Close to work, fast & friendly service, plus delicious food? Definitely deserves 5 stars. Amazing salads, and the fries are wonderful. Would eat here more if it didn’t break the bank.

The pluses, generous portions. Tasty gyro meat. Minuses, the olives in the greek salad are not pitted, no warnings, felt like I broke a tooth. The prices have increased the new prices are hand written in a few menus(only about 50 cents higher) but not in the small to go menus.

Great portion sizes when ordering to go for lunch. In fact, more than I could finish. The menu has all the usual Mediterranean fare. Falafel was very good and not over cooked like many places tend to do. The stuffed grape leaves were tasty, and Greek salad was fresh and crisp. Pita was fresh and very good. Overall, I thought the vegetarian plate was a great value for the price and they filled my order fast. My one complaint(and it’s not really a complaint) is that the hummus was VERY garlicky. I mean like wow! But I ate it all, so I liked it! I’ll be back.

This place is good and i go here all the time since its down the street from work but today i found a bite size triangle piece of cardboard in my salad :( Soooo i wont be back after the manager on duty asked me to show her proof and bring my salad back to her. Im at work and will not be possible. An apology would have been sufficient but not even that.

It’s not great but not bad either. We had fries and chicken kebabs. Fries were great but kebabs were very average. Wouldn’t go for kebabs again.

Decent gyro. Crispy fries. Price ok — about nine bucks. Service is whatevs. Not too fast, not too slow. Not mean, not nice either.

As for the food, its excellent! Greek salad and Feta Fries are my favorites from here. Customer Service is not so great. Seems like they have too many employees so some just stand around talking. Ive had to wait to order because they were finishing they’re conversation. I usually just order for pick up so not a big deal. I would definitely recommend the food.

Why are you closed at 3PM on a Saturday? Why? Better question: Why do your Unilocal hours say you close at 9PM? Why are your hours not posted on the door of your establishment? Do you like to watch people walk away hungry and confused?

I come here when I want my Mediterranean food fix. It’s similar to Daphne’s, but the portion sizes are double for the same price. The gyro meat is pretty moist and the pita bread is fluffy and warm. I’ve had almost everything on their menu; the steak and chicken kabobs, gyro plate, gyro sandwich, the veggie plate, and the gyro salad. Nothing has disappointing so far and the food always tastes fresh. They can take a while to get your food ready(10 mins) so I typically call in and order then pick up and enjoy at home with my netflix. If you’re in the area and have a hankering for mediterranean food, I would recommend coming to BJs, but it’s nothing too fancy or special so I wouldn’t go out of my way to come eat at BJs.

Pros: quick place for lunch. Large portions. Cons: parking lot is congested. There are two counter to order at but they are on opposite sides of the counter.

This was my first time here & I was pleasantly surprised! I went right about noon & even though this is close to many businesses, it was busy with the lunchtime rush(which is a good sign) in the dining area but I didn’t have to wait at all to place my order. I ordered the Chicken Greek Salad & it was really good. The portion size was very large. The salad was fresh & the flavor was great. I am rating this a 4 because 1) the server who took my order was less than friendly. She seemed irritated to answer my simple question about a menu item. Maybe she was having an off day, I get it… 2) the kalamata olives had the pit in them. I’ve never had a salad w/olives that weren’t pitted so it caught me by surprise. So beware if you get the Greek Salad that you don’t bite hard into the olives!

Have gone there twice for lunch since it’s close to work. But I won’t be back. Last week I saw a female employee filling the little cups with their house cucumber sauce & she put her finger in it(no gloves) & set it on the tray. Seriously?! Then yesterday there were 4 girls watching videos leaning across the counter(from behind — still on the clock & in front — off the clock with their stuff). They don’t care about customers. And the food yesterday was bad. The Chicken chipotle panini was missing chicken, the bread tastes like it was sitting in paper or a box too long & the turkey avocado wrap had way too much mayo dressing with brown avocado. If someone cares do something about a place that has potential. Don’t be surprised if food inspectors come by during lunch hour to see just how this place is run

This place is probably well known by all the workers in the area, but if you haven’t been here and are in need of a quick Greek/Mediterranean fix then this is the spot. Solid options are their gyro sandwiches, but if you want to be on the healthier side of the coin then go with their salads. I’m a regular of the Greek Salad with Gyro added on top. Not only do you get a giant heaping of salad, they smother it all with hot slices of gyro right off the slow cooker. You also get pita bread if that’s not enough to fill you up. Parking is a little harder during the lunch rush, but nothing you can’t navigate and find.

Friendly staff, decent fare and pretty good portions make this place good enough in my book. I eat lunch ere on occasion when I’m in in the mood. Had the gyro, the kebab plate, and the chipotle salad, on different occasions, mind you… all were very acceptable to the old taste buds. They don’t blow me out of the water, but they definitely keep me coming back for more. There’s usually a good amount of space to sit, unless you’re a big party and you come in during the lunch rush… so I’d avoid that if I could. Parking — can get busy around lunch, and it’s in a strange location, waaaay back behind Walmart with a bunch of other restaurants and shops… It’s actually better to go south on Normandie for a bit and turn right on Knox rather than entering from the 190th side.

Went here with a few work mates for lunch. It is located in an obscure strip mall far back from the main street, so it is hard to find if it’s your first time. There are many other small restaurants next to BJ’s and all of them were crowded. Bj’s was very busy with lots of «here» orders, but lots of to-do orders — they were workin hard. The lady who took are order was very surly and was not havin fun! You order in the restaurant and they bring it to your table. It was a warm day so luckily found a table outside. My friends got the Pita sandwiches and I chose the Buffalo Chicken ranch Salad which was humongous, but had way too much dressing on it. It ruined the salad for me. We got a few orders of french fries to share — they were really good. And their Pita Bread is off the hook. So moist and doughy — not the usual thin cardboard you get. If I come again, I will get a Kebob combo. But I have had better food at Daphne’s and Al Hamra on Artesia Blvd.

Good place to get lunch. I had the $ 9 Chipotle chicken salad. Yes, huge portion indeed… and very healthy looking– lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cheese, black beans, carrots, chicken breast, Chipotle dressing. The presentation is better than the taste though. The lettuces was a bit hard to chew. I couldn’t finish the whole thing. Staffs are nice and attentive. I will be back to try other items.
