Beautiful winery and very nice people running the place. They were very informative and knowledgable sharing information with us about the different wines they offer! The grounds were beautiful and we loved their mascot dog Clover who greeted us at the door! Stop here, so worth your time! The people made all the difference! We will be back!

This was our second time visiting, and our visit was even better than our first — and we loved that one. We are wine club members, but it has been a year or two since we had visited and wondered if over time our memories had become inaccurate. Nope — it was great. The folks pouring wine are just wonderful. Personable, knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. There was continuity since our last visit, so they clearly like working there. It’s just an enjoyable vibe there. Go outside where Ryan, the manager, is barbecuing some snacks for everyone. Hang on their lawn and play the bean bag toss. Or stay inside on the couch in the cozy tasting room. It’s all good. Just for the service it’s worth going, but the wines are awesome. We love them all. Their winemaker likes to use grapes that are often mixing grapes, but Venteux will produce a wine with just that grape and it will be fantastic, such as their Grenache. We love all their reds — including their blends, and even the one white wine they produce(Fleur Blanc). And they have a wonderful dessert wine. Hard to pick just one favorite. We like the Fleur Blanc enough we bought a case of it for a family event that is upcoming. We also are fans of the Cuvee, Petite Syrah, Grenache, and the Tache La Verre(Syrah). And the Cab. As I said, hard to pick a favorite. Every wine we taste from them has a velvety start and a great finish. The wines are not cheap($ 20-$ 60 or so) but not expensive either — but they rival, in our humble opinions, the most expensive wines we have had. We see ourselves being members for a long time.

So many amazing things about this winery: –It’s perfectly tucked away without being too far off the beaten path. –Beautiful property. –Delicious wines. –Tasting room staff makes the experience so personal! If you’re just stopping by to drink some wine and have a good conversation, or if you’re interested in hearing about their process and are looking for more knowledge about their wines. They are very proud of each bottle and put a lot of care into the taste and experience. Specifically Haley and Ryan. I can promise you that you’ll be greeted with a smile. They make everyone feel like a member! A must stop!

The perfect taste of «Paso» in a glass. From the moment I got there I was greeted warmly by the Cellar Club Manager, Ryan and the most adorable wine dog«Izzy». Every wine I tried I wanted to take home with me, so I joined their wine club to ensure I keep receiving their most current releases. They really focus on quality vs quantity. The grounds were beautiful and their bed and breakfast looks cozy and perfectly situated amongst the rolling hills of vineyards and oak trees. This is a must stop if you enjoy superior service, beauty and most importantly excellent wine made with the finest winemaking craftsmanship that is evident in every bottle!

We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon with only a couple of other guests in the tasting room. Enjoyed a cheese pairing with our wine tasting. All of the wines we tried were excellent — one of our favorites of the 6 – 7 wineries we visited in Paso. Grounds are super nice and the staff was very friendly, informative, and fun to talk to. Small winery hand making high quality custom wines and supporting sustainable farming. Close to the highway and easy to find. I’d certainly suggest you put Venteux on your short lists of central coast wine stops.

Terrific Pinot Noir, beautiful grounds, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend. I bit off the beaten path, but worth the stop.

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon For $ 48.00 a bottle was very good although it was slightly over priced for the Paso Robles area. My son-in-law liked it enough to buy a bottle of the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon without tasting it. The winery is a little bit of a drive out into the country. Tasting fee was waived with the purchase of two bottles. Very good service.

Stop #5 and final stop of our October 2014 tour This place was deserted when we got there, and it was such a relaxing and restful tasting experience. The wines were good, and the ladies serving us provided a great leisurely tasting that was well explained. I was particularly impressed with some of their efforts to do dry farming(they space the grape vines out further than normal and don’t irrigate– what water comes in from Mother Nature is what those grapes get). We enjoyed the wines and experience of tasting in adirondack chairs on a porch. Amazing, right? We came home with a bottle of the Pinot which wasn’t quite as good as we remembered, though. We still have a bottle of Syrah to have in the future so let’s hope that is as good as we recall. In any case, I’ll definitely come back to try it again some day.

I had been a club member of one of the other wineries in the area that started out doing just Rhone wines, however as time went on they moved further away from the Rhones that I originally joined them for. So we dropped them and went in search of another that had Rhones and was good quality. We found Venteux and haven’t looked back since. They still do mostly Rhones but have a Cab also. All the wines are very good quality with lots of flavor and are very complex wines. And if you are a member of their wine club they have a pickup party for the wine twice a year that is not to be missed. They put on a great spread for the members to thank them and serve their wines to go along with it. We have been to quite a few of the parties and haven’t had a bad time at any of them. And the food is always great. So if you are looking for a place to just have great wine or want to join their wine club with great Rhones then this is the place for you.

First stop on a Sunday afternoon after visiting moonstone beach nearby. There internet and water was not in order. Lucky for them we had cash and hand sanitizer lol nice servers though flight was ten bucks all reds. She ended up pouring us everything she had open even a white blend. Think it was 9 different tastes. Nice wine dog. Overall wine was pretty good. Best was the petite sirah by far.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying a couple nights at Venteux’s Bed and Breakfast in May of 2013. We were welcomed by Bobbi with a selection of cheeses and crackers and a bottle of wine to enjoy. Her hospitality and cooking talents are unmatched! She was gracious enough to pack our breakfast in a picnic basket so that we could enjoy it anywhere on the grounds. Their wines are also great. We had both a red(Grenache) and white(Fleur Blanc), which we throughly enjoyed. The entire trip was so relaxing, perfect for an anniversary. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Venteux!

My fiancé booked a room at Venteux for a long weekend over Valentine’s day weekend this year and we could not have been happier with the accommodations, the wines, and most of all the hosts Bobbi & Scott. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived till the time we had to leave. Another pleasant surprise was the quality of their wines. We both love Rhone style red wine and the wine at Venteux was better than any of the stops we made during the weekend. I can’t wait till our next trip to Paso and visiting Bobbi, Scott, and of course the mascot Clover the dog.

Off the beaten path is this quaint little winery that gives you a great homey feel with beautiful surroundings. There main claim to fame was there zinfinels. They also had a bed and breakfast on the property, along with a great patio and porch big enough to entertain on it. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. This winery was a great find!

A cozy spot where we brought our own lunch to enjoy on the porch. The folks working there were fun, pleasant and upbeat. They were knowledgable about their wines and their history. The PMS blend was interesting and I liked it. Their best was the 2009 Cabernet… it was the best of the 4 vineyards we visited that day… for the price wary it was 48 dollars a bottle. Most of their others were much less, but you get what you pay for in boutique vineyards I guess. Overall, A ok!

We were brought here at the suggestion of our Wine Line driver, Nick. Over a two day period which included six wineries in Paso and four wineries in SLO this was our favorite tasting experience. I believe that it was our first tasting of the day, which was good because the wines were the best. When we came in, we had the clean, understated tasting room all to ourselves, while another party enjoyed themselves in a separate«living room» type area off to the side. I think I liked every wine on the list. i only wish that $ 32+ wines were in my budget. But hey, that’s what tastings are for, right?

Wow. Just wow. We popped in here when cruising through Paso for some tasting. The woman working there was possibly the worst wine sales person I’ve ever come across. Here are some direct quotes: «You’ll see that only the wines that have „Estate“ written by them are actually from our vineyards. Which sometimes makes me wonder why we even bother.» «This wine has hints of the fruit that grows by the road. So, I like to joke that the wine is flavored with fruit, diesel, exhaust, tar. Haha!» I couldn’t believe my ears. The wine was NOT good, but the fact that this woman couldn’t even say anything good about it was so incredibly unprofessional!
