Coco’s Family Restaurant

First time giving Cocos a try. It started out bad when we ask for oatmeal the sever told us we got here late. It was 1030 I wasn’t aware they had a cut out time. After all he did provided us with oatmeal. our sever never return to check if everything was ok. We need it ketchup and had to ask the table next to us to allow us to get some. 5 minutes before finishing our food Forrest the server decides to check on us and give us the bill. Overall it wasn’t the best customer service and food quality was ok

The food was decent, mostly standard Coco’s fare, if you’re looking for standard American diner food.
The real problem is with the staff. Our first server was not perceptive. She didn’t pay attention to the order and gave the wrong item. She didn’t provide silverware, bread or steak sauce nor did she ask. Soon after she went on her break, which is fine. The next lady, Chandra, was kind and polite and tried to amend any issues not taken care of by the first lady. Unfortunately, she soon went on her break too.
After that, we waited for about 15 minutes before finally flagging somebody down for help. This person said they’d grab somebody and didn’t. We finally flagged down another lady who got our boxes and anything else we needed.
Before leaving we complained to the manager, who wasn’t exactly rude but was also not perceptive either.
Overall, I’d never come back here again and I wouldn’t recommended it either. The food better be fantastic to warrant dealing with such service, and it was not.

This is a sold Coco’s! Granted I’ve only come for their breakfasts, but I’ve visited twice and it did not disappoint. Both times I’ve come on a Sunday morning, and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes.
I don’t think their offerings are particularity exciting or anything, just your standard American breakfast fare. I usually order the veggie omelette or scramble. The service here can vary, depending on your server, but I’ve had positive experiences so far.
It can get busy at times so I’m not holding it against them. Sometimes they’ll forget a part of your order, but that’s just a part of dining out. I’m so used to busy places forgetting things that it would be unfair to count it against them.
Definitely pay this place a visit if you’re in the mood for a breakfast outing.

Terrible. I would only recommend this restaurant for their pie and nice staff. The place was dirty & very old. The booth we sat in was torn up. The food was extremely sub-​par. We went around 5pm and the restaurant was entirely empty.

Have had awesome service and food here recently. Loving the quiche!!! Plenty of hot coffee refills, brought bread to the table, not to mention my lovely pie ala mode. Sometimes it’s nice to linger, know what I mean?

My rating is based off of one thing: BANANA CREAM PIE
*Fresh bananas sliced and layered with a fresh vanilla cream filling, topped with whipped cream and lightly toasted walnuts, all in a flaky pie crust*
Coco’s has THE BEST Banana Cream Pie. I don’t even like bananas, but this pie is a whole different story. People tell me: «I don’t like banana cream pies,» so I ask them in return: «Have you tried coco’s?»
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The service is ***** five stars. Very friendly and attentive.
The food and pricing for the quality and quantity is on par with being good, reliable and average.
The menu is diverse and they do have pies.
This is a good place for casual comfort food dining, sit down with nice service to get in and out of fast (or at least when we went and it was mot crowded at all)
Parking is somewhat easy in the spacious back lot, but if it is ever jam packed and crowded theres not a lot of alternate parking options in the immediate area, although if you are willing to walk a little, the adjacent residential streets should provide parking opportunities.

No wonder this place has a low rating. Seems like they customer service people based on appearances. If you go make sure you look like you have money, if not don’t step foot in there because they will ignore you.

Terrible service. Asked for a table for two and requested a booth instead of the open tables with chairs. Booth was available but needed to be cleared and cleaned. Once it was, another group of people were seated before us. We told one of the workers why they were seated first, and all he said was he didn’t know we were waiting to be seated. Even though we were clearly seated in the waiting area. The Manager said she would fix the situation, but it didn’t need fixing to begin with. Bad communication between workers and terrible customer service.

Great place to stop for a quick bite, I’ve never had bad service or bad food here. Waiter Forrest is very friendly (love him:).
I always take a pie home they are homemade and delicious!

Food came out cold. I ate it anyways and it was ok. Sad because the scrambled eggs were cooked really well but they were barely warm. My plate must’ve sat at the counter for a few minutes. I got the raspberry stuffed French toast breakfast and it looked amazing but fell short due to poor service. Probably won’t be coming back to this spot.

We had great service food came out quickly! My steak wasn’t well done. Other than that it was a great day!

They have the crappiest service ever. As soon as I walked in, no one greeted us. We stood at the podium for 3 minutes until someone finally took us to our seats. As we received our food and ate, I called the waitress so I can get a refill of my water. She told me to wait and she never even came to my table at all after that. A nice older man with a white shirt refilled my drink. The flow was so slow so why can’t they tend to two people? I am a nurse and I would never tell my patient to wait when they ask me for something. They always come first. So Why the hell would the waitress tell their customers to wait. Bad service.

Sunday Morning Breakfast even tho is busy the wait wasn’t that long. We got seated, our waiter was Forrest. He was the BEST since the moment we got seated to the moment we left ! Even tho his section was busy he was ON IT! He approached us with a Smile and great attitude. Decently coming back and crossing fingers we get seated in his section. Thanks
Forrest great customer service there’s not that many waiters out there with service like yours. The food was really good with a great taste FYI is not only old people who eat there.

I HAVE LOVED COCOS FOR YEARS, but this location gets a 1 star on speed of service. Food is always good, my family loves the menu but the management and employees suck. It’s a shame.

I come here frequently. Raul is a mainstay at this place. Even if hes’s not server, he always greets my guests and me.
Today was no different from any other day, besides Mother’s Day. As you already guessed, this place was packed, as time went on. But like most informative patrons, I come when the place barely opens. So I was there at about 7:05am and it was a lot of great seating, before people started rolling in.
Some patrons choose to wait when seated. I don’t do that. I come right end and find a great seat.
We had a female waitress who took our beverage order and gave us menus. After that, I didn’t see her again until she brought food. Raul seems at though he was our server. He kept moms coffee cup full and always asked us was everything ok when the time was right. Not intrusive like a lot of waiters/​waitresses. He might’ve been our server. If not, he was helping everyone out.
At any rate, I ordered fresh banana walnut & caramel pancakes. Scrambled eggs. Turkey sausage. I think it took about 20 mins to get our food. Not sure. But I was to busy talking and checking Internet sites.
Their wifi is great and I have used it quite frequently. But today I didn’t. I must’ve forgotten about it.

My mother always likes her food. She always get their omelettes.
At any rate, I left tip on table and paid with cash. Not sure who will get tip in this case. Hopefully it will be Raul. Female waitress didn’t do anything.
Parking was excellent. There is a Chase bank next door in same parking lot. Very convenient to retrieve cash before going inside Cocos.
Great experience as usual. Took one star off because Today is Mother’s Day and no employee wished my moms a happy Mother’s Day. Not even Raul. Even fellow patrons were wishing each other a happy Mother’s Day.
On another note, and during a previous trip here, there was a server who was waiting on a homeless patron. He was almost all the way in front, very dirty, and smelled very badly. The waiter seemed to treat him like every other patron. After the homeless man finished and left, the waiter threw everything on the homeless man table in the trash. Condiments, plates, bowls, glass, pie menu, EVERYTHING and PUBLICLY. One couldn’t help but hear the glass break when server threw it in trash can, right at the table. Yes, he brought trash can to table. I’m not sure if that is standard procedure or not. Especially the eatery. That can be thoroughly cleaned with some bacteria soap. We all come to eat. Some regular patrons can have contagious diseases. Who knows? The aforementioned would probably be worst than your average homeless man or woman.
I’ll take another star off for that behavior as well. Very distasteful.

Great place. Food is delicious. Ordered the chicken and arugula brioche sandwich. Pretty good stuff. It’s huge as well so I had to take half of it home.
Sweet potato fries are amazing here as well!
The waiter Patrick here was super friendly and attentive as well. Excellent customer service!

Second time around and the service is still horribly slow and very unprofessional. We sat at the counter yet again due to slow seating for the main area. The server is yet again IVAN. The majority of the area was cleared as we sat down and visibly obvious that we were one of three other couples to be served. And yet it took more than five minutes for our order too be taken and another ten for food to be served. I believe I won’t be dining here again anytime soon or not at least at the counter.
