Great place for kids to learn and explore! The«little kids space» was the most fun for my 7&3 year old. From what we seen the café’s prices was pretty good. My only complaint is parking. We had no clue where to park and we found a lot which we didn’t pay for but it was about a block or so away in this freezing cold. There should be parking right on site for when the random Ohio weather we have. Also my kids are on the short side so either one of them could ride the simulator but that’s understandable. Just wish there was something like that for shorter people because even me as a adult just barely make the height :-(I promise though our kids had a blast. I could’ve sworn when Cosi was around that it was bigger but maybe it just seems that way for kids. It doesn’t have a whole day of fun but the whole place was entertaining for about 3 hours :-)

We came to imagination station for the first time today with family, and all the kids(ranging in age from 1 – 4) and the adults all had a great time. My daughter especially liked the tree house grocery store and her favorite was the play hospital with the baby dolls and ambulance. Make sure you arrive early though because it gets busier in the afternoon. We would definitely like to go back!

This place is so great! It is $ 8 admission for anyone over 3 yrs. old and free for kids 2 and younger. With a membership to another museum, the price is half off. I have the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum membership so for my son and I they only charged $ 8! We go here mainly for the Toddler Town, science shows, and storytimes/arts & crafts. The science themed shows are pretty amazing. They schedule several throughout the day. The one we enjoy the most shows them flaming different metals to show their varying colors and combusting different materials. The have a tornado machine, extensive water play area, a tree house, a hospital with doll patients, a weighted bicycle that you ride across the top of the second floor, a bungee cord ride, an animated show about growing crops/farming, a musical instrument section, and a section about broadcasting. We live all the way in MI, so it is about an hour drive for us and I consider this place well worth the car time. Staff are always friendly and there is plenty of garage parking for only $ 5 for the day. Definitely recommend this great childrens’ play station.

So much fun! There’s a dedicated KidSpace for the younger ones(with a baby room and a breastfeeding room included). The older ones have a huge museum to explore with lots of games based on logic and science. We are members because it’s a great place to explore and romp when we have days off and need to get out of the house. We’ve gotten our membership’s value out of it for sure.

Been to a lot of science and children’s museums(Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Chicago, etc) and I think Imagination Station is the best of them. Went with 6 year old on a Monday afternoon. Staff extremely friendly. Only $ 1 to ride the Simulator. Did not eat there since we were at Packo’s right before.

Took my 2 ½ year old and my 10 month old for a day trip from the metro Detroit area on Daddy daughter day and we had a blast. This place is fantastic. So much to do, even for kids under 3. The shows were pretty cool so definitely try to catch those if you can while you’re there. The food in the cafeteria was great compared to most restaurants in these types of places. The salad bar had a good selection. This place was more than worth the hour and a half drive it took to get there. We stayed for about four hours but could have easily stayed for four more with all the exhibits. The 5 and under room was great too, best one we’ve seen at any of the other science centers.

Excellent place to take kids. Kid friendly for all ages. From crawlers to teenagers. Place is always clean and well staffed. Parking might be a pain sometimes but it’s well worth it. For those who do not have a membership but are Lucas county residents, kids get in for free on Sundays with a paying adult and proof of residency. But, in my opinion, the membership is worth it! You get to ride the simulator for free, %10 off from the gift shop, and free parking(depends on membership).

This is a great activity for kids. We went there with our two boys(10 and 12) and our nephew(7) and niece(4). It is nice that there is a traveling exhibit in the front, so that there would be new activities for repeat visitors. Our boys were on the edge of being too old and had we been there without the younger cousins, it would probably have been a bust. There are lots of activities to keep the kiddos busy, so it is a good place to take young, inquiring minds; however, my kids have been to Indy’s Children’s Museum, COSI in Columbus, and Cincinnati’s Museum Center, so this was a bit of a letdown for them, but nice for downtown Toledo.

Took a 3 ½ year old and a 13 month old here this past week. They had a blast. We spent 99% of our time in the Little Kidspace area. There is a dedicated room just for under 2 which we had just to ourselves. Seemed a little worn, but the little guy loved it. The older one was worn out by the rest of the Little Kidspace including a grocery store with a scanner, a tree house, and more. A couple items broken, but I don’t expect everything to be in perfect working order when you have that many little kids running around wreaking havoc! She was also able to take advantage of a story time which included a hands-on art project. We’ll be back.

Stopped in for a couple of hours today with my almost-3-year-old and had a great time! While a lot of the exhibits were intended for children older than him, we still found plenty to do. We spent a good deal of time in the Little Kidspace(for kindergardeners and under) — we also spent a good chunk of time in the MindZone exhibit. All in all good fun and for a price I found reasonable. I didn’t eat at the food court so I can not attest to that– but otherwise I found the experience enjoyable and plan to bring my son back over the years(Though I will say that past 10 or so it seems like it would have less appeal)

I live right here in Michigan and unfortunately I go to this science center more than I go to the Detroit science center. This place is awesome I took my kids here and we had a great time. This place gets 4 stars instead of 5 because of the horrible food there, it’s gross and expensive, it didn’t occur to me at the time to take pictures inside the place because there was so much to do but while waiting for the science center to open I took pics outside. TIP: buy the year round pass if you visit any science center more than twice a year, at 130 bucks for full family, grandparents, and extra kids it more than pays for itself in the end. Also you can use your science pass at any science center in the U.S.

Awesome family outing! They even have a fun spot for babies and a pleasant room for nursing mothers. Highly recommended and we will be back!

We had a GREAT time at the Imagination Station in Toledo. Thanks to Groupon, we were able to buy an annual family membership at half-price($ 35 instead of $ 70). Of course, I bought it sight unseen, so I had high hopes of getting my monies worth and I did! The IS works for ages 4+ and probably even most appropriate for 7+. They really took the old Science Center idea and made it inventive and enjoyable. We spent 2.5 hours learning about Energy, Light, Sound and Engineering. All of the topics were presented in fun and exciting ways that kept all of our attention. We didn’t make to it all of the exhibits, due to time, but are looking forward to our next trip to see more!
