Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County

Made a donation yesterday and went into the store for an extra baking dish.
The store was very clean and well-​organized. It has to be one of the cleanest and best organized I have seen for Goodwill. Layout was straightforward, clothing was completely color coordinated, and the staff was very friendly.
I did notice a customer standing at an empty register for quite a while before she got assistance. The associate was helping others in the store. It looked like they were short staffed, which is ironic since Goodwill provides people with jobs.
Anyway, all in all this is a very nice location. I have found some neat vintage items here over the years in housewares.
I did find my baking dish yesterday at a very reasonable price. A few of the other Depression Glass items were a bit overpriced, otherwise I’d have bought more.
This is not my closest Goodwill location, but somehow I’d rather donate to the more humble Swarthmore clientele (many folks from Chester come here + Swarthmore locals and college students), than the Berwyn housewives near me, who would die before admitting they shop at Goodwill.

I check here every week for items. they have recently reorganized the stock and i have to say its much easier to see if anything intrests you. very friendly and helpful staff.

This is a relatively large, clean, and well-​lit thrift store. They have several fitting rooms which is great if you are planning to buy clothes here. In my opinion, the clothes were a bit overpriced, though.
The houseware section was extremely sparse but there were some nice pieces of furniture that were priced to move.

I enjoy thrifting. I never, never, never can find anything here. Oh… I found some drinking glasses once but thats it. Thrifts in the burbs should be better.
