If you like a cold, soggy pizza with water dripping off as you aim a slice toward your mouth, I highly recommend the margarita pizza. In case you don’t get enough water draining off your pizza, you can wash it down with a Sam Adams draft for $ 6.50. This place is the pits.

The service last night was very poor for the prices that we paid. We had a group of 9 people. They were great about doing split checks for our party. We have been to this restaurant a few times before and have had great service. 1. A member in our party ask for a Coke and had to re ask after the salad was served because it never came. 2. The sauce in one of our party members dishes had to be redone because it was incorrect. 3. They almost mixed up 2 plates of pasta because they were identical and didn’t even know what it was. 4. They served bread on and off not bad but never brought enough. It wound up disappearing really quick. Whenever she put it down she practically threw it down as if she was in so much of a hurry. 5. Drink refills of raspberry ice tea was very slow. We had to ask many times and try to flag down the waitress which sometimes she was never found. Finally the waitress got smart but was a little rude about it and brought a pitcher. The waitress(the one with the red hair) was very unfriendly and hurried throughout most of our dining experience, and she didn’t not display any signs of «friendliness» until AFTER the bill was paid(this was probably because she was expecting a nice tip). Normally when we go to restaurants we give a good tip to a server that demonstrates great service and attentiveness throughout our dining experience.

Hanks used to be okay but they have recently raised prices on everything! I’m not talking about nickles and dimes either. I used to get a turkey sub(6inch) that comes with a side of fries for $ 6.98… I went today and ordered the same thing and it came out to $ 10.89! I noticed they used different skinny fries this time and it was a smaller portion too. It is definitely not worth it to eat here. I should have went to subway. but when i ordered on the phone they didn’t tell me the price went up, so i felt forced to still get it since it was already made. When i got there the lady at the counter told me the prices went up and she gave me a new take out menu and i compared it to our old menu that we have in the office and everything went up about 3 – 6 dollars per meal. I understand times are tough but dayyum! It would be acceptable if the food was amazing but it’s average. Even their pasta lacks in flavor, my boyfriend makes way better fettuccine Alfredo then they do. I used to occasionally come here because of how convenient it is and sometimes my boss would get us food here when we are busy. I think i will be visiting Aristo’s café next door more often when i don’t pack a lunch.

NOPE! DON’T DOIT… Two people told me this place was soooo good.(they are spreading lies). I ordered for pick up for the price I expected greatness 30 $ for two chicken parmigiana. I am holding the puke down as I write, my little one has been in the bathroom for twenty minutes you can guess what’s going on in there sorry TMI but… what a mistake that was the chicken was microwaved the garlic bread was chewy besides that the flavor was just not good. After we ate just a few bites we started to immediately feel sick and threw it away. This place is not good at all please save yourselves and listen to me.

Love the veggie pizza and mushroom lasagna with marinara sauce. The baked rigatoni is also delicious. My family has been getting takeout from Hank’s for over 10 years. We usually pop the pizzas and garlic bread in the toaster oven to get perfectly crispy once it’s brought home.

Terrific food just overpriced for a small quaint little place on the corner of a busy intersection. Slow with the water refills and bread but I wasn’t that hungry. We did see a small mouse on the patio but hey it was outside and at the end of our meal. I had the veal parmigiana and wife had the clams with noodles which she really liked as well. Cheesecake also delicious. Again good food… Just overpriced.

When I eat dinner at Hanks they make you feel like you are at home. The food can be as formal as Salmon with Lemon Capers or as casual as something simplier like a homemade pizza and or a nice pasta dish. The ladies that work there are very kind and they remember what you like so when you come back(if like me, again and again and again) they can guess what you want to order. That’s the best! Come to Hanks for a really nice time.

I had ravioli w/meatballs. It was really good and pretty big portions. They made it fast but they weren’t busy when I went there. I’ll be back.

Clean, quiet and friendly. Not for those that have a sensitive pallet. Herbs and spices are slightly heavy handed. My Grandfather couldn’t eat his lasagna because of the over seasoning so they took it off the bill. That is great service and customer care in my book! And, for that I will be back!

Very slow service, forgot to bring out soups, food was bland, had chicken piccata and serving size was small and it was COLD. Live close by to this place, but wont be back.

Yummo, I come all the time for the Lental Soup to go since I try all my favorites from the menu. I don’t understand how others can leave bad remarks. To each is own but should stop trashing on Social Media.

Great food and ok service. Owners are personable. Good value. Ambience is nice. No AC but at the beach there isn’t a problem. Give it a try.

This is the second time we went to Hanks in 25 years. Now we know why it took us so long. We ate on the patio and the same light fixtures were broken(along with a few more), the fountain was oddly out of sync, the tables were wobbly, the pretty little lights strung across the patio were all dark except for 8. How do we know this? We counted the lightbulbs as we waited and waited and waited ANDWAITED for our servers to remember we were there. What was so odd is how happy they were when we reminded them of our presence. It never occurred to them that perhaps we were a bit peeved when eventually my husband and I were served — and finished our dinners — and then had to seek out someone to remind them that our son had not received his meal. Luckily, we worked off some calories getting up to find people. Usually, we found them chatting in the kitchen. It’s lovely they like one another, wish they liked us as much. I don’t think we were the only ones with this problems. Saw a couples on their iPads working away as they waited. We ordered mozzarella marinara, eggplant parmesan(side of spaghetti), fettuccini with meat sauce and every dish tasted the same — heavy sauce that made me think it was from a jar and cooked down. Salad appeared to be a day or two old. The saving grace was the pizza. Very good. Nice crust, not too doughy. Hanks, we so wanted to love you because we like to support neighborhood businesses but a little TLC would go a long way — toward your cute little restaurant and your service.

I found old lemon rind in my iced tea. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I told the waitress, but all she did was replace my tea. No word from the manager, no apology, nothing. I ordered the lasagna and found it very runny. Overall, the place is cozy and has a family feel to it, but the food disappointed severely. Would not go back. Can’t get rid of the rind from my mind.

Hank’s Fine Italian? Seriously? It doesn’t live up to the name. I only ended up here because the wait at Aristo Café was too long. This was one of the worst dinners I’ve ever had. Since the events were so drawn out, I will complete my review in the form of a timeline. 6:50PM — Witnessed verbal altercation between two members of the wait staff 7:00PM — Got seated, table for two 7:20PM — Met the server, and managed to get a glass of water 7:30PM — Got our orders taken 8:00PM — I got my starter salad after other tables that got seated after us got theirs. Salad was basically inedible anyways. The Italian dressing was way too sour, it was basically like eating lemon juice. I can usually finish most things without a problem, but the sourness was legit hurting my teeth. 8:25PM — I was contemplating on whether or not to send my entrée back and just close out and leave. Things were rolling downhill at this point. 8:30PM — My entrée actually decided to show up. Veal was nothing to write home about though. And getting it an hour after ordering it didn’t make it very desirable at that point. 8:45PM — Finished food quickly and left. Couldn’t bring myself to leave a bad tip though. I highly recommend you stay the hell away from this place.

Nice food. Cute little place. Great place for a date. Some of the fruit seemed out long, and it was only lunchtime.

I gave them 2 stars because of the customer service. Everyone was really nice but the food was bad. I got pasta which was full of salt… not sure what was happening there. The meal I had came with garlic bread, which was worse than the pasta itself since the butter was drenched so severely, I was trying to find the bread part of it. The best thing about this place is the friendly smiles and the wine. Otherwise, choose Olive Garden

I had a very simple pepperoni pizza. Food is not so memorable but the restaurant is so cute. With Andrea Broceli playing, good company and at the corner of the cute restaurant, it makes u feel memorable. My friend had the chicken parmigiana with the unlimited salad bar. The chicken parmigiana is good. Better then my pizza. We ordered the Tiramisu to share. Fresh homemade Tiramisu was smooth and delicious.
