I went in for a checkup today. Dr Poon has been taking care of my dental needs for many years. I like him because he’s very professional and explains the procedures as well. Plus it is never a painful experience. Office staff and dental assistants are always very friendly. They always greet you with a smile. Yo yo at the reception desk is the best. The atmosphere at the office is relaxed and warm.

I was so surprised to see that there is only 1 review! Dr. Poon has so many patients and we always have to wait for a long time to see him. I have known Dr. David Poon for over 20 years. He is the best doctor I ever have and the doctor that I trust the most. I will definitely miss him when he retire. Thank you very much, Dr. Poon.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Poon’s office for the majority of our lives. He is a wonderful dentist who really pays attention to your teeth. Dr. Poon is very gentle when he does cleaning and always asks to make sure that you’re okay. I just went to his office today to fill a cavity and it was a easy breeze. Even though he had to numb my mouth and do some drilling on my teeth, I felt no pain at all, only slight pressure. With tens of years of experience as a dentist, Dr. Poon’s hands are steady and he works fast. Many of my family friends have also gone to his place for several years. Recently, his son Alan who just graduated from USC’s dental school has been taking over some responsibilities at the office but I am under the impression that Dr. Poon will continue to do the more serious dental procedures. I’ve met Alan once and he seems like a really nice and approachable dentist as well. I hope he can be just as good as his dad in the future because I hope to stay with them! A bonus is that they just remodeled their entire office with the most up to date technology, including televisions in each exam room to show film and x-rays. In addition, Dr. Poon also said that the equipment they use to x-ray your teeth now has a much, much lower dose of radiation thereby making it much more safe.
