I am so glad this restaurant is now Fiamme! The food is fantastic(Chef Rudy stayed on), the service great, and the new owners have fabulous ideas. They have a new appetizer EVERYONE should try. It’s a flaming, hot dipping sauce(their own recipe) served with home made breadsticks that melt in your mouth. The sauce is served is a ramakin on a dish surrounded by Rum 151. The rum is lit on fire which not only looks cool, but keeps the sauce hot. They also have this really awesome race car simulator — one Formula One drivers use to train, I think. It is SO realistic. A great night! A great place from the minute you step in the door through dinner and even afterward –through the last race of the night.

The food here is good and pricey. Service is poor. The wait staff spilled drinks on a guest and did not apologize. It’s pretty happening and loud at the bar during date nights.

Alessio is a great place. It’s not cheap but the food never disappionts. The service is good too. The seafood is the best and the portions are generally really big. It’s a good place to get an app and share an entrée if you can agree on something.

Ate and drank here on numerous occasions when living in Westlake. Very good service and great food. Big classes of wine and very friendly staff. The restaurant is very large so reservations aren’t really needed but a good idea after 8pm on Saturday’s. Band is also good just a bit loud to carry on a conversation.

Alessio was one of the first«nice» restaurants I tried out here in the Westlake area. The service is always really great. The first time I went I got the Rissotto which was absolutely great. The second time I got Linguini with clam sauce which was above average but not as great as the rissotto. The ambiance is really nice and romantic but just a couple yards away the bar was going off with a live band which I don’t mind at all. The best part/experience of Alessio is going out and sitting and talking until midnight since the restaurant doesn’t close until later. Having coffee and good conversation… in one of the quietiest communities of LA county.

Slow service in a nearly empty restaurant — teenager. Food not memorable and expensive. I recommend Leila’s on Lindero Canyon for fine dining the Conejo Valley(if you can call it that).

We went for Mother’s Day one year for lunch. I thought the inside(interior décor/ambience) was really pretty, though the service a bit slow. Food was great, easy parking. My brother hated the food though and his digestive system was very interrupted, to say the least, once we got home. So… either he was unlucky, or Alessio’s actually sucks. Anyway, they have a bar and sometimes play live music-not sure what the schedule looks like though, sorry. I’d go again. though, like I said, since we went for lunch. and on Mother’s Day. I could not associate any romantic vibes at this place. The booths don’t really provide enough intimacy. so I guess this place is mostly family-oriented, one could say.

My wife and I have gone here for countless birthdays [and no, we’re not that old](ours, work colleagues, family members) and the chefs at Alessio’s open kitchen never seem to let us down [good thing too]. The décor is garish Italian with funky lights and wonderfully comfortable chairs and couches. What’s really awesome(though not as awesome as the food) is the live pianist who can belt out some old Billy Joel classics. Parking is easy in the strip mall where Alessio’s is.
