Dr. Ireland was referred to me by a friend and I am so glad I went to him! I was freaked out when I found out I had to have PRK surgery instead of the Lasik procedure but he assured me it wasn’t going to be much different. The procedure was quick and painless, recovery was longer but him and his team made sure I was following the steps to recovery correctly for weeks after. I have continued to refer him to others.

It has been three months since my lasik surgery with Dr. Ivan Ireland. I went from a very, very high prescription to ²⁰⁄₂₀. It has been a life changing surgery and I wish I would have done it much sooner. Dr. Ireland was very professional, gentle, and skilled. I couldn’t have asked for an easier surgery with him. I really do not have dry eyes and experience no nighttime glare-​two reservations I had before surgery. In addition, I can still wear my colored contacts! I returned to work the next day without any issues and drove immediately. No pain involved either just follow all the post op instructions. The team at the Rocky Point center were awesome-​love Matt and Tammy! I have referred my family and friends there because I hope anyone who wears corrective lenses can experience the freedom I have now after enduring poor vision for so long. Thanks a million!
One note: Refresh OPTIVE was the best drops for me. Systane left a sticky residue and the regular Refresh wasn’t lubricating enough.
