after asking how it was served, it was described in great detail and was delicious. But it was still $ 20 for half a roasted chicken breast with 1 wing attached, 3 potato slices and nothing else. The saving grace was the most amazing lemon, caper, hot cherry pepper sauce I ever tasted. We also ordered the French dip. It was served on the same focaccia provided on the table. Way too much bread! The sliced meat was tender but au jus had zero flavor and was watery. No sides came with this for $ 12. So the 3 stars is because the chicken dish was really good and it’s cool looking inside. But we kinda left there hungry so not sure whether we’d be back for dinner, but perhaps lunch or just drinks.

I dropped in here on a co-worker’s recommendation. My brother and his wife were in town and staying in Shelton. Not my neck of the woods, so I asked for some suggestions for good food and happy hour environment. It was the right place for drinks and some quality catch up time. It is a small place, but there is a dining area and a bar area with a few tables too. Not too loud in there, but 4 giant tv screens for watching the games. Beer and cocktail selection was pretty average. They did have a few types of Lagunitas available in bottles. We ordered some appetizers after a little bit. We got nachos and a pile of shoestring fries with some dipping sauces(ketchup, some sort of aioli, and a great sweet and sour sauce). The apps happily satisfied whatever remaining hunger we had leftover from my niece’s birthday pizza party. I would definitely come back here to try some of their entrees. I saw some pretty tasty burgers coming out to people as we sat there.

Seafood Bisque — 6⁄10 — well made with a variety of seafood as well as corn and mushrooms. Wild Mushroom Meatloaf — 7⁄10 — the mushroom sauce is delicious. The meatloaf is good but somewhat dry without the sauce. More sauce would improve this dish. Duck Breast with Mushroom Risotto — 7⁄10 — duck is perfectly cooked and delicious. The Risotto does have mushrooms but their flavor is not infused into the rice and is not really detectable in the dish.

Totally our go to local joint. I love the make your own salad option. Also a big fan of the sausage and pasta entrée. The atmosphere is relaxed but slightly upscale. It is in a kind of weird plaza, but other than that it’s great!

The food is soo good here! The service is great as well. One time my steak was not good all the way through and they took it back to cook it more and they also gave us a free drink! Would recommend this place.

My husband and I gave this place a try after a long afternoon of rug shampooing at my mom’s condo. Being a strip-mall restaurant, we were not expecting it to be so nice inside. We wished we were dressed a little nicer, but we were welcomes«as is». We had nice service from an inexperienced, but helpful and friendly waiter. Our meals were delicious. I had braised short ribs, and my husband had duck. The portions were not large. We had room for dessert, unusual for us. The peanut butter pie was good. Overall, a pleasant meal.

We stopped on our way home from central MA, and were looking for something quick. We were very pleasantly surprised with Parker. The pizzas were excellent, salads very fresh and flavorful, and we so appreciated the reasonably quick service. We will return on our next trip.

I was rather disappointed in this place. I am always on the search for a good salad so I was excited to try the create your own. First, it was $ 12 for a small base of a salad. I can get a huge salad from Super Sandwich for less than $ 10. I then added seared tuna. The tuna looked like it had been cut with a hatchet. Stringy, fatty, and seemed slightly old. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I really was excited to try this and wanted to find a good lunch spot. Too bad they didn’t deliver.

Don’t let the overly«hip» décor fool you into thinking this place is more focused on style over substance. The food and service were excellent and the next time I’m in town I will go back for more. I can appreciate them overdoing it with their decorations inside since it’s located in a strip mall. But, the food more than stands on its own and doesn’t need the«trying too hard to impress me» vibe of the place. You’re food is great, take down the disco ball in the bar! It’s tacky! We ate the lamb lollipops and shared the rotisserie chicken and the short ribs. Everything was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu.

This is one of those times where you wish you had half stars. I wouldn’t give Parker 4 stars but they deserve 3.5. Briana the waitress was great so no complaints there. The complimentary white bean hummus and bread is DELICIOUS! Now onto our dinners. My girl had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes $ 18.00. So it was good but really $ 18. for a couple slices of meatloaf and a scoop of mashed potatoes, no vegetable, no salad. I just didn’t understand how the dinner didn’t come with a salad or vegetable. I had the French dip $ 12.00 and it was very good but again comes with nothing. $ 12.00 was a pretty fair price for my sandwich and I wouldn’t expect it to come with fries for that price but a pickle or a couple potato chips woulda been nice. I won’t rush back but I can’t say I will never return either.

We consistently enjoy the food and ambiance here and I know I reviewed it some time ago but… Hey…did I mention the salad! Last night being August it felt time to revert to the salad. Asked the server if they could chop it and with a ‘Yes’ I was on a roll. Great assortment of ingredients including mandarin oranges and apples that perfectly complimented the delicious rare tuna on top. My generous bowl arrived tossed with exactly the right portion of balsamic vinagrette. My only regret was that I neglected to ask for a ‘take home’ on my leftovers. Looking forward to next time!

Talk about a bad location… Wow. You can’t see the building from the road and parking lot situation is rough. In addition, the restaurant had a steady stream of water leaking through the roof, into the bar. At one point, the water was literally pouring in. I don’t know how much this place pays for rent, but chances are that it’s too much. Anyway, on to the dining experience. We were seated immediately, and the bartender was very nice and helpful. I ordered the French dip, which was massive. It was served on very unexciting ciabatta bread, but overall the sandwich was good. I’m definitely interested to try more items on the menu, but I probably won’t be going out of my way to do so. So it looks like I’ll just have to wait until I’m in the area again.

Aside from no hostess at the stand, it really couldn’t have been much better. The bartender eventually came over and I took a seat at the bar. He was very attentive and made appropriate suggestions. I started with a clam casino pie and then had The Parker burger. Had only two slices of the small pie to leave room for the burger. It was very difficult since it was so good but I kept to 2 slices. I had sweet potato fries with the burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The fries seemed fresh cut but likely not since they were not as sweet as expected but still good. I would suggest a sweet dipping sauce be available but that’s just me being picky.
