Although I have not been to Laura’s new location, I can safely say she is one of the best hair stylists I’ve ever been to!
I first saw Laura at her previous salon, Mark of Excellence, on a whim decision when I happened to be in Hermosa Beach. She sat down next to me first, and asked specific questions about the cut I wanted. «Here we can go this length» and «I think here would be the place to start the bangs». We had a plan and she went to it.
My hair came out exactly like we planned!
I knew I had to come back to Laura for my next haircut! Laura uses facebook to keep in touch with her clients, which can really make your hair styling experience personal! The extra time she takes to get to know you outside of the salon really pays off. She remembered who I was on my second visit! Not many stylists remember you upon a second visit.
Laura is fun, friendly, confident skilled and very welcoming. Although we chat a lot during hair cuts, I never feel awkward or like the conversation is pointless filler. Although I’m not sure if I can commute to Torrance for my hair anymore, we still keep in touch on facebook!
I highly recommend seeing Laura for all your hair needs!
