Always a good and fulfilling meal when I eat here. Recently learned that you are able to do half fries and half onion rings, and I have definitely taken advantage of it! The burgers and salads are always fresh and consistent. The service is great as well!

Flavorful char burger, not as salty as In-n-Out, similar to Carl Jr. Meat patty slimmer than Hook. Good burger option in TO area.

Eating at the habit is one of my habits(see what I did there… I hate myself). This is by far one of my favorite fast-food restaurants. McDonald comes close, but then I remember how much McDonalds sucks. The food is relatively cheap for what it is, if you are getting a regular burger, fries/onion rings, and drinks. It can get a little more expensive, if you start to get other items. Also, make sure you get a shake. It’s God’s gift to men placed on earth for all of us to enjoy. Vanilla is my favorite(white is right). The service can take a little longer for fast food, but totally worth the wait. Everyone is friendly and will get you whatever you need pretty quickly. The area is really nice, except the smell of the Greek place next door, and has an outdoor patio. There is also seating inside. Great for groups. Stay Classy Habit.

I am a Habit fan! When I want a burger, they are hard to beat. A well-priced burger that has some substance to it, not a paper-thin, gray slice like some more famous burgers that I could name. They have other great options too: albacore sandwiches, excellent salads and onion rings to die for. The shakes are well loved by my family, although I am not a big iced confectionary fan in general. You cannot mess this up, just pick what your heart desires and enjoy!

I enjoy the quality of the food here at Habit. For fast food it’s a bit slow, but it’s a lot quicker than sit-down service restaurants and they have the right amount of outdoor seating(small amount of indoor seating). The burgers seem pretty inexpensive but I always get chicken which costs quite a bit more and overall the cost is what keeps me from eating here more often. I like the sweet potato fries and tried the fried green beans the other day and enjoyed them too. Employees regularly patrol around for finished trays and things they can clear for you. Very helpful staff. I’d recommend this location if you like burgers!

Can’t say enough good things about the Habit — whether it’s a standard char burger or a salad, I have never been disappointed. On another note, as a Catholic who is always looking for good options during Lent on meatless fridays, I discovered I am a HUGE fan of their veggie burger. It’s INCREDIBLE, covered in their famous ranch dressing of course. I will always choose The Habit over other hamburger places!

Definitely some good food here at The Habit(especially the burgers, of course). I did ask for my fries to be «well done,» and it’s apparent that the cooks did not fulfill that request. There was also a bug roaming around my table and a pesky fly, plus they have no wifi for the restaurant. But other than those small problems, I generally enjoyed my visit here.

Yeah! Burgers are amazing! Friendly staff, everything is Awesome! The kids stuff comes with a little candy burger. The food is. sometimes better than In N’ Out, depending what you feel like. It is the BEST the charburger is AWESOME! Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is that the space to eat inside is crazy. It’s 95 degrees outside and kind of humid, so during the lunch rush there are SOMANYPEOPLE. Seriously. Fine, there are some people going outside but in this particular case I just exercised so I didn’t want to eat outside. so i sat next to the trash can but once a table cleared I moved there. there are people standing around and eating, honestly we are lucky to get a table. Also there are people leaning on your chair when they’re in line for a beverage. Ok so that is technically their fault and its just downright rude, but there is so limited space . but other than that it is the best burger if your not in the mood for greasy fast-food-ish burgers.

The Habit is the most under rated burger stand. They deliver on their promise of quality food made to order! Always clean and friendly. Prompt service and tasty burgers.

First time ever trying Habit Burger. It was good clean place. Friendly people behind the counter. I had Char mushroom melt. I added grilled onions and it tasted a lot like In-N-Out, just less cheesy. Sweet Potato fries were decent. Overall decent food, nothing special.

I haven’t been here since 2014& they remodeled inside the restaurant. Much nicer but a tad darker. Always clean with friendly staff. Quick to get your food done. I’ve tried different items over the years. The Original Charburger is still my fave. The fries are yummy when it’s freshly made & hot. Crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, pickles & mayo. The burger meat has a nice char flavor & moist. Bun is toasted & soft. They have a soda fountain + 3 different fresh brewed tea containers. Also a condiment area that’s always clean & full. Combo #1 is $ 6.99 including tax. I’ve been here a few times. It’s OK with a wider selection of dishes and reasonable prices. However, the portion sizes are smaller to go with those lower prices. Just the same I like it — and it has good service and a nice décor and patio.

I go here a lot! Many more times than my check-ins indicate. I used to go to the original location in Goleta, on Hollister. That place is wonderful and had the best chili cheese fries! This location is nice. The service is good and the food is always delicious. I love how the menu is simple and they do it right. From the burgers and fries to chicken sandwich to their salads… everything is delicious and in many ways exceeds expectations. Even when I am trying to stay on the healthy track of eating, I can still eat here. I can order a salad with grilled chicken and get the dressing on the side, or I can order a chicken sandwich with cheese, mayo or condiments and they will put it on a wheat bun. Once you eat here, I don’t think you’ll want to eat any other fast food because the quality and price are that great!

Came here with my buddy Peter. I just wanted fries and a coke. He wanted a double charburger and fries. We had a hard time finishing the second fries. Whether or not that had more to do with me eating my fries in 75 seconds and him feeling bad because he had just started on his burger and felt he should leave some fries for me at that pointt, or because we got too many fries has yet to be determined(the fact he ate a double char is irrelevant). I only bring this up because the person on Register 2 combined our order as a #2DBL Char and and additional french fry. I think that saved us like 40 cents, but you know that was pretty nice. Combined order $ 10.00. Tax $.75. Order #…75.

Had to feed the family and decided to try The Habit, and thankfully it did not disappoint. For the kids they got grilled cheese, fries, and shakes… the shakes were spot on! The chicken sandwich was great. Grilled onions, BBQ sauce. I was impressed too that it wasnt a meager sandwhich either. That along with some sweet potato fries was filling and satisfying. Overall it was great. Got an A in my book, and we will definitely go again. Quality goods, and prices that were affordable.

Man what can I say it is a great burger. I got the #2 double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions, mayo. Normally I don’t get mayo, they didn’t drown it so it came out great. The bread was toasted ANSI almost couldn’t get my mouth over the burger! Fries were like frozen style but not bad, if they made fresh cut potato fries then this place would explode. IMO Glad I stopped will be back.

Been to the Thousand Oaks, Agoura, and Newbury Park locations, and all serve the highest consistently great burgers. The cheeseburgers and teri-burgers are excellent. Their fries are perfect, but my favorite now are their fried green beans! Perfectly seasoned and fried just right, they’re crisp and moist. Highly recommend.

I totally pooh-poohed this place until my husband put his foot down and made me try it. Turns out it’s a great lunch options! I like their veggie burger, and you can add sautéed mushrooms or avocados to beef – er – bulk it up a bit. You can also get it wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun, which I plan to try next time. They offer a variety of peppers at their little condiment bar, which is great. Don’t miss the strawberry cucumber limeade – it’s good stuff. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt.

This one, and all the locations I’ve been to since, are kept very clean, too. Also, no matter the location — I’ve experienced consistency across the chain. Whether you choose burgers, fries, salads, or all 3 — it’s fresh, good quality, well-priced, and quick. My favorite burger is the Teriyaki($ 3.25), love that char flavor, tangy sweet sauce, and charbroiled burger. It’s nearly impossible to avoid their super fries(heck yeah!), so I would typically get a combo that includes a soft drink(under $ 7.50). That’s fast food prices, and yet, no sacrifice on quality whatsoever. I also highly recommend their salads. They have several kinds to choose from. More than half of my visits I would order the caesar salad with chicken($ 6.95), and add teriyaki sauce atop. It is supreme I tell ya! The chicken is served warm, and again, love that charbroiled flavor. Randy likes. For this price range, it’s an excellent choice. =========================== What makes this location unique? =========================== Seating: a small amount of indoor seating(about 12 tables), and a side patio that seats about 40. A little view of the parking lot, not much to look it. Further note: this is perhaps my least favorite location due to its size and patio, but it’s still quality and they serve up fast.
