McDonald’s

I give this McDonald’s zero stars! There is always an incredibly long wait. The drive thru is ridiculous. They have no business having two lanes when they cannot even properly serve one lane let alone two. The employees at this McDonalds are even more incompetent than the management. I just waited over 20 minutes at the drive thru for a cheeseburger and french fry. And when I got to the window I had to wait another 4 minutes for my cheeseburger. Come on guys, it’s just burgers and fries! What is so difficult about this? It is unfortunate that they are the only choice for fast food in Sugar Hill. Very disappointing!

If I could give it 0 stars I would, this place is hands down the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. They have the worst service possible all the time. I sat in the drive through for 15 minutes watching a «drive through» customer talk casually to the cashier, sounds like they were making a «DEAL» if you ask me. And when pulled to the window, the manager barely had any words such a a simple «sorry» whatever, the owner/​franchiser should be ashamed of the establishment.

This is the SLOWEST McDonalds. I come here quite often since it is close to work and never have I gotten my order quickly — even if I am their only customer at the time. If I could avoid this place, I would. I cannot count how many times I sat in the drive thru waiting forever just to end up with an incorrect order.

Worst McDonald’s one can go to. I now drive all the way down 20 towards the McDonald’s next to Backyard Burger when I eat McDonald’s. Expectations aren’t high when choosing to eat fast food, but at least give me edible food rather than raw looking meat and rock hard hamburger buns.

New décor and facility. Clean bathrooms and lounge! Great service and food. Self service drinks. No play area for kids :(

SUPER SLOW and INACCURATE DRIVE THRU. ALWAYS
They are slow in taking your order, slow in bagging your order which creates the backup to the payment window. I think they don’t have enough staff or have staff that don’t know what they’re doing or staff that doesn’t want to do things quicker.
We go to this MCD at least twice a week on our way to something so I can attest to their accuracy at the drive thru. It gets a failing grade. They are always screwing up the order. As well, their McCafe drinks are so inconsistent. Sometimes the iced coffee or mocha are too sweet or bitter. It’s like the kids were never trained to make this stuff. I saw one kid referring to the plastic instruction cards as to how to make the drinks. Going inside and ordering isn’t any faster or more accurate. I often Find myself, when I have the time, going inside to grab the missing item I ordered. Defeats the purpose of going to a fast food restaurant.

My family stopped by this McDonald’s to grab a quick breakfast before heading to Lake Lanier for a family picnic one Sunday. It’s a pretty new McDonald’s, but it’s smaller than most other McDonald’s restaurants.
The restaurant is fairly clean, but the food and service are «meh.» I got a Sausage Biscuit and a hash brown, which is pretty simple. I love that hash browns are 2 for $ 1 in Georgia! (They were a $ 1 each when I was living in L.A.) But I was ticked off by the fact that my biscuit was kind of stale and not at all fresh. Argh…
I guess at $ 1 for a Sausage Biscuit, some may say «you get what you pay for.» However, this isn’t usually the case at other Mickey Ds and believe me (you can tell by my reviews) that I have been to many others. Yes, it’s a terrible vice of mine that I eat at McDonald’s so often… But the rest of my family agreed that this McDonald’s was not up to par.
One cool thing to note is that this McDonald’s has a Foursquare Check-​in Special. The first time you check-​in here through Foursquare, you will see the special for a «FREE dessert (pie, cone, sundae or 3 cookies) with any purchase!» After purchasing anything, just show your check-​in to the cashier (who, in my case, had no idea what Foursquare was and had to ask her manager), and tell him/​her what you want. I got the Hot Fudge Sundae… Yum! =)
Overall, this McDonald’s gets 2.5 stars for the quality of their food and service. I probably won’t be back unless I am passing by again on the way to Lake Lanier.
