Royal Cravings

This place is awesome. First of all, the owner comes out, so incredibly friendly, cuts prices at times, gives good deals. My husband had a banana split and said was awesome. I got a giant regular buckeye and a candy apple… that’s right, a cinnamon, hard shell, red candy apple… like you used to get a cedar point. HUGE! And the apple was GOOD! Not one of those super hard, sour Granny Smith apples. The shell was delicious. I actually licked the cellophane… lol. The buckeye was great. Hubs got a candy apple in wild cherry. Hasn’t tried it yet. They must have forty flavors of popcorn, different nuts, more flavors of ice cream than Baskin Robbins. The owner really made the visit great. Judging by the people walking over after eating at Schmuckers (no pie, people! Good choice when you have Royal Cravings next door), and the people driving in, word must be getting around. And if you like Buckeyes as big as a cat’s head, there are several from which to choose. Can’t wait to get another apple.

Found this family business on Unilocal and I was beyond happy with my experience. I called in and asked if I could have a gift basket delivered to a friend in need of some cheering up. The man I spoke to was more than happy to help me and set up a customized basket with a price specific to what a was looking for. Only $ 5 extra to have it delivered to my friend. Polite, easy, inexpensive service. What more can you ask for?!

This is a quaint little hidden jewel in Toledo. The owner is always there. He is so friendly and really takes his time with customers. My 6yr old loves this place. The ice cream is delicious, but in addition to the ice cream, they have many other goodies. The flavored popcorn is delish, our favorite is the rainbow mix. They have chocolate apples, those wonderful candied cinnamon nuts we all love and a wide variety of other chocolates. I believe in the winter the hours are limited but Royal Cravings is definitely worth the trip!

As I lay on the couch pondering what to do with my life, my lovely GF says «Let’s get ice cream!» I sit up promptly realizing what a great idea this was. I eagerly grab my phone, go to maps, and type «Frozen Yogurt.» What comes up you ask, Royal Cravings. Being that I am not from the area, I have never heard of such a place. I ponder to myself if this place will be good enough for my princess and her prince. I jump up, grab my love, and hurry to the car. An adventure awaits! We pull into the plaza, and there she sits. We walk in, and oh my.. . The selection of ice cream is.. . Well.. . Incredible! And not only is there a royal selection of delicious ice cream, they have beautifully crafted candies and chocolates. Not only was this house of ice cream smashing, it was fit for a princess and her prince. The best part: I go to the register to pay for my extravagant selection of deliciousness, I open my wallet, there sits a Lincoln and Jackson. I pull out Jackson expecting the frozen churned sweetened milk to cost more than Lincoln could handle. «What’s that you say? $ 3.25? That must be for just one of our dishes.» She tells me «sir that is the price for both.» I put Jackson back and let Lincoln do the heavy lifting. I would recommend Royal Creations to all, even my mother.
