This is literally the best massage and facial I’ve ever had. My masseuse Deborah was amazing. She was so respectful and super sweet. She told me exactly what to expect and even asked me throughout the massage if everything is OK. I felt so relaxed afterwards, it was amazing. She recommended some stretches and exercises that I could do to relieve the stress in my neck and back. I thought that was pretty cool since I’ve never had a masseuse tell me what I can do to relieve the stress. I didn’t catch the name of the lady who did my facial but she was equally as good. She made me feel very comfortable and checked on me throughout the treatment to make sure if I was doing OK. Other facials I’ve had have consisted of the person talking the entire time and not letting me relax. She definitely was not like that. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and I will be returning.

Amazing first spa experience. I saw positive results in my skin and hair immediately as promised. Excellent customer service and gaining product knowledge, within the salon you find your associates very friendly and want to satisfy all your needs by educating you on what treatments and the process that will help you better improve your body. I love the separate room on the back where you are to meet. Totally cleared up my bodily aches and felt like I really treated my hair!

I have been a loyal customer for years now, but after a recent HUGE disappointment I can no longer recommend this place to my friends, or even get excited to come here periodically for facials ever again. I wanted to try something new after some recent stress in life, and decided to try the«fitness body wrap», since it was recommended for post-pregnancy. What a TOTAL scam!!! It was $ 170 for supposedly a 2 hour treatment, which lasted 45 minutes, then with tip that I reluctantly gave(for the first time ever I felt this way!!) it came to be $ 200, for a crappy treatment that did Nothing for me. Let me back up a bit… First I was asked to pay $ 50 the day before because I was going to be late for my appointment. I was leaving my house which is not far away about 5 minutes after my appointment time, honestly forgot because of so much stress, which was my fault. However I thought it was ridiculous to have to pay $ 50 to not get anything done, and the lady kept saying I should just pay $ 50 instead of even trying to come in because they wouldn’t do anything for me, it would be putting a wrap on and taking it off, since it obviously takes 2 hours… finally the lady agreed to $ 30 if I made the same treatment appointment the next day. My appointment was supposed to be 10am the next morning and I went Extra early just to be safe(9:30 am), only to be told my appointment wouldn’t be until 10:45…I had another appointment at 12 and the miscommunicated time was not going to work for me, so I got upset and told them they couldn’t just change time like that, I had a babysitter at home and even came early! After some back and forth arguing(very disappointed in the manager’s attitude, VERY!), she told me I would miss my appointment anyways because it takes TWO hours, so finally I sucked it up and cancelled my 12 o’ clock. Seeing how upset I was for the 2nd day in a row at them(first told not to come then fined me, then messed up my time and made me cancel a later appointment with something else), the lady at the front said I could get a complimentary manicure to wait the time out. Ok I guess that would make things a little better… I got a simple manicure, and low and behold, I was charged $ 10 on my way out for it!!! I was furious, but simply told I knew I would get charged. I wanted to curse at them at that point, but I don’t ever curse and just paid and left super angry and even more stressed than before. The«fitness body wrap» did NOT last 2 hours, it lasted 45 minutes, with the girl putting some algae on my body, wrapped me up in bandages and told me to lie down in the bed for 30 minutes. She did some light head massages and that was ALL there was to it for fitness wrap, and I felt it was $ 170 wasted. Also because they told me it would take 2 hours I had to cancel something else, which made me more upset. I would Never recommend their body wraps to anyone, it’s just a scam of money. Their brochure says things like«increases lymphatic circulation», but um you can just take a hot shower and increase your circulation! I felt no different, and they told me it was because I was slim to begin with… well then why was I recommended to get that stupid and expensive wrap in the first place? With the horrible attitudes, over prices, time mix-ups and lack of quality service to match the price, I don’t see myself coming back here again. Even if I liked their facials before, they were TOO expensive and I know I can get similar treatments for a lot less.

I went there a week ago to the Sugar Land location. I have been going there for about 2 years now, off and on. I will NEVER go there again! First of all, all of the previous aestheticians don’t even work there anymore… that says a lot. Second of all, when I got there to my appt, the aesthetician took me to the room and I noticed and felt that the cover was kind of wet, but I thought that it was just that one spot. I laid down on the heating pad, and the aesthetician tried to talk to me, which I find very annoying. Don’t these people know that you are not suppose to talk to clients unless they initiate conversation with you first? She asked me, where am I from and what do I do… which I thought was inappropriate. Then she started telling me all these bad things that I’m doing to my face… like not drinking enough water, which is BS bc I probably drink TOO much water, definitely enough water… then she started telling me that my skin is this and that… I respected her opinions, but geez… it was annoying. I went there for one main reason, which was to get something extracted. I have never had a problem with the previous aestheticians trying to extract something. She absolutely sucked and couldn’t extract it and went on to tell me for my safety, etc., she couldn’t do it. She barely tried! I was absolutely frustrated and just wanted to get outta there, but I was in the middle of the facial. So I weighed it out…, meanwhile, I noticed that my back and the back of my jeans felt wet, but I thought it was just me sweating from the heating pad… and the bag was warm, so I couldn’t feel anything on my back yet… I get up when she’s done, and half the heating pad had leaked out and my whole back side on my jeans and my panties were soaking wet. I told her what had happened and not even an I’m sorry yet… she said that she had no idea it was leaking but she could hear something dripping, but she didn’t know what the dripping was coming from… and then she said that she’s glad it happened bc now she knows that the bag is broken. I was like wtf!?! Then I asked for some new slippers bc those were soaking wet… she didn’t get me any. Then I told her that I’m soaking wet and then she finally said I’m sorry and kept on wiping the floor. Then she tried to ask me if she could dry my jeans with a towel… I told her no thanks bc it’s not like a towel can dry jeans. I was about to open the door until she said, hold on and kept on wiping the darn floor. I was so irritated at this moment. So I walked back to the locker room bare footed… when I got to the counter, the first thing the manager said to me was… so I heard you were interested in getting a peel package. I said no, I don’t want anything. The manager never once said I’m sorry!!! I asked her what kind of discount I was going to get… and then she said, I heard the bag leaked and she said she could give me a 15% discount. I said no, I’m not paying then and I want a 25% discount. She told me she couldn’t, so I told her that I’m not paying. I told her that I’m soaking wet and my a**is soaking wet and that I’m very irritated right now. She told me they could dry my jeans for me. I told her that I did not calculate my time after work to come here and get a facial and then get my jeans dried… especially when I had 2 other places that I planned on going to after the salon. She went to the back to go make a phone call apparently and then she came back and said ok. I paid and not one I’m sorry from her or anything. So long story short, I will never, ever go back to Albert Luiz again and I’m now looking for a new aesthetician.

I really enjoyed my experience here! First time visiting and find it hard to trust many hair stylists because I have one in the family. Since I’ve moved here to Houston I needed a haircut bad and glad I was working in the sugar land area and found this salon. To start off when waking in I was greeted by a man at the door that was very pleasing, outgoing, and friendly. He offered a warm atmosphere that made my initial impression already a plus. I also was happy that when he answered the phone he told the customer to hold on so he could help me first(always something that bugs me when your in store customer is standing there and they are not helped first). Anyways I was told to go upstairs and was greeted again and checked in. Brought to a stylist, Lesley, within minutes and offered water with orange flavored(very refreshing). I was pleased with her interaction with me and thought because I was new there I would be given someone halfway decent but she was definitely fabulous and worked her magic. The shampoo smelt and feels great. And I still can smell it in my hair days later. Love my layers and that my length was kept even though I needed a good cut. Love this place and hope when I move I will be able to find another place like this again!

I had a wedding to attend a few weekends ago and made an appointment with Anthony for an updo. I didn’t know what to expect because I had never been to this salon. Parking was a little hard to find considering it was a Sunday afternoon. I ended up getting a parking in the garage, which isn’t a long walk from the Salon. Upon entering the salon, I noticed that it’s attached to a shop/boutique with fancy evening gowns. I was directed to the salon upstairs. I was pleased to see a tray of cookies(lol) and extremely professional and nice front desk staff. They made me fill out a(short) information sheet before having me put on a gown. Minutes later, I met my hair stylist, Anthony. He’s an extremely friendly guy and styled my hair just as I wanted it. He was nice enough to check with me every now and then to make sure I liked it. He was very gentle with my hair and paid attention to the details, which I appreciated. I’m tempted to try their make-up and spa services. Once I do, I’ll come back and update my review. For now, this place is awesome for evening styles and they don’t even charge an exorbitant amount like you’d expect from such an upscale salon.

My stylist is Katie Taylor. She is now the only person that I will let cut my hair because she does it perfectly! I have long, thick hair and she knows just the perfect way to give me a good trim but maintain the long flowy layers that I like. She is awesome at styling too! She listens to you and asks you exactly what you want but also gives you some guidance if you don’t know exactly what you want. I’ve tried at least 10+ different stylists over the past few years and I finally found one that I can stick to because she knows what she’s doing! I would highly recommend Katie Taylor.

I took a few friends to have a facial and we were treated absolutely horribly! The manager was soo rude. Apparently they have not updated their website. As a new customer we booked our spa facials based on what we saw on the website. I had confirmed our appointments three times. After our facials we were shocked by our bill. The cost was off the roof. Talk about bad publicity! We asked why our facials costed so much when we all had a basic facial. The manager spoke to us for a min and then decided to take care of another customer next to us. The manager did not handle the situation well. Instead of apologizing for her mistake she argued that the website and bookings were wrong. How is that our fault lady? Not ONCE did she apologize instead she just ignored us and took on another customer. NEVER going there again!

I was at the spa today with 3 friends and was totally disappointed by the customer service i received from the manager and the receptionist. Felt like the facial was rushed, they never asked me what i was allergic to, or did a test with the chemicals, they also do not want to honor the prices listed on their website which apparently according to the manager was not updated since 2006! I also felt like they looked down on my friends because we were brown! go to another spa… don’t waste your money here!

Talented people work at this place and it most certainly rocks! I first called to make an appointment and Kat answered my phone. She was quick with getting me set up with the right people. I wanted a same day appointment was scheduled with Anthony for my haircut. He was sweet and showed a lot of passion in hair. He also suggested some practical and easy hair styling tips for my always-on-the-go routine. I also treated myself to a manicure and pedicure while here. My girl, Vernita, was amazing at making my nails look pretty and fabulous. And she was so nice! She suggested spa packages for me and my mom for Mother’s Day and even went to get the pamphlet and business cards for me when my nails were drying! I wanted to add that during my visit, all of the staff were super friendly. There’s this girl named, Sarah, and she’s a super talented stylist as well! She’s done amazing work with a lot of my friends’ hair and loves what she does!

Just got a spray tan last Thursday for a wedding on Saturday… they were able to squeeze me in without an appointment and the tan looked GREAT! I really appreciated them working with me so easily at the last minute. The spa area was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated that it wasn’t just a spray-and-go session, she wanted me to let it dry a bit, look in the mirror, and make sure I didn’t see any spots or areas I wanted redone, it’s refreshing to not be rushed!

I have been here 4 times now and I have always booked with Jaime. The staff has been extremely nice and courteous, I always feel doted on. Jaime is nothing short of amazing. Even when you go to her for the first time you automatically feel like her best friend, she is so easy to talk to and you actually have a GOOD time getting your hair done. She always does an amazing job and I am always happy when I leave, it’s like she already knows what I want when I sit in her chair. I cannot thank her enough for not only cutting and coloring my hair so beautifully but Also recommending products to keep it beautiful. I will absolutely recommend her to everyone!

I can honestly say I will never return. I went in for a cut and all over color with peak-a-boo red and blonde highlights. I left with an uneven haircut, barely any layers, ORANGE where the red should be, and blonde that wasn’t bleached to my satisfaction. I had been in the salon for 4 hours at this point so I didn’t have time to stay and speak with a manager about the botched job. However, I did call on my way home and spoke to a gentleman. The only thing he would offer me is a redo by the same stylist who messed my hair up to begin with. He said that their«policy» is that a senior stylist would shadow the girl when she mixes the color and that the same girl who did the bad job to begin with would be the one who applied it. He did not address who would redo the cut. I understand that this might be a tool for training purposes, but I did not pay $ 200 to become a stylist guinea pig to learn on. I went to this salon because it seemed professional and nice. I just had a baby two months ago and haven’t gotten my hair done in over a year, so this was suppose to be a «treat» to myself, and now I am completely regretting my decision. All I wanted was to get my hair redone by a different stylist, I don’t think that was asking too much to be honest. I wasn’t demanding a refund, or anything. Even if I did decide to get my hair redone by the same girl, the only days the manager offered for it to be done was on THEIR schedule, which was either Tuesday or Wednesday. Both of these days wouldn’t work for me considering I am a single mother of an infant, yet they didn’t seem to care. This reschedule should have been when it was convenient for ME not them. I don’t think that wanting a different stylist to redo my hair was that big of a deal, but apparently for their salon it is. Also, both the managers I spoke to were rude and did not seem genuinely concerned with my complaint at all. The women I spoke to today basically hung up on me without saying goodbye, thank you, or I’m sorry. TERRIBLEEXPERIENCE.

This is a loooooooooong overdue review for the wonderful waxing services I have received time and time again from this salon over the last 6 years. I’m so sorry that I have been taking advantage for so long without paying them back with the stellar review that they deserve. Now I cannot speak for mani-pedis, however I can speak for makeup, hair, and especially facial and waxing services. Let’s start by saying that everything is pretty pricey here. And it all depends on what you’re willing to spend money on. For me, I don’t really need to spend that much money on my hair since no matter what I do, it looks mediocre at best. So I tend to not use their extremely professional and talented team of hair stylists that often. Also, I will not spend twice as much money for a mani/pedi. However, when people are removing hair from my body, I will pay extra for them to be precise and delicate about it. I have been with three different beauticians(is that what they’re called?) here and they have never done me wrong! So my routine is to get to know them by starting with eyebrows and lip. It’s shorter, less personal. Kind of like an audition. Then once they pass the test, I let them do the underarms. And eventually after many successful trips, they will finally graduate to bikini. It’s all about trust. And I trust them at Albert Luiz and trust is priceless.

My stylist is, and always will be Kirstene B. She’s really great at what she does. I went from dark brown, to blonde highlights to blonde and red highlights, to red hair, to black, and back to natural brown all in one year with no damage. This chick rocks. She’s sweet, chipper, non-judgemental,(a big plus for a pain in the ass like me) I just really trust her with anything. I did get a cut from another stylist that didn’t go well at all…(Had to rush out of town, and Kirstene was off… oh CRAP!) I paid the bill, tipped her, and had Kirstene fix it later… they did not charge me, and they were super-cool about it. I look at it as a positive, because if something isn’t right. and you fix it with no complaining… I’m cool, man. But go to Kirstene, just to be safe. Ummm… just email me first to make sure I don’t need her that same day. DIBS!!!
