The Plus: I was able to get my appointment within 3 days after I had called. The receptionist was nice. The view from patient’s room was nice. The Meh: Dr. Sander strikes me as a boss that rules with an iron fist. Most of his staff seems anxious around him. He also makes half-joking yet condescending remarks with a dash of misogyny and hints of racism. Okay, he can run the office the way he wants, and that’s fine. What about his expertise as an orthopedic surgeon? I told him about what I was experiencing with my knee. He took 8 x-rays of my knees and told me that the only feasible solution to the pain I was experiencing is to cut the patellar tendon and place it further down my shin. That seemed too excessive for patellar tracking problem and would result in even more pain. I would take this physician’s advice with a grain of salt.

I had an appointment scheduled last week and once I arrived it still took an hour for dr sanders to see me. I hear him making jokes with the receptionists all the time rather than attending to patients. Mr mark sanders himself is friendly enough I suppose. As for the receptionists they are like robots. They greet you on the phone and in person with the same words everytime. They give you a fake smile and don’t necessarily make you feel welcome. They could at least try to have a little personality and variation in their words. They just want you out of their hair as fast as possible no matter how much kindness you show in return. I’m just saying, you won’t feel welcome here. As for the actual work and advice itself from dr sanders and company, its subpar.
