The pizza is ok but the service is a bit slow. I had to wait around 30 minutes for a pie and they put very little pineapple for the topping.

Am so happy to find a new café in Sunset Park that is devoted as well to building community. The latte is delicious: haven’t tried the food yet, but plan to stop in this week. What I like most is that they are offering evening drop in events like poetry readings, writing workshops, and open mic, that are fun and scarce if non-​existent in Sunset Park. Kudos to the owner and her husband for bringing a much-​needed experience to the neighborhood. Look forward to trying their food.

I was really eager to try their pizza after talking to the owner, who happens to be very friendly. Same goes for their cook and cashier, everyone is very friendly.
This is what makes it disappointing to leave a poor review.
I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and when I arrived to pick it up, they hand me a cheese pizza. «No problem» they said, they added the pepperoni on top of it and back into the oven it goes. I asked them if they could just make a new one, but they explained this is how they do it. They precook their pizzas, and just add whatever toppings and reheat it. If I want reheated pizza, I’ll buy frozen pizza.
The dough was so tough. I wish the friendly service improved the pizza, but unfortunately it does not.

This place seriously needs to find better management, food, services and vision. First of all is it a hipster coffee shop or pizzeria? It’s both and it’s a terrible combo. The staff isn’t very friendly and their pizza is sub-​par. I ordered a pie today and when I opened the box it looked like the pizza had been through a tornado. How can they charge for this?

This place has the best soups and salads you can find in Sunset park hands down! And those are not the only specialty of this wonderful restaurant/​café! I love their pizza and pastas too. Supper fresh and tasty! Above all they bake cookies and pastries in house which are delicious!

Lovely experience of «falling into» this café on 4^th Ave. I had come from Manhattan to pay a visit to MicroCenter and didn’t want a major meal. This place was perfection. My friend and I enjoyed excellent homemade potato leek soup and chili con carne. There was a wide variety of beverages. And gluten-​free options for those of us who appreciate such things. Very pleasant atmosphere, with the namesake children quietly absorbed in computer games or homework. This new café is worth looking for when you are in the neighborhood.

Disappointing altogether. So we put in a simple GrubHub order for two slices a salad and a lemonade the order was estimated 45 minutes to an hour. We got the order an hour and a half later. The pizza was decent and the salad is OK but they gave us a salad with no fork and the lady who delivered was really nice and even gave us a complimentary cookie for being late however she forgot the drink that we ordered and we didn’t notice until she left. So we called the restaurant and told them they forgot the drink and the lady pretended to not know what to do she recommended that we call GrubHub because she somehow didn’t know what the customer and grubhub is supposed to do about these sorts of things. I thought that was strange since her store takes orders from GrubHub but whatever so then she said in a somewhat sarcastic tone «I mean I could bring the drink to you but my driver is like 20 mins away so you’d have to wait 30 minutes or more» and I quickly said yep that’s a great idea thank you. I could tell she was disappointed but we got salty pizza with no drink what can I say. 5 minutes later she called back and said «I called GrubHub and they refunded your drink and the tip I’m very sorry for the trouble.» And I said so you decided not to bring the drink and she said umm yeah… so we hung up. What a wonderfully pleasant experience that was… seriously everywhere on earth would take ownership for the mess up and either refund the whole order or bring the drink.

Good pizza and great hot chocolates! Owner has a lot of legit pizza expertise. Very Italian. Good coffee too! Nice exposed Brick.
