Masterpiece Mixers

Had a great time with my best friend. The main reason it was so fun was the «instructor» Sydney — she was poised, confident, fun and 17!!! Took me by surprise but I was so impressed with her that I had to write this review.

Masterpiece Mixers in Naples is GREAT! My daughter has been doing a summer weeklong camp with other girls her age and she loves it! Debbie is wonderful with the kids and they come away feeling like like Picassos all while having fun. We’ve had numerous birthday parties here and not only is it fun but instead of cheesy goodie bags the kids leave with a piece of art that they’ve painted to suit their own style. It’s also a fun thing to do for rainy days. We LOVE Masterpiece Mixers!

We have always had great experiences at Masterpiece Mixers. My kids, ages ranging from 6 to 15 have all taken classes and they have all thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband and I also frequent Masterpiece Mixers for date night — great fun to be able to enjoy cocktails and still walk away with something that actually looks good. Always a fun idea for girls-​night-​out.
All of the instructors are fantastic. We have had classes with at least 5 different teachers and they are all energetic, entertaining, very engaging and hands on with their instruction. You don’t have to be an artist — you will still walk away with a masterpiece!
The Suwanee location in particular has easy access to a few different restaurants if you want to grab dinner (or even appetizers to take back to class).

Great establishment! Went for a Birthday as I was very impressed. I’m no artist, but the instructors were wonderful and I was pleased with my painting.

So much fun! I’m not very artistic and I was so happy with my painting. The teacher was energetic and made the class fun! Great location too, we grabbed a bite to eat before the class and ippolitos and walked to the class after. Can’t wait to go back!

I have had fun every time we have been there. My son really enjoys the homeschool days and always comes home with a beautiful project. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient.

Such a great creative outlet. Go for the experience even if — especially if! — you think you’re not an artist. They’ll make you a believer. And art of any kind is good for the soul.

Great place for a fun girls night, date night and their kids classes are a blast too! Staff is amazing and very professional!

This is a great place for a girl’s night out, birthday party, or kid’s class. My daughter loves the homeschool classes they offer every month. The teachers are kind and patient and the atmosphere is fun.

I went to Masterpiece Mixers with a group of friends. Neither of us had prior canvas painting experience. We had an absolute ball, and our paintings were really good! The instructor for the class will guide you through each and every step of the painting. You will feel like a experienced artist when you leave with your finished masterpiece :-) I loved it!

I’d never done any of these BYOB painting classes before. While I’m not much of a drinker, or an artist, I really like Masterpiece Mixers and have been to this location twice now. The first time I came because of an Amazon Local deal ($ 12 for $ 25 value), and I actually bought two to bring my mom. Neither one of us have any painting experience, and for some reason I thought it’d be a great idea to sign up for a 3-​hour class ($ 35) instead of the standard 2-​hour one ($ 25). We did the Cityscape class with Thays, and to my surprise our paintings ended up really well even though it looked so complex. I’m the type of person who likes structure, and because I don’t trust my own creativity with these things, I want to follow the instructor’s painting as closely as possible. Thays was a lot of fun to learn from though, she’d give you guidelines for painting techniques and shades, but would tell you that you can’t really mess it up because it’s your own painting. She has this rule that you can’t diss your own work. :) It’s definitely a fun date night or ladies night kind of event, but I came back by myself another time for a 2-​hour class (I saved $ 10 for bringing in a dress to donate for a cause) and had a lot of fun with the people I met during class. Be sure to subscribe to their e-​mail list to find out about discounts like that. :)

Had a great experience. I bought the Groupon for two people at $ 23. The instructions did not state what code to put into the website when making reservations, so I happened to guess and got it right. You see, they had Groupons for one person and Groupons for two. If you bought the one-​person Groupon, you put in «GROUPON» as the coupon code when checking out, as it states in the instructions. However, if you have the two-​person Groupon, the code is «GROUPON2.»
We had a bit of trouble finding the studio because it is on one of the side streets in Suwanee Town Center. Right before City Hall, turn right onto the side street and Masterpiece Mixers is right there.
Anna was our instructor and she was very sweet. It didn’t hurt that she complimented my painting skills quite a bit! Haha. We had a great time. BF messed up one of his trees and ended up having fun with it by painting a stick figure with a buzzsaw cutting down one of the trees. He plans to proudly hang that painting in his «throne» aka the toilet, by the way.
They also sell the paintings that instructors have made during past classes, so BF picked up a modern-​looking piece for only $ 10.
