Aqua Bar

The Aqua Bar is a classy, convenient bar located in the Grand Plaza Hotel.
Ambiance: cool overhead lighting, a hand painted piano for guests to play, relaxed and quiet atmosphere
Drinks: probably 8 craft beers on tap, along with the regulars bottled. $ 6 ish for the craft beer.
Service: bar tender was super friendly. We were the only people in the bar for most of our time there. He kept us company by chatting with us and telling us a bit about toledo. He was not overbearing though and gave us space to have a good time. I believe his name was Daniel.
Our bar tender friend said that the bar could be hit or miss with a bunch of people or hardly any (as was the case for us). We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and didn’t feel like going out, so we were very pleased to find a quiet and cool bar right downstairs.

The Aqua Bar is located on the lower level of the Grand Plaza Toledo. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The non-​Happy Hour prices are a bit high. But, the Happy Hour Menu is more than reasonable. Diners can also order food off of the del Sol Southwest Grill menu. The Aquarita & Trentini are the bar’s 2 speciality cocktails.

Flat iron steak is fabulous! So are the side salad and cumin fries that come with it. Only complaint? Too much food and no fridge in the room for leftovers. Service at the bar was great, too!
