Like their chair massage a lot after a day of shopping. Have only done chair there. Pressure is often firm but not too much for me. Only thing I haven’t liked is that the door sometimes opens and is really cold and drafty and once they took some random hair clip to put my hair back with without asking me. Not knowing if/how they sanitize that, I was grossed out so asked them to take it out. But generally really like it here. Good price for massage!

Been looking forward to stopping in here all week. Fantastic foot massages, and I’m in the area one day only. Everything says they open at 10. I show up at 10:05, and it’s locked at 10:15 I call it quits. Such a shame that cant open on time.

Very friendly people. A calm and peaceful environment to receive a massage. Overall, a fabulous experience at a great price! I will visit again, for certain.

I was underwhelmed when I walked in but wow, the massage! Magic fingers! This spa junkie was definitely pleased!

I have been here a few times now, have tried all the services, and I really like this place. I always leave feeling great. No question that these are strong massages, and there have been times where I have squirmed a bit under the pressure of the work. But at the end, my body always feels fabulous, and I leave wanting to come back again soon. Today I saw the owner being absolutely angelic with an older gentleman who seemed to be in some pain. Truly excellent work and genuinely kind customer care. I hope this place does great.

This was the worst deep tissue massage I’ve ever experienced. The older man who did my massage leaned over the table way too much to the point where his package was rubbing against my shoulders. He applied way too much pressure leaving my arms bruised. When I mentioned that it hurt he just laughed. I do NOT recommend this place.

My Husband bought a gift certificate for me for Christmas ½ hour Table and ½ hour foot. I gave it to the man when I arrived. I had the table massage which wasn’t great and the guy actually bruised my back. When I was to get my foot massage the guy asked me to pay for the ½ massage because he said that I would need to use the gift certificate when the owner returned from China. I told him my husband paid for the certificate and I expected them to honor it. He refused and told me I had to pay $ 35 for the massage. I gave him the cash and he still didn’t want to give me my gift certificate back. I plan on taking this dishonest business to small claims court and filing a complaint with Mall management and law enforcement.

I get lots of massage and despite going to some really swanky spas, I’ve always loved a Chinese pressure massage. Unfortunately this massage was the worst one of my entire life. The older guy applied so much pressure I wanted to die and I like a deep pressure massage and can always handle it. He was pushing on my spine and bones. Also several times he came way too close to the no fly zones!!! It was horribly awkward. Hated it and will never go back. Also I could tell the guy smoked! Awful experience!!!

I have gone to Chi for about three years. The owner Jane is incredibly skillful at massage. She gives her clients full attention and is knowledgeable about the body. Her massage is more like physical therapy so it can be uncomfortable at times but the results are worth it. However, she will adjust the massage to your level of comfort. She will also take appointments. Highly recommend.

This morning I went in for a 30 minute table massage. I got a man, and he was pretty awesome. There were a few jerky, jolts here and there but the technique was really good. They use a mixture of Chinese accupressure, Shiatsu-like compression and a couple of Thai-based stretches. It’s very deep at times, especially around the shoulder blades and along the sides of spine, up and down the entire back. They get into the knots and tight places and basically press and roll them out. Not for those wanting to fall asleep and bliss out, but I went in for mid-to-lower back pain and all over tightness and it totally did the job. I am a massage therapist myself, and I use several of these techniques in my own practice so I was very happy to see they were technically trained and actually understood. There’s a woman there that speaks pretty good English and I watched a little of her massage on a lady and she is very well trained. It’s clothed, on the table and there is also seated foot massage and chair massage available. I think you get way more bang for the buck at $ 35 for 30 minutes on a TABLE. Also just to clarify location. The place pictured by the Starbucks entrance lower level maybe USED to be Chi, but now it’s Relax. ** Chi Massage is actually on the upper level and closest parking is by the Van’s and Verizon stores, on the MUVICO theatre end of the mall. Enjoy.

I saw this place at the oaks mall a couple years ago and promised myself I would come back to get a massage. 3 months later I injured my shoulder caring for a sick family member, and since my masseuse had retired due to carpal tunnel, was in search of a new masseuse. I am very picky. These guys are great! They are more expensive than the fly by night $ 25 strip mall places, but are totally worth it. They actually do real reflexology. I go in with back pain and after an hour of them working on my feet, not my back, my back pain is gone. They can be rather strong but the owner, Jane, speaks rather good English and can adjust her style to what you need. The man who works there now is very strong and works on you more like a physical therapy session rather than a relaxation session. So be aware. But after going to them for 6 months my shoulder is healed rather beautifully. I am so happy I found them. I go to other places from time to time for a relaxation massage but still find myself returning to Chi for their quality service. If you want true reflexology, they are my go to place!

Excellent treatments! There are many foot and chair massage places in Thousand Oaks now but I’d recommend Chi Massage. Nice staff and clean facility. And they don’t demand tips like most of the other places.

I popped into Chi Massage after a great breakfast at Pickles Deli in hopes to get all relaxed to help me take a good nap afterward. Tough day… I know. Upon walking in, the place is small as can be… but nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, but spoke little to no English. This makes me wary because I’m always wondering if they’re talking smack about me. Many times I caught them looking at me and then saying something then laughing their asses off. What was so funny that I couldn’t share in the joke too??? I just wish they would stick with English when clients are present. I got the 1-hour foot massage… always a pleasure. Truthfully, anyone willing to rub my feet for an hour gets at least 3 stars. It’d be nice to know if these guys truly know Reflexology or if they just claim to and wing it. For $ 35/hr, this place is more on the expensive side with most of these places touting $ 25 – 30 on average. I chose here because it’s well lit, cleaner and doesn’t smell like smoke like some of the other places. Haven’t had any other services… but since you’re kind of in a fishbowl here at the mall, I’ll probably just stick with a foot massage.

I stopped in here for a quick massage a few weeks ago while waiting for a friend at the Oaks mall and now I’m totally hooked. I try to drive to up from Ventura once a week now to get their reflexology foot massage. For $ 35 you get a 10 minute chair massage, 30 minute reflexology foot massage, a foot bath and even some jasmine tea. They do other stuff too like longer chair massages and table massages but I haven’t tried those yet. The lady that runs it is a doctor from China and she really knows what she’s doing… this isn’t like those Ventura mall guys that just beat you to death and call it massage. If you’ve never had real reflexology before it can hurt a little, but it really stays with you all day. The staff will scale it back for you if you tell them to. They’re on the first floor of the mall next to Johnny Rockets, and the only negative is that the mall management put kiddie rides right in front of this place. So sometimes there are screaming kids which kills the vibe. They just crank up the Chinese zen music and close the doors though which helps. Also if you’re a guy like me you’ll want to bring your own magazine to read during the treatment… you won’t like the selection that’s there.
