Okay. so I rarely go to this Panera about a ½ mile from my work. I usually go out of my way to stop by before work to get a bacon soufflé. I’m not into the veg. spinach ones… I get so frustrated that in the last four months, the three times I’ve craved one. they are either out of the meat soufflé or some admin. aide walks in and buys the entire batch for a morning meeting etc. ARGH. so frustrating. WTF. People who walk in a buy the entire lot of souffles should be required to pre-order them… This morning at 730AM. I literately purchased the bacon soufflé as the woman next to me bought all of them. I was then told I would have to wait 20 minutes for more. The management at this store needs to be better prepared. As I got my refund I overheard another person asking for them… geez. I hope you’re listening Panera!

This Panera Bread location deserves high marks. I’ve been coming here for years during the good years and as we all know locally, during the Great Recession. Every time I come inside, the staff behind the counter manages to greet me and other customers as best as they can catch them. I appreciate it. And when I order, they are friendly or at least they do their best — with a smile. The food has been consistently good over the years. The location is perfect. Inside is spacious and staff tries to clean up the tables quickly(or customers tend to clean up after themselves — a huge plus). Love their food and pastries. This is my favorite Panera Bread location.

Horrible. Placed an order for catering/delivery about 4 days in advance BYPHONE. Also followed up with a call closer to the event day. This may not be the correct location to review, as Anna, the woman I spoke on the phone with didn’t mention that mountain view location sends its deliveries to the Sunnyvale location. I gave my order & all my credit card information. day of event comes and I call to follow up at 9:05 for my 9:15 delivery and they say they’ve called me many times, I received no calls. then she looks for my order again and says she never received it. how do you take a credit card number AND an order down and never receive an order? HORRIBLE horrible catering experience. Management should follow up on protocol because if this happens often — that is awful & ridiculous.

Just places so absolutely horrible if its a cafeteria, you don’t even get salt & pepper on the table, for $ 15.00 for half a sandwitch and soup. Ugh!!!

A very busy Panera Bread, like almost all the time. Food: Same menu everywhere, but what stands out about the food here is how consistently good it is. Salads are always fresh, soups are always warm and sandwiches are grilled to perfection. No problems with the preparation of food here. Ambiance: Huge space, lots of seating… I really like the big study table and other seating options for studying. Wifi is hit/miss, not very consistent. Usually very busy, so expect long lines and a louder environment. I do wish the bathrooms were bigger, not enough stalls for such a big location. Service: Great customer service, friendly cashiers and busyboys are attentive and on top of the task. Price: Reasonable! I appreciate that they don’t charge me extra for swapping out ingredients in most of the meals I order. Overall: Consistently consistent, fast and wonderful customer service keep me coming back.

This PARTICULAR location has some issues. I enjoy Panera in general, but there are some staffing problems here. Incident 1: Came in for breakfast and ordered a spinach and artichoke soufflé. Had a couple of bites and realized it had ham in it. Brought it back to the counter and they didn’t believe me until I dig another piece of ham out. That happened to be the last one they had ready so they gave me a cheese one as a replacement. Not even a verbal apology though. Incident 2: Ordered a few items for Rapid Pick Up. When we went to pick it up it wasn’t on the shelf, and when we asked for it, the cashier said the order was complete. Checked the bag and realized they forgot a grilled cheese. Asked about it and was told they were out of white bread.(So they were just not going to make it, substitute it, refund it, or even TELL us??) Then they said they’d make one with a different type of bread. Waited 15 minutes for that. 15 minutes. For a grilled cheese. While waiting we heard them tell several customers that they were out of chicken soup, broccoli soup, BREAD… It was not yet 7pm! Finally, checked with a manager and he personally made the sandwich and gave us a free pastry. Hardly worth it. Oh yeah, and when we got home we realized they also forgot a side of chips. And there were almonds and sesame seeds in the Caesar salad. Something is seriously wrong with this place.

Fact: I am a Panera addict. This place, to me, has everything you could want and more. Soups, salads, broth bowls, sandwiches and they are all great. My favorite thing to get is the Autumn squash soup. The only downside is that it’s seasonal(but those who have had it will agree that it needs to be a year round menu item) Another thing I have noticed about this Panera is the Customer Service. Every time I walk in I am greeted by someone and each person who I have ordered from has been helpful and nice. This Panera in particular is always great and would recommend to anyone who is on the fence about trying Panera!

Bought two cookies for dessert. Ask them to warm it up. They point me to a microwave. Nice cookies for 5 dollars.

Came here for the first time, a pleasent surprise, pretty much locals come here, for good coffee, salads, and warm panera bread. Friendly, and smiling staff is absolutely a joy coming to this place, even though first time gives first impression, got a nice hot turkey, ham cheese panera bread, nice and hot when it was done, had to put my teeth in it, so delicious, my sister had a chicken salad, large portion of salad and chicken was cooked perfect as well. Highly recommended place if you want local, dont wait go visit them, and get a casual and yet a great friendly service thumbs up for this place.

This Panera Bread location offers excellent customer service, a clean restaurant interior, tasty food, and a relatively expensive menu. I ordered a Frontega Chicken Panini(half a panini for $ 4.99), Mac & Cheese(a small cup for $ 4.99), and two Cinnamon Rolls($ 2.89 each). First, they ran out of two different types of bread, so I had to either choose sourdough or some other bread I didn’t like; I chose sourdough. The panini was really warm and tasty, but it wasn’t worth the price(they skimped on the ingredients/filling). Second, the macaroni and cheese was really good, too, but the bowl was shallow, and it definitely wasn’t worth the price. Third, the cinnamon rolls… …WTF! They looked so amazing while sitting out on display… That being said, the cinnamon rolls were probably sitting out for a long time because part of my first roll was dry and hard, while the other part of it was moist. Overall, the cinnamon roll tasted cheap and stale, which is why I threw the other cinnamon roll away when I got home. The total for all 4 items came to $ 17.14(after tax). My receipt says Evelyn was the woman who took my order. If it was Evelyn, then I congratulate her for her excellent customer service. I let her know that it was my first time visiting Panera Bread, so she explained the menu and helped me pick out my panini. While the Frontega Chicken Panini(half) and Mac & Cheese(small) were really good, the amount of food you’re given versus the price you pay($ 10+ for these two items) is ridiculous. I’m in no rush to eat here again.

If you can go to another Panera location I recommend it. I really want to like this one because it’s the closest to my house, but they have about a 50% rate of messing up our to-go orders… Maybe even worse recently. And considering we go there about once a week, that’s a lot of messed up salads. They pretty much always give us a free salad on the next visit to make up for it if we call to complain, but I’d rather they just get it right the first time. Especially since my fiancé has a severe nut allergy and misplaced walnut could send him to the ER.

**This review is solely based on the service** I ordered breakfast online around 10 am for«rapid pick-up» only to find out they sold out of my order. I was turned over to some unprofessional Asian lady who seemed like a supervisor/lead/or a manager. She was in the process of giving me a refund and did not speak a word to me. Since I did not get my soufflé on Saturday, I tried again on Sunday. This time I called to reserve them over the phone before I wasted my time to drive over. When I arrived at 10 am, there was only 1 cashier with 2 employees, one being the«supervisor,» standing around as the line got longer. When I got to the register, I watched the supervisor give out 3 refunds in front of me as they had messed up other people’s orders. She then went over to my cashier to tell her she placed orders incorrectly– very unprofessional– and then took over the register to finish taking my order. No hi, no hello… I received a «yes?» The food was delicious, but this place needs to get it together; greeting & taking care of their customers, watching their online orders come through, and handling any issues away from customers. I will be back but will not order online going forward– this location is very inconsistent with having your orders ready on time; so much for ‘Rapid Pick-Up.’

I couldn’t be more upset. I came in around 9AM and ordered a soda only. I was rung up by «Osama». I got my cup, sat down — I then opted in to my conference call. I used my receipt as my «notepad» which contained vital information I needed to keep. Then I go to the restroom. Come back to my soda, pen & receipt gone. Who the hell throws a pen, soda and notes away within 2 minutes or less?(Wouldn’t you wait at least 5 – 10 minutes… or set it aside?) I came up to Osama and asked where’s my stuff? He then asked the dining room cleaning member, Teresa(?) where my stuff is. And just as NOBIGDEAL, thrown away! But here’s your pen… Ok. Now I’m pissed! I needed my notes on that receipt! The manager literally was like… oops! Sorry? I’m just PISSED these people don’t care. You think I’ll ever return here for even just a soda again? Livid to the extreme.

What I like about Panera is their updated menu every time I’m there and the fact that they actually have tasty items that keep the hunger away no matter what time of day. Early morning? Breakfast time with bagels and pastries. Mid-day? Soups, salads, hot food. And for later? Their famous sandwiches(still my favorite: Italian Combo). It’s not particularly inexpensive here but you get a nice setting, diner-style, fast service, and good food quality. Free wifi, water, and refills. I like it here!

I just love Panera so much. I hadn’t been to this one before but it was a standard panera– they were busy for a Saturday morning but the staff was nice and they didn’t mind that my friend and I took up a table for a while. Also very clean!

Just okay, but that’s probably what’s to be expected from chain-like restaurants like this. In my opinion, their lunch offerings are better than their breakfast options. The sandwich choices are sufficiently varied to satisfy anyone’s particular craving. Their baked goods are hit-or-miss, and unfortunately for me it has been more miss than hit. Even when purchased in the morning, sometimes their pastries have that day-old feel about them. Their bagels are uninspired, and their breakfast sandwiches are not particularly innovative either. The coffee is probably the biggest disappointment; you order a cup and then pump it from one of about a half dozen carafes. The coffee is usually reasonably hot, but the flavor isn’t especially noteworthy. This is, however, a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends. There dining area is not crowded with tables and you don’t have to talk above your neighbors in order to be heard.

My qualm with this particular Panera has to do with the quantities regarding there serving portions. When I ask for salads, there is hardly any dressing on it. When I ordered things like flatbread sandwiches I pretty much just get the flat bread. What is up with that!!! Panera is already on the $ side, and that is okay, their options are fresh and healthy but can I at least get enough of the one $ 10 plate I ordered? So many a time it seems like they run out of breads, pastries and food… really!!! One of my favorites is the breakfast soufflé, but unfortunately they tend to run out of it quickly. If I want one I have to get there before 9am. As far as the service I would say people here a very nice and have good customer service. On more than one occasion they have been super attentive and compliant to our requests. This place can get busy and during the winter months is hard to find places to sit.

Came here during the lunch rush and understandably I had to wait in line for a bit. This particular location is setup to allow for the most seating possible. The downside of this is the weird setup to stand in line. During the lunch rush, the line literally went out the door, blocking patrons from entering and exiting. I decided to try some new things off the seasonal menu and the strawberry poppy seed and avocado BLT sandwich were screaming my name. The food came out really quick, which made up for my wait time in the order line. The salad was great, alot of fresh fruits — strawberries, blue berries, mandarin oranges — and it is topped with a very light and slightly sweet dressing. Give it a try this summer!
