Brownies House of Pizza

Have ordered several times, and will continue to order. Biggest, freshest, most delicious pizzas ever.

Service was really good and the place was cute. But we were not at all impressed with the taco pizza that everyone told us we HAD to have. It lacked flavor. I’m Italian so flavor is very important in my food. I will stick to traditional pepperoni pizza.

It’s a little place with creaky crooked floors. Terrible pizza. And just awful smell from the small dirty kitchen. Large menu to large for this little restaurant.

Every time we visit Michigan, we have to stop at Brownie’s pizza (Tecumseh). It is the best pizza we have ever had anywhere. Sure wish you would extend your family to Hawaii — or accept shipping to us. We would definitely pay… We were saddened to know that you do not ship out of state anymore. Any~hoo, your pizza is that good! Recommendation: House Specialty! See ya next year or two! Mr. & Mrs. H

Best Taco pizza ever. I grew up eating their pizza, and have loved it since then.
They also have great burgers as well, I recommend the Rod Burger with a side of Fried Mushrooms.

Too bad the food isn’t as good as the service and charm here. Soup was good but everything else was very mediocre. Seems to be a local favorite, But I would not come back again there are better options other places in town

Taco Tuesday rocks. I’ve had the Mexican pie, which is very good. My dad used to get all you can eat pasta, he loved it.

We have been here for pizza, breadsticks, and really enjoyed the food. The pizza has fresh flavor and we are hooked. Don’t even want to eat other pizzas. Restaurant is plain tables and chairs –but if you come for great pizza it just won’t matter. Wait staff is always friendly and attentive

This is a hometown favorite. I need to have a Brownies pizza when I come to town its tradition. I love the taco pizza, just me, but the place is an all around old school institution. Inside is small and not all that amazing to sit in but it’s filled with good people and feels like eating with family since this is Tecumseh, my hometown. I’m nostalgic? What can I say.

My wife and I recently visited here and waited for a half hour to get our menus… And to get them we had to ask. I think we were forgotten about because no one came back to us. I got up to ask a manager and she said they were really busy and will be with us soon. When I was headed back to our table I noticed two other couples that came in after us was already eating. We got up and left. I wrote a letter to the owners and it was ignored.
Such a shame they lost a customer for life…

We were greeted right as we walked in the door and drink orders were taken within minutes. I really liked how well-​lit the restaurant was, even though it’s not a fancy place. I ordered a taco salad and grilled cheese sandwich, both were great! My boyfriend got the same taco salad and cheese filled bread sticks. His salad was just as good as mine but his bread sticks were to die for! Those alone are worth coming back for! Our server was very attentive and polite, and there wasn’t too long of a wait for our food once we ordered. Very inexpensive, too. I think our whole bill was $ 21 for both of us. We will absolutely eat here again!

Brownies is an amazing family pizza spot! Their taco pizza is by far the best I’ve ever had! Fresh ingredients and homemade crust! Not to mention they are just plain nice!

When I come back to Tecumseh I get pizza from here at least one time. It’s very solid. I have been eating this pizza for most of my life. I would recommend it to out of towners. The service was average the last few times I was in.

A Lenawee county staple! You can’t go wrong with Brownies. If the atmosphere was better it would be a five star. Last time I went we had Brownie Bread and split a pie. Half cheese and half sausage, banana peppers and mushrooms. We chose the regular crust which is nice. All in all good experience.

Love brownies, I’ve yet to eat something here that wasnt good! love their pizza, especially the bbq chicken pizza. everything is made fresh and you can tell. no chain garbage here.

I have to give Brownies 5 stars because their thick crust, taco pizza is unlike any other taco pizza I have tried… and it is AMAZING. I have never eaten inside, nor have I ever had any other pizza other than their taco so I cannot judge that. I have had their soups at lunch and they are good. When I go back to my hometown, I often pick up a taco pizza and they are kind enough to give me all the veggies and extra cheese on the side so that I can happily reheat slices at home.

So good the time I went. I’m from Ohio and so many of us have claimed this as our favorite pizza! Brownie bread is amazing!!! Stoping by again tonight. My last time was 3 years ago.

Brownie’s has wonderful pizza. The «regular» crust is fairly thin and it is very good. I have never tried the thick crust, but people dining with me have and they were pleased. I hear the taco pizza at Brownie’s is amazing, but I don’t like to mix my cuisines, so I stick with a more traditional pizza. I get ham, and I know that a lot of pizza purists frown upon ham on pizza, but it’s what I like. The ham at Brownie’s is in very large slices and it is really yummy. I am not a fan of diced ham on pizza, so Brownie’s does not disappoint.
Tuesday is taco day. The tacos are HUGE and very reasonably priced. You can choose corn or flour tortillas (I always get the corn) and the hot sauce isn’t bad for a pizza place.
I also like the small tossed salad, and I usually sub croutons (very large & crunchy and seem to be homemade) for tomatoes. There is a very generous portion of mozzarella on the salad and they offer a large choice in dressings.
Sometimes we get the Brownie Bread appetizer, which is basically an eight inch pizza with bread and cheese and no sauce on it. You can get a side of pizza sauce or ranch to dip the bread in. It is very tasty.
I have never had an issue with poor service at Brownie’s. There used to be a wonderful waitress named Michelle who had the best laugh ever, but, sadly, she left a few years ago. The interior is quite small and it can get very busy, especially on Tuesdays when they serve tacos. Brownie’s is one of my favorite pizza places around, so much so that I often drive to Tecumseh from Ypsi to get a pizza. Also, they are closed on Mondays FYI.

The pizza is simply amazing. It has a unique taste to it, and you will get hooked! We order out at least once a week. Dinning in is also pretty good. Burgers and sandwiches are pretty standard. Family atmosphere. Great place overall. If you live in the mid-​Lenawee county area and have not tried the pizza, you are missing out.

So my husband & I wanted to try someplace new so we picked Brownies, WHAT A MISTAKE!!! We walk in and see the please seat yourself sign, we go to a table, before we even get a chance to sit down here comes the server. What would you like to drink? Can we sit down first? We tell her we have never been here before so we need a little time, she continues to rattle off the soda flavors, uh ok?
We look over the menu, here comes the server so I can ask a few questions, the menu doesn’t give much description on anything. So I ask my questions, which the server couldn’t really answer them and the server gives us a few more minutes, she comes back and I ask her one more question and this is what she said, «you already asked me that and I told you what comes on it!»
Did I want to punch her in the face after that, OF COURSE!!! Cocky attitude from a server that doesn’t want to do her job!!! We order apps & our meal, as she walks away from our table she rolls her eyes at us and walks away. The server comes to deliver them and we ask for sour cream, she goes into the kitchen and comes back, she reaches into her apron and as she walks by our table without stopping she throws the sour cream packets on our table. I was shocked and my husband & I just look at each other because we couldn’t believe she had just done that!!! I grab my purse while my husband goes to find the manager, the manager comes to the table and we tell her exactly what happened and that we are going to leave. She apologized so many times, telling us this wasn’t the first complaint she’s had about this server and asks us to stay, especially knowing it was our first time there. The manager took care of us for the rest of the meal, the manager also took care of our bill which we wanted to pay for but she said absolutely not «we want you to come back». The manager was great and unfortunately we still won’t go back. Save yourself time and aggrevation, pick somewhere else to eat!
The place is pretty dumpy, it needs to be remodeled. They need to FIRE that server!!!
